After finally getting the store to honor my warranty, I picked up my rim and tire today and received with it some gouges all around the inside of the rim. Total of 5 spots similar to the pics I took

I came in for a courtesy check. The employees stress over the phone and in person that it's first come first serve regardless of if you make an appointment, so I can in early. Employee said there's only one person ahead of me. Three hours later that person has left, two other people have come and gone, and I am still waiting. I ask for the status of my vehicle and the desk employee says they are about to get started and it will be another hour. After an hour my car is finally done. The fact that I paid only $10 for the service is the only saving grace. I had to wait another half an hour for my car to be returned to me. Four and a half hours for a courtesy check.

It took 3 different visits to get our car actually fixed. It was supposed to be just an oxygen sensor replacement and ended up paying over $3,000 (about $800 of which was for new tires). Took way longer to have finished than they told us as well. Will be avoiding this place and telling others the same.

Such a worthless repair shop. I normally don t give one star reviews. I took my car in with a known trouble code p0300 and told them the engine was misfiring on cylinders 1,3 and 5. They refused to work on the car without charging the $105 diagnostic fee so I said okay to it. Three days later they tell me they can t find an issue and have no diagnosis. Charged me $105 for telling me nothing and obviously as I drive off the lot the check engine starts flashing again and the car is clearly misfiring and sputtering.Just wasted a bunch of money and time here.

They were very friendly and welcoming, even from my first call over there to see if they could fit me into the schedule for the afternoon. A lot of places don t work on duallies, so it was really nice to find out that they do!

I've been to Firestone twice recently. The first time the job (battery replacement) was completed so late that I ended up picking up the car the next day. After I got home I realized there was a big dent on the driver's door. When I managed to speak to a manager, he was very defensive and denied any responsibility , then promised to send me security camera footage, which I never received. I know that dent wasn't there before, but obviously I can't prove it. Still, I think the situation could have been handled better on their end.The second time I inquired about appointments and was told I didn't need one. When I went in, in the morning, I was told my car would be ready in 1.5 hrs "worst case scenario." It ended up taking the entire day and they still seemed to have trouble getting the paperwork completed and give me my keys. The place is obviously understaffed. I was told, both times, that I would be called with updates, but wasn't, and overall communications were unsatisfactory. There was only one person at the front and at times no one at all, something other customers remarked on, and this person appeared to be busy with personal calls and other activities unrelated to her job.I'm never going back and neither should you.I'm never going back and will not recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely terrible experience. None of the workers here except the person who answered my call, Diana was actually helpful. I was there last week to get my flat tire replaced and the rest of my tires as well. I was at work when I called back the location and asked if my car was ready, to which the man replied I don t know. And I had to literally ask him to check. I get put on hold for 30 minutes, for him to come back and let me know that my vehicle had been ready for pick up for more than an hour, with an attitude. Now I never received a call from them saying that my car was ready, *I* had to call. When I get there, I ask for my 3 other tires back as they were still good. One of the guys asks why? .I don t know, because it s mine?? My coworker had dropped me off and I said they could put it into her car. The guy proceeded to chuck my tires into her car, and walked off. I like to think I was very courteous and polite. It def seemed like everyone there hated their job. Everyone was absolutely rude to me except for the representative on the phone Diana , she was fantastic and kind.

Probably the single worst customer service experience I've ever had. I had an appointment at 11, and my car was not even taken back until well after noon. Then it took an additional almost two hours to get an oil change and tire rotation, making me late for an appointment. Staff was rude and unhelpful throughout, and I was told on numerous occasions they were "almost done" when they were still almost an hour away from finishing. The Firestone across town is much better, but this experience has almost soured me completely on the brand entirely.

Honestly one of the worst auto repair and maintenance experiences I've had in a while. I made an appointment online to make sure they would have time and space in the shop for my vehicle. I brought my vehicle in early afternoon on Saturday for minor routine maintenance, and by Sunday afternoon I hadn't heard a single thing from the shop when I called they hadn't even looked at my car yet and weren't even going to bother to call me to let me know. They assured me they would have the car ready first thing Monday morning, but again they never called me to give me a status of my car. When I called early Monday afternoon they still hadn't even started looking at my car yet. It took two and a half full days for a routine oil change, some brake work, and a repair to my fog lights. In all that time they never even replaced the cabin air filter or air filter I requested. When I asked at check out why it wasn't done, they said it wasn't recommended based on the mileage of my car. Even though I had requested it specifically, and the tech even marked it down as recommended. This was a huge breakdown in communication, scheduling, and customer service. Of the people I spoke to working the counter, Justin treated me like an inconvenience at best and was actively unhelpful at times. Only JP and Diana even bothered to communicate with me.I've had good experiences with Firestone before, but I will never be coming back to this one.

I went to replace a single tire that had low tread. I had warranty on all of them and watched as he checked them all and told me the other 3 still looked good and didn t need replacing. I took an Uber to work since he said it would be a long wait. I received a call at work and was told 2 others needed replacing and it was better to get an entire set. I felt pressured and agreed but after I hung up I thought about it and felt like I was being given the pink tax so I called back and said no to a set and to just replace the one. He said okay but they would charge me a dismounting fee because they had already put them on. I ended up paying several hundred dollars for ONE basic tire. As I waited to pay, the technician came in and made it obvious that I had inconvenienced him. I avoid this place like the plague now. I feel scammed and would not recommend this place.Update: I took my tires elsewhere to have them rotated and the service crew almost cancelled my visit because the lug nuts had been screwed on so tightly. It took them a long time to finally get them off without destroying the thread. I truly feel it was out of spite they were tightened that way.

Horrible service. Waited two hours to have a flat tire fixed. They then told me they couldn't fix it. They then tried to sell me new tire (different brand which is a no-no for ab awd car). I asked for a quote to replace the tire with the same brand. He said if would take a few minutes. After waiting 15 minutes, I asked about my quote. I was told the tech went to lunch and would be back in an hour. They are the worst. I will NEVER go back there.

Let me tell you, I had a turnaround experience here at Firestone. Initially, I waited for over 3 hours to get a vehicle inspection done! Not because there were several cars ahead of me FOR vehicle inspections but because the previous representative, we will call him Mr. J did not tell me that Sunday s were the days reserved for vehicle inspections and the wait would be less time. Needless to say, I was not happy with the extended wait time but I know that patience is a virtue , so I waited patiently. Now, let me tell you about my turnaround experience. Where the initial sell would have only been Eighteen Dollars it became far more than that!!! Why? Glad you asked. Because of a kind representative named, Diana! Diana saw my frustration and she chose to turn my BAD experience into a GOOD experience!!! As a result, rather than this company only making Eighteen Dollars from me and losing future business, they Gained two New Customers (potentially three) and More Business. In the end, Firestone will make, well over, One Thousand Dollars . All because Diana took the time to explain everything to me in detail and then she took a moment to offer me a deal on four brand new tires and an alignment that I just could not refuse!!! Customer Service is Everything, Good People! And I do mean Everything!!! Thanks to Diana, I was able to not only get four brand new tires for myself with an alignment included but I was also able to GIFT my youngest son with an alignment and four new tires! Moral of the story??? Be kind to everyone, you never know if you are entertaining angels unaware! Thank you Diana!!!

Miserable experience. Lady on the phone said they're not taking appts, "it's first come, first served." My tire pressure kept dropping. She gave me a ball park of 1.5 hour waiting time. I went straight there. Ended up waiting from 1p till 615p. I asked about 3 times in that interval for updates and they kept saying your car is next from 245p onwards. They then tell me I need a new tire and they can have it done by 720p. Half an hour later, she tells me she ordered a front tire instead of rear by accident, which apparently is $75 more than the price she just quoted. She pro rate charges me for a new tire (my impression for road hazard warranty was they replace it with an equivalent tire). Anyway, she says it's too late in the day and then no body can pick up the new tire till the next day. Keeping my fingers crossed I can get my car tomorrow and the quotd price doesn't keep rising.

STAY AWAY. i took my car there Sunday Feb 4. Dropped it off around 1. Went back at 4:40 nothing was done. They told me it was a non-repairable tire. Didn't tell me why it was non-repairable. No nail in it for sure. I got no paperwork from them. Then I WAS TOLD MY KEYS ARE IN THE CAR AND DRIVE IT OUT OF THE BAY MYSELF. I asked them to atleast fill my tires with air and was told no. THEN THE BLACK GUY TAKES OFF HIS GREY FS SHIRT TO FIGHT ANOTHER HISPANIC FS EMPLOYEE IN THE BAY THAT SPILLED OUT ONTO THE APRON. all the while a big hispanic female employee just watches them fight. They also kept my wheel lock key. This place is the worst business probably in all of Austin. Ghetto employees for sure.

I d give this place negative stars if I could. My girlfriend s car was towed here so we had no choice but to use them. They filled up her popped tire with air and called to tell us it was done. Then they didn t apologize and said they d fix it. They filled it up with air again even though she paid for a replacement and the next day when we went back for a second time to pick it up it was flat and no new tire was on. 3rd time is the charm? Who knows. There s one collective brain cell here and I d trust a potato to replace my tire before these incompetents.

Terrible experience. My daughter got an appointment for a simple flat tire. Nail in the tire. After three hours, they did nothing and asked her to come the next day. When she arrived the next day, they told her the tire needed to be replaced. It will cost more than $300.00. I asked my daughter to go to Walmart. Walmart removed the nail and fixed the issue. It cost $15.00.

I came here for checking a tire leak last weekend. They also did a full car inspection and told me that my battery electrodes were corroding. They fixed it for me at a reasonable cost. Their technician was knowledgeable and explained the problem nicely. Overall, I was happy with the service. The only thing I did not like was that I had to wait for 3 hours to get this done even after fixing an appointment on Saturday morning.Services: Tires, Battery

I was there waiting for 2 1/2 hours for them to check the air in my tires and check to see if one tire had something in it. They took it back after i sat there for 2 hours waiting, kept it back for just about 10 minutes, then brought it back out to the front. I sat there fir 15 or 20 minutes and was never called by the clerk. I went to the counter to be told, like the 2 other customers before me, that an object was in the sidewall of the tore and it couldn t be fixed. They didn t even say what the object was. Needless to say i did NOT buy a new tire there snd i will NEVER go vack to ANY Firestone ever again.

Don't trust this place $-wise, they WILL overcharge. Over the phone, they were trying to charge me $480 to buy a new starter + $ for installation for my 2008 subaru outback. We were at O'reilly a half hour before looking at the exact part for $190. It's against "firestone policy" for customers to source parts. No, your company is overcharging unnecessarily.Look at the reviews and do research before you decide to come here. Then just don't come here

EDIT: removed one star. The shop removed and lost the wiper fluid cap, and somehow broke a throttle control solenoid so now the truck doesn't idle right. If you have a fairly new car and you're in no hurry to get it back, this shop may be fine. Trust the other reviews on that because there's no way for me to tell.I specifically requested an alignment, new rear brake shoes, and clearing a code because I replaced the broken part and I need to confirm it doesn't come back. The shop stated I would receive a call the same day or next day after an inspection to authorize work. They called 4 days later and said it was ready. I went to pick it up, and was told the alignment was not done due to "underbody rust" which was not present while I worked on it for the past two months.Their inspection also specified that the air filter and windshield wipers should be replaced. I replaced both less than a month ago.Neither of my other requests were even mentioned. No reasoning was given for not replacing the brake shoes, which were accessed and inspected without issue two months ago. I am ordering a scanner to deal with the code and check engine light myself. The inspection notes recommended another shop to complete the alignment, which I appreciated, but that shop has very limited hours and would require at least two hours of driving to get to and from.Front desk staff were polite but unable to discuss maintenance or repair work.

S/O Dan and Rick at this branch! They both saved me hundreds of dollars. Instead of just doing what was asked they took the time to actually bring me back to show me what I was facing instead of what I assumed it was. Great to know it s still people out here that s not just in it to get a dollar from the customer. I recommend their service anytime. And It s Sunday!! Sincerely. N-Route Logistics/Sylvester

$30.15 for tire repair and roughly 2 hour wait on a weekday. The online appointment system doesn t shorten the wait time; I heard it was first-come first-served. Charge up your phone and download some games to pass the time. There s a power strip near the front window.

On 9/6/23, I Went to Firestone located at 1000 E 41st St for an oil change & tire rotation. I purchased all 4 tires from Firestone so tire rotations are free. I called first and was told to bring my car in asap. This facility was able to take me @ 8:13am and get me out by 9:39am. The speed and customer service provided by JP was amazing and greatly appreciated. The problem came when Justin was ringing me up at the register and instructed me to remove my credit card because the machine had timed out. Actually it didn't time out because before I removed my card it said approved. Per Justin, I inserted my card again and now I have 2 charges for the same service. I called & spoke with Justin the same day & was told that one of the pending charges would drop off. It didn't. Both charges have posted.I went to the facility and spoke with Dan (Manager) on 9/8/23 who instructed me to go to my bank & let them know. I informed him that I had already called & they verified there were 2 charges from Firestone. According to Dan they can't see that I was charged twice, so talk to my bank. Today is 9/22/23 and I still have not received my credit. The reason I went to this Firestone was because I was treated very poorly by Kemo (Manager) at the Firestone located @ 7806 Clock Tower Dr. The unfortunate incidents at 2 different Firestone locations has definitely caused me to pause before considering Firestone for any future service.Very Disappointed & Totally Frustrated

Awesome customer service. Feel like they were honest. Only negative took longer than I was told. Very busy shop. Don't think you will get it done immediately.
