We use Hi-Tech to service our fleet vehicles and we can always rely on them to get us in quickly to find a solution! The people here are so friendly and work extremely hard to make sure everything is to your liking. We would highly recommended them to anyone looking for work in the South Austin area.

I can t say enough good things about Hi-Tech Automotive. Incredibly trustworthy, kind, and knowledgeable. I sold a car here for a good price and also take my 2015 Audi (that has never had an issue) here for yearly service. These people treat you like family and go above and beyond. Highly recommend.

Brought my car in with a starter motor I purchased online. Most mechanics in Austin won't allow this because they want you to purchase their parts along with a warranty. Hi-Tech automotive installed my starter motor no questions asked and had my car ready for pickup that afternoon. Respectable business.

Great service . They went above and beyond to fix an ongoing problem that I had with my car and could not get resolved with the local Honda dealer. They also provided me with a loaner vehicle and completed the inspection due on my car.Friendly staff.

Kind, trustworthy, and efficient.I have a 2022 vehicle with only 12,000 miles. My CEL came on and the diagnostic came back as my spark plugs needing to be replaced. A less trustworthy mechanic would have just done that repair to get a few bucks out of me. Hi-Tech didn't want to waste my money on an unnecessary repair for a brand new car and spent the time to diagnose my vehicle. I came in without an appointment and was able to get my vehicle back the same day. The staff was very kind and personable. I will be coming back here.

Trustworthy. That s the first word that comes to mind. I was in a sticky situation and couple of hours from home. They were kind and seemed to genuinely have a sense of urgency for my situation. They coordinated flawlessly with my warranty company and even managed to expedite services that were needed to keep my warranty. GOOD HUMANS. A million stars. I have a 2015 Audi S7. I went in to get the brakes serviced.From the moment that I called to when I picked up the car after it was finished, everything was top notch. Their experience was immediately apparent. I received clear and concise communication throughout. It s been about 2 months since I got the work done and everything turned out great!!!True professionals run this show. If you want an honest shop who do great work. Search no more

I went to Hi Tech on South Congress for your basic oil change, etc in a time crunch before a long road trip I had to make unexpectedly. They got me in and out quickly and made it as easy as possible.The morning of my trip (the next day) I got packed and realized my tire was completely flat from a screw I drove over on my way home. I called Hi-Tech, an hour before they opened to see if they could help, and their owner, without hesitation said to bring it in and he d help. I was able to pump it up with an electric pump and brought it in.The owner got me patched and sent me on my way, free of charge, truly looking out for my situation. Instead of losing an entire day of travel, I lost 20 minutes. Came here at the suggesting of a friend who's been using Hi Tech for many years. The service here is great! By the time I checked my car in, Chamise had one of his techs already working on the car. Not the least expensive in town, but if you love great, high quality service this is the place for you!

I was so happy that I called this place for my vehicle inspection. I had had a hell of a time finding a place to take my car to that was open during my lunch hour or right after my work. Lots of places close for the lunch hour! Anyhow I called and the lady who answered the phone not only was so efficient and found me a same day apptmt. What a miracle! And I was told cash Only but ATM next door. I was so happy I didn t care. The elderly lady in person with white Hair was such a dear. So kind and sweet and a total doll. Very friendly and nice. And just so chatty. I really loved the service and she made the whole experience quick and pain free. They need to keep her around!!! I m glad I chose to go there and I m glad I met her. I m happy with my fast car inspection during my lunch hour and will definitely go back because of her and the overall experience!!! Thank you!!

Been going there 7 years now since my boss turned me on to them. I've been going there ever since my son goes there now I've sent many friends to go there and they've all been satisfied. Really good people they do really good work and I don't see myself going anywhere else for my car needs

We have been going to Hi-Tech ever since we lived in Travis Heights .They have done all kinds of work on all kinds of vehicles of ours for over 20 years. Everyone there is very friendly and they do good and and honest work. We've bought a few cars from them as well! They are excellent neighbors, too, and we are so happy to have them in the neighborhood. It's family owned and we've watched several of the kids grow up and work there. I am happy to say, when I found this business which came as a referral, I was very pleased. I found the service to be outstanding. At every turn, the repairs were explained to my understanding, damaged parts which needed to be replaced were shown to me and I am , overall,100% happy with all my dealing with the company. I feel the personal service is what keeps me coming back whenever I have auto issues.

I've used Hi-Tech for all of my vehicles since 2019 and they are fantastic. I have a classic vehicle that required some additional research as to whether or not it was street legal. Rather than push the work back to me, the folks at Hi-Tech took the time to call the state and get clarification, which is above and beyond what I was expecting. They are always nice, polite, on time and great at what they do. Can't recommend them enough.Service: Vehicle Inspection

this understated shop conveniently located on south congress and Oltorf has big players in the auto repair, maintenance and body work. Husain, the owner, a guru for over 45 years puts his heart and expertise in diagnosing and perfectly restoring your car to its original condition. he is gentle, quick and honest. very reasonable prices. i am so glad i have come across this business. i stopped going to the BMW dealership and their recommended body shops long waits, no loaners, and way too expensive. i have Husain or his associates take care of my car from A-Z. proudly so. highly recommend.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Getting your car repaired can usually be both expensive and painful . The moment I walked in, my anxiety drained away because ALL the staff were warm, friendly and most importantly, professional! Amazing 5 star mechanics. Got a $5,000 quote from Austin Transmission Specialists to replace the transmission on my 2009 Audi and the guys at Hi Tech did a proper diagnosis and fixed it for less than half and it only took 1 day. I have used Hi-Tech Auto for no BS, 2 decades! It is a family owned and operated local business. They have always done me right and saved me money by telling me what I need now and what can wait. I trust them, which is important in this area because it is far from my expertise. I have gotten to know the team over the year and Ali and his dad are usually my points of contact. If you are looking to get your vehicle taken care of and not pay for a bunch of fluff that others sometimes tack on, this IS your place. They have a limited amount of loaner cars for a fair price too if you are needing to be mobile too. I took my car here to get a trip check / tune up and was charged almost a grand, and then found out after that my cruise control wasn't working. This is something I thought they would check on for a trip check however they did not. I contacted them and asked if they could take a look at it for free as part of the original service to which they said yes. I brought it back in and was charged $330 on top of my original tune up. On the way home, my air conditioning gave out when it was working fine this morning before I dropped it off. I took my car back to the shop and was basically told It's not their problem and they would not take my car back to fix it as they said they were too busy. Very poor customer service, completely disappointed with my experience here and wont be going back.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I am SO happy to have Hi-Tech in my area! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.Twice I have had urgent needs (flat tire and broken windows) and both times they've squeezed me in and made the repairs same day! Everyone I've worked with is kind and empathetic.I've also always been pleasantly surprised at the reasonable pricing!
