I ve owned a car for 7 years and have never had a better a car mechanic! Javier made sure I got exactly what I needed, no more no less. Very friendly and quality service. I would recommend him to anyone in Austin. I have a fiat, which can be difficult to find service for, and they did a great job here.

They are absolutely incredible here! Looked at my car on a Saturday, ordered parts, and fixed on Monday. Not only did they do great work on my car but such kind empathetic owner/team. I can't thank them enough!

To take my car inspection, I choose global autos service.. and I really appreciate how the owner/ manager approached me and treated me as an old friend, and he made me feel welcome to the shop.A bonus point was the guy who did the service.Super professional and fast.It took me no more than 10 minutes...Super!!!Highly recommend!!Price: affordable. $ 20.00 dollars for the inspection.Location: South First Street.Parking: I don't need it. But plenty if we do.Customer service: EXCELLENT!!

My shifter bushing went bad about a year or so ago I brought it here and I was charged nearly 500$ to remove two screws and replace a 12$ bushing. It took me awhile to realize it but these guys ripped me off big time. Not only that it was in the shop for three days. Shame on them! If you like being ripped off big time then go to global auto service they will gladly take advantage of you. Shame on them.!!

The best prices I found and professional mechanics!! I went to multiple shops that misdiagnosed a thumping noise coming from my passenger side wheel well. Not only did they diagnose and fix the source of the issue in hours, but they also met with me after hours so I could work in the morning. On top of that they charge a fraction of the cost of all my past services. I came to get my car inspected at around 530pm and they were able to take my car right away. Serviced it quickly and everyone was super friendly. Didn t try to sell me additional services or anything. Owner is very friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend.

I needed to make a long, urgent trip and was concerned about the state of my car. Javier was so kind and honorable. He went out of his way to help me on a Saturday, and also listened to what was going on with my life. He didn t pretend something was wrong with my car when it wasn t. He showed me all the diagnostic things and explained them to me. He gave me a good deal on new tires and made it so that my car would be in good shape to travel before I needed to go (which is really saying something, I know they have a lot of business to attend to). Just a really kind person that wants to help the community. I would recommend this place to anyone and feel really lucky that they made space for me.Additionally, for anyone who is looking for reviews because they aren t sure who to trust I am a young woman who conspicuously knows very little about cars urgently needing a recommendation on car service. Javier was super straight and helpful with everything.Thanks so much y all.

Great for getting your inspections easily without much wait. I have never had issues bringing my vehicles here even when other places tried to charge me extra to let my dark tints pass. The most I have probably ever waited here was maybe about 30 minutes or so. Don't even get off my vehicle.

A guy with glasses asked me to come again and again because of some light on their system that didn't turn red or green. Every time he said. I am sorry, but you failed. There is nothing wrong with the car, but you need to come again. When I lost my patience and went somewhere else, everything was fine, and I passed without any problem.

WOW - these guys do it right...! Knowledgeable, friendly, HONEST and fair. DO NOT HESITATE to take your car here - you will get a fair and honest service at a respectable price.My truck stalled on the way to get my annual inspection after it had sat for a few months and the owner Javier and mechanic Oscar pretty much dropped everything they were doing to go pick up a new battery - take me to my stalled truck - install it and take it back to their shop for further review. They offered to just charge me the price of the battery (WOW!) but I insisted they add a charge for their labor and extra effort.After the new battery it was not starting at first but they found a cracked hose and ordered & installed it on the spot! After that Javier drove with me to make sure everything was good and then recommended a catalytic converter flush as the diagnostic was showing something wrong. They could have easily just went the path of recommending a new catalytic converter (expensive) but went the extra steps to make sure it could be due to old gas and just sitting for an extended period. They were CORRECT and after the flush and driving for a few miles the truck felt strong again and passed inspection.I have found my new shop and they deserve it - THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT folks - fair, honest and reasonably priced.THANKS Javier, Oscar and Global Auto Service - you now have a customer for life in me...!!!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Battery

I would give 0 stars if I could. Would not recommend going here. If you want your money to be stolen then go to this place. Brought my car in because the ac went out. They had my car for over a month and when I got it back the ac went out again a week later. Paid $845 for it and Javier told us to bring it back to fix the problem. Brought it back again and said he fixed it but didn t. Went back and forth with these guys 4 separate times. First it was the whole ac unit. then it was the fuse box, then the ac compressor, now it s the hose. Now he wants me to pay another fee because he fixed it. It should ve been fixed the first time I brought it in. The state they left my car in was horrible, my car was full of trash and rat dropping and Javier insisted my car was like that when I brought it in. So not only did he steal my money he also insulted me. My car was also dropped off with a full tank of gas and when returned to me only had half a tank. It s unacceptable. Highly recommend going someplace else.Service: A/C installation & repair

These guys saved our vacation! We were in Austin visiting friends and our alternator went bad. It was on a Saturday and we were sure we were going to be stranded here until someone could repair it. Not only are these guys open on Saturday but they replaced the alternator in a matter of hours! They were awesome! And the price was really affordable! We no longer live in Austin but if we did, Global Auto would definitely be my go to mechanics! Thank yall again for getting us back on the road!Service: Engine repair

Did a great job with my car! It was quick service and honest service don't waste your time anywhere else. If you have the parts already give them a call so they can fix your car labor charge only. Definitely coming again !!

Poor customer service, called in to get service and they told me to take my business elsewhere. We needed a repair on a check engine light that turned on. Both the owner and his staff were rude, keep in mind this was my first time calling as a new customer!!

Great place to get your vehicle inspection done. Friendly staff, convenient location, was busy but they worked quickly and were done in around 15 minutes no problem. I definitely recommend this place.

This place is great for inspections. But I live in the neighborhood so take my car there for routine maintenance as well. Oil changes for my old 4Runner are typically around $40-50 and I get a full write breakdown of charges with my receipt. Went today and was told AFTER it was done that it was $70 with no explanation of the additional cost. Will not be going back for anything other than inspections, seems like they just make up a price

Don t go to this place if you don t want to get robbed. Took my truck in for inspection got it done but when they gave me the truck I had a $200 dollar part missing I had plugged into my obd2 port. When confronted they basically told me that wasn t there problem and wouldn t do anything and customer service was bad couldn t check the cameras or anything. Basically got robbed and couldn t do anything about it. Just giving a heads up!!No ballan a este lugar si no quieren que les roben!!

Just had a horrible experience!Paid $200 to have ac fixed, and my car was returned to me exactly the same way... NOT fixed..even though I had figured out the issue myself was told it was fixed..a,I evacuated,am and recharged...I am fully physically disabled and get heat stroke easily. Also have a 15 mm kidney stone dealing with. Have a baby too and he can't handle 110 in a car! Very unhappy with the service I paid for and didn't receive. Usually Javier the owner makes sure that things are fixed but he has a new mechanic that is NOT doing his job properly. I have now driven back and forth from San Antonio to Global a total of 16 hours , over 4 days..just to have AC fixed and it has not been! Remember I'm fully disabled and passing a 15 mm stone! Very misleading as I was assured it was fixed . I will be going in again today to actually have it fixed . If it's fixed as promised I will report back.

It s rare that a mechanic will tell you that you don t need repair. Very honest business practice and prices are fair. I wish they had a better driveway and parking lot but this is a very busy area. Great place to get your car inspected as well.

Went to get grinding brakes fixed. Waited for 3 hours but it was done. Kind and good folks work there. Recommended by my neighbor. I would definitely go there again.
