I went here to get a state vehicle inspection, but it was 4:15 and I was worried that they might not start one this late. All the mechanics were working on different vehicles, but Matt came right over to see what I needed, and he assured me he could do it, no problem, and he did. He had it done promptly, too. I was impressed with their customer service. There is a taco trailer right next to them, so I bought a couple of breakfast tacos to take home.

I've only done vehicle inspections here, but these guys are really nice. I want to give them legit business, so am planning on bringing my truck back for a break job soon. I'll add to this once I get that done. Thanks for staying a little bit over, guys!

Great service and fast. I was in a tight spot with my only vehicle being down. Took my car in for a job at 8am the job was supposed to take most the day. I was told I could pick up the car the following morning. Matt, another guy & Ted(owner) attacked the job and got it done in a couple hours and I had my car back before noon the same day. I highly recommend Garcia Precision Auto Service. Thanks a lot Matt & Ted

Our car broke down and they were able to get us in within 5-10 minutes of calling. They took care of us and let us sit in the office while they worked on our car. I went there to recharge the AC but ended up paying $1000. It was difficult to get a detailed job estimate before the job was done. So they also replaced the spark plugs and some other minor stuff. Since I agreed to pay over the phone not seeing the exact job details, I paid the bill but I feel like I overpaid a lot.Don't recommend this service.

Got a flat overnight. Left it outside the shop. Pulled up at 8:30 in the morning and they already had it patched up without any correspondence. Can t ask for better service than that.

Once again, back! Ted and Matt are the best in Austin. They both are friendly and welcoming. Having car issues is stressful enough, but they make it an experience that is relaxing and welcoming. Full of information to get the car right at the best price.I came back to get the inspectioncompleted. I asked them what preventive care I should work o; they gave me the best recommendation to make sure it stays running right at the best price.Thanks guys!

Explained my vehicles issue, and the mechanic was quick and knowledgeable and confident on said issue. We set up an appointment. Garcias was fast and efficient, and the pricing was extremely fair. Very satisfied and highly recommended.

I'm not the most savvy car owner, but not once in my interactions with this crew were they anything other than helpful and communicative. I kind of dive bombed them this week with a broken alternator and a janky battery terminal and they got it done and helped me solve a few more problems I was aware of but hadn't addressed. Now my car drives like the day I got it. Best of all is they got everything done lightning fast. Lesser shops would have taken twice as long on labor/assembly. They're about their business, I really appreciate the expediency. I'd recommend this shop to anyone.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HEREThis guy charged my roommate $2000 for repairs and then told him that the car wasn t drivable and he was out of his depth . Absolutely the most ridiculous experience I ve heard of with a mechanic.

Walked into the shop to have my AC fixed, and oil changed, and to get the car inspected. The guys immediately got after it and was super informative and helpful and told me how to save money and informed me of minor issues I wasn't even aware of. Couldn't be happier with thier service. This place is amazing. The service is great they were fast with putting in my new front brakes and didn't try and get me to replace other items not needed at this time. Staff is so friendly. And cost was lower than other shops I called. I highly recommend this mechanic shop.Thanks for getting me and my car back on the road.

I came here for services I didn t feel comfortable doing myself. They were professional, did an awesome job replacing my battery cables, redid the wires insulation and cleaned too. Pretty good price and in good time.I got my inspection here too. I wasn t able to pass the first time but they helped me out to get it corrected and were able to get me taken care the very next day. I most definitely recommend coming here.

I have gone here the past 3 years to get my car inspection. As always, great customer service and great experience. No wait time when I went and was in and out in about 15 min. The guy is super friendly and made it very easy to check in and out. Just make sure you have all your car paperwork and it will be a breeze.

Inspection was fast. Personnel was friendly. Shop was very clean. All positive signs of a good business. And they have one of the coolest classic Dodge pickups I've ever seen!

Mr Garcia, is a wonderful honest gentleman. His work is one of the most affordable and reliable that I have found in Austin. His shop and his work is very clean and thorough. Even if it's far for you, he will be worth the effort. I had an alignment job that he completed. When I arrived, my vehicle had been diagnosed improperly by Sun Auto on Slaughter. He corrected the diagnosis and reassured me that the parts I needed to replace were minimal. Two years later and his diagnosis is still true. I only had to replace one tie rod end. Thank you you have a lifetime customer.

I came here after spending $1100 on my car at a different mechanic in Kyle,TX who did nothing but fix the part and then make something else worse. My car rattled and I was getting pretty depressed about the lack of professionalism.But I came to see Ted and Matt. I explained my dispiriting experience at the other mechanic. Ted immediately said let s test drive . We heard the sounds and he was diagnosing everything as we drove and took my concerns to heart and understood my problems.He started working in the car right away. He didn t hesitate to find the problems caused by the other mechanic. And one by one he found everything they had done wrong and how they didn t properly attach pieces and kept showing me the issues.With out a doubt I will never take my car to any other mechanic. He will be my go to guy.in the future as he s not just honest but he does thing right.Thank you.

I went to this place last year to get an inspection and decided to go again since it is 5 minutes from my house. Upon driving up the Hispanic guy with a beard didn t say anything while looking straight at me. I had to ask for an inspection which he rudely replied they don t do inspections. Little guy seemed like he was having a bad day. I called 10 minutes later to ask if they do inspections because it s listed on google and the guy said they do but they were about to go on lunch. I don t why the guy couldn t have said that from the start. Take your business to 1626 auto inspections! Much more professional.

HONESTY - I went in for what I thought I needed, which was an alignment. it took the owner only a few minutes to let me know that what i needed was two new tires because one was splitting and about to blow. he directed me to a tire shop because he didn't have the size i needed.He didn't try to sell me what i didn't need and helped me get back on the road. you can bet i will be back to this shop the next time i need my vehicle looked at and worked on. honesty and integrity go a long way.

This place pretty much robbed me!I took my car for a full synthetic oil change and was charged $129Job well done but the price was so high that I thought they were just desperate to make a buckWill never go there for anything EVER againThe actual mechanic heard me complaining about the price after the oil change was done and the proceeded to check the other fluids on my car.I guess he felt bad for what I was charged.Yeah! I always take my preferred motor oil and filter to shops and usually get charged $20-30 for the labor. These guys charged $69 for changing my oil. That s insane and a HUGE RIP OFF. Tried to support a local small business but never this place again.Update: If a shop can t give you a dollar amount when you specifically ask them how much the labor for an oil change will be, BIG RED FLAG. As a prior fleet manager that over saw hundreds of cars and their regular maintenance throughout Texas, I can confirm that NO other shop has charged $70 for labor to change motor oil on a 4-cylinder engine. I ll give them 2 stars just because the techs are decent guys but clearly the business has AWFUL pricing.

Went here to get my car inspection. Quick, friendly and efficient. I would take my car there for repairs simply because everyone was working hard, seemed to know what they were doing. Everyone called the head mechanic "sir" and I really liked that for some reason.
