I had multiple services done here by Greg. I had a pain free experience and my truck has been driving and riding much better and safer than before. Quality craftsman are always difficult to find, but now you where to find it! The pricing was affordable and fair. It's in the name! Always great service from this crew. They are courteous, quick and great. They always take good care and if they can't figure things out they take it personally and continue until the job gets done. Whatever it takes. The best part is that they give my wife as good of treatment, if not better. Never that classic mechanic attitude, but just very respectful and friendly. 10/10.

Honest, fast, and efficient mechanic shop! I was assisted by Jared in the front and he had great communication and was very pleasant to work with.I had a bad driver s side rear door window regulator and Friendly Car Care was able to replace it within 5 hours of me dropping it off on a Tuesday morning.I would trust them to take care of anything else that came up with my car.

Great place to take your car or truck for service or any of your other automotive needs friendly staff clean waiting area great people. I ve been taking my truck here for over 2.5 years never had a problem.

I have been using Friendly Car Care since 2013! When I was deployed, they took care of my family by taking care of our transportation. This IS NOT an order taking only, organization - These mechanics and owners ARE FAIR and COMPETENT ADVISORS. I recommend them over anyone else.

The team at Friendly Car Care continues to astound. I have an older car with very difficult to find parts. They scour the country to find the best options. During my latest repair, they found a separate issue with a belt that left unfixed would have caused catastrophic damage to the engine. Even with that fix, the total cost of the repair came in almost $100 less than the original estimate.

Fair price on oil changes, last time they told me I needed lower control arm bushings but this time they told me that they still have plenty of life left instead of telling me they need to be changed. very honest

Great experience at Friendly Car Care. Had a rebuilt engine installed at another shop on a 1995 Ford F250. After numerous experiences with poor quality work in the form of bad diagnostics, loose clamps etc. I decided to switch and found Friendly Car Care. Jared was a tremendous help and had great communication along the process. Friendly Car Care fixed an oil leak, reset the timing, and fixed the AC system on my truck. Overall great experience! My baby is running again and my wife is happy I ve stopped complaining about it! Thanks so much!

As long as I live in the Austin area this is the only shop I will take my truck to. They are very open and honest about the work they recommend with detailed feedback and fair prices. Exceptional service and knowledge. I had an old stereo and speaker system to replace in a 20 year old car. They replaced everything at a great price, didn't upsell me on anything I didn't need,, and even went above and beyond to help me troubleshoot some tricky cable problems until the stereo was playing like a dream. Absolute trust in these guys. They'll work with you, even with a challenging car.

Fantastic place! Car really needed an oil change and I happened on this business. They originally said over the phone that though they were busy, they could take care of my car the next morning. I drove in and they got my car's oil change done in less than 3 hours. Friendly and fast service. Friendly Car Care has been consistent in providing great maintenance service for my 2007 Ford Fusion. Honest and accurate estimates when it comes to issues and scheduling appointments. I've been coming here for inspections, oil changes, issues since 2018-2019. Very satisfied with their business.

Such great service, even over the phone! Jerrid/Jerrick was so great and knowledgeable, even on my little mini van and towing capacity. Didn t oversell, was patient with my knowledge and just so great - you expect the worst calling mechanics but I wouldn t hesitate to use them or recommend these folks!

The guys who ARE Friendly Car Care are simply magnificent! After failing my state inspection I drove across the street very frustrated and kind of sick to my stomach. I had repairs done on my car in December by another car repair shop who really took advantage of my lack of knowledge about cars (an expensive lesson), so I had a bitter taste in my mouth when it comes to trusting automotive repair shops. My frustration walked in the door with me it could have been the same situation here...except Gregg the owner took me behind the counter and showed me EXACTLY on his computer why my car failed my inspection test. He explained in detail what needed to be done to fix the issue keeping me from passing my state inspection, then he showed me what was very workable as to the high side and the low side of what I could expect my repairs to run. His attitude and his willingness to not only educate me on my car repairs, but he really gave me reason to trust his company. A good reputation is golden when it comes to a successful business and Gregg assured me he and his people would take good care of my budget and my issue.I made my appointment and put my car and my finances into his hands.Gregg, Michael, and the very excellent technician Ryan who worked miracles on my car were BEYOND professional and fair. I am so well pleased with how I was treated as a customer, by their dedication and willingness to make my car right in a very seamless time frame, and am a witness to the fruits of a business run with excellence. Friendly Car Care is the ONLY place I will ever bring my car to after today's exceptional service! I don't know why I have seen a few negative reviews on here because I couldn't have asked for a more professional team of service people who stand behind their work and their reputation, and who go all out to please their customers. I am one happy customer!!!

I have been taking my car to Friendly Car Care fo years. Always great service and dependable. They have given me rides when I needed them and are very honest people. They will give me options to fit my budget. Me and my husband both love this place and they definitely live up to their name. I trust them completely and can't say enough good things about Friendly.

EDIT: I would like to note that their customer service is/was great, and had no influence on the original review. they contacted us within 30 minutes or so of this review being posted. They were concerned on the miscommunication originally, and offered to refund the amount that was cause of the confusion, and did so immediately while on the phone. I greatly appreciate their honesty and outstanding customer service. Will now be referring others to their shop.We are in Austin for work, and started having issues with our vehicle. They quoted a $120 diagnostic fee, which we said never mind to. Luckily the owner was in, and offered to take a look for free. He told us it needed a throttle body clean and idle relearn, and told us to stop and get an air filter for them to put in after the throttle body clean. Told us to bring it back tomorrow (today), and when asked what cost would be, he told us it would be $50-$60, $100 at most. I told my boyfriend I d do it myself, but he insisted on taking it there having had a good interaction with the owner yesterday. We take it in this morning, and after waiting 3-4 hours for the quoted 30-45 minutes of work, we were charged $239.15. Highly disappointed in our encounter, as they could have advised us the ACTUAL cost, considering we mentioned the quote from the owner upon arrival.

Amazing! Step back 40 years when an honest shop does what they say needs to be done, and matches their estimate. I had multiple issues, all taken care of in a day. While under there, they adjusted other stuff they noticed needed attention - comp. I could tell the difference. And advised me of future concerns. I've never called mechanics warm & fuzzy. How about grease and grins...Very nice. Friendly staff, their estimate was way less than others. Very comfortable waiting room.

I brought my company vehicle in for routine maintenance because Friendly Car Care has a super short turnaround time. They discovered a major issue and helped me figure out that it was still under warranty with the car manufacturer that led to major work being done for very little money. Amazing attention to detail, and shop manager Mike is on point and extremely helpful.
