This Firestone has left me in an absolute nightmare situation. I almost never leave reviews for places, but I can t let other people come here without knowing what an awful experience I have had. I took my car to get an A/C service back in July of 2023 because my car was blowing hot air. I get a call a couple days later, telling me they dropped my car from the lift. I get conflicting stories about exactly what happened, but either way, my car Is badly damaged and I m told, thankfully, that they will pay to fix the damages.Shortly after the fall, it takes several days for them to get me into a rental vehicle, and my claims person is next to impossible to get a hold of.Fast forward to this August of 2023, when I finally go to pick up my car from the caliber collision. Well, I start my car and I see that now it has two error messages, one of which is telling me something along the lines of drive system malfunction . Of course, Firestone doesn t want to take responsibility and pay for what was a perfectly drivable car when I brought it in for an A/C fix, and is now a completely undrivable car. I don t know how that could have happened, but I have a pretty good guess that falling from a lift could potentially have something to do with it, but who knows, right?? Take that information for what it s worth and make your own decision about whether you think it s worth something like this happening to your car.Service: Air conditioning

Firestone is the worst auto place there is. I paid for an inspection and they failed it because a headlight was out but when I went to replace it, the same light wasn t plugged in fully and became bright again. Almost like they unplugged it to force me to pay for a new headlight and another inspection. do not come to Firestone

I was incredibly inconvenienced this past week as a result of failure in communication and a lack of comprehensive inspection. I recently encountered an issue with my 2017 Ford Focus' ability to start (initially unsure as to battery or parasitic draw) and remain charged. I first had a diagnostic, albeit not comprehensive, conducted prior to coming to Firestone. Initial diagnostic indicated it was not, in fact, a faulty battery. That said, even after sharing with the technician, Firestone confidently concluded it was a faulty battery and simple replacement and fix. I shared that I had a full warranty for existing battery, as it had been replaced within two years, but the shop it was purchased from was closed over the weekend, so if they could confidently fix, I'd be happy and willing to assume the cost of a new battery. Shortly after leaving the shop, within 48 hours to be exact, I encountered the same issue, once again confirming my suspicion that my car is experiencing a parasitic drain. I then attempted to call and schedule another appointment. No one at the shop answered, and it was soon transferred to corporate. I confirmed a 3 o'clock appointment and drop-off, but when I took off work and drove from downtown Austin at that time, I was informed by the front-desk technician they had no record of my request and that it'd be at least week before someone could inspect it, as lead technician is out. I was assured that I'd be refunded the full amount for battery, but that remains to be seen.

A big thank you to Daniel + his team for taking care of me and my vehicle timely, respectfully and carefully. It was a big repair with a quick turn around. I appreciated their kindness and transparency through the process. Fair pricing and great work. Thank you!

Daniel was absolutely the best. He was patient and kind to my brother and I. Very helpful and efficient service. As this was our first-ever tire dilemma, Daniel took his time and made sure our tires were good. Even took time to explain over the phone.Thank you, Daniel! you are the best.

I had a flat tire about 4 months ago, luckily I found this Firestone open on Sunday, so I took my car in and it took them about 5 hours to replace it, no complaints since it was Sunday and I had no appointment.Today I just went in with the old invoice and asked for a quote for replacing the other 3 tires with the same kind of tire that was replaced 4 months ago, hoping to get some discount for buying 3 tires and end of year sale, the guy at the shop handed me the printed quote and said that's the best price he could do for me, so I thanked him and went home thinking I will make an appointment for next week, but after I looked closely, the new quote was even more expensive per tire plus labor than the last one. The breakdown says there's a 5% discount here and there, but also some items were also added that I was not charged for the last tire I replaced.

2 weeks ago I brought my car in for oil change and tire rotation. I told the intake person that my right passenger tire has a small leak. After about 1.5 hours, I paid for the service and was told that there were no leaks and the tires were rotated. After two weeks, my car tire pressure was low again from the same tire. I realized that they did not rotate my tires. I went in and talked to the manager, he agreed to perform the tire rotation, gave me $19.79 credit and found two nails on my tire. I had to buy a new tire because it could not be fixed. My issue here is that they should NOT take my money for the rotation and not doing the job. I am very disappointed at this location (or perhaps the Firestone brand) since I have been using their services for over 10 years. My conclusion is that this (particular) Firestone location should not be trusted.

I brought my car in to get an inspection and was told it would take 20 minutes on the phone before I got in. 1.5 hours pass by and I finally stood up to ask what was going on and I got a reply saying they were waiting for another windshield wiper. 20 minutes later they walk out with my keys and said they got it and I m good and could be on my way. Fast forward a week it s finally raining and I turn on my windshield wipers and one of them is my old wiper! So they knowingly left an old wiper on and had me pay for it. I m lucky I know a bit about cars because if I didn t I would ve never noticed. They swindle people who don t know much BE WARNEDService: Auto engine diagnostic

Excellent service. I needed a state inspection and alignment Christmas Eve (a Sunday) before year end and with an inflexible work schedule. They took care of both the inspection and alignment faster than quoted. I would recommend these guys at the Ben White Blvd location.

Absolutely horrible experience, one of the service writers bowed up to me calling me "homeboy" this place is ghetto and I always question a Firestone only reason why I was here is because my company has a national account with Firestone so I am forced to go. They didn't put oil in my truck and when I asked for the paper work it said they charged me 11 qts or oil for a Chrysler 3.8L that takes 6.0 quarts. Nobody knows what they are doing and could care less about your safety, do not bring your family car here it may be your last trip home.

Super helpful and polite. Service was great! Went in just for tires. They checked out the whole car and informed me that my headlights were out and that I needed an oil change. Got that taken care of as well

Daniel and his team quickly handled my lug nut issue that was incredibly frustrating to deal with. If your job needs are quick to do for a shop, this is the place you should take your vehicle.

Do not take your car to THIS Firestone! Daniel and Noah, that work the desk, are both so rude. Firestone is a partnered repair shop with my car warranty policy. My policy approved the claim to replace my dented wheel/rim. Once the part arrived, I brought my car in. I asked to rotate two tires as well, and when they said that would be extra, I asked what else will I be charged out of pocket. Daniel said that they are charging me $160 for a special order fee. I called my warranty customer service, and they confirmed that they already had an agreement with the shop on what they would pay, and that I was to pay $0 for the repair. The adjuster called the shop immediately, and spoke to Daniel, who said his manager said this has to be charged. I took my car and left. Padding the bill, on top of the amount they agreed to accept from the warranty company, is unscrupulous. I feel like it is important to be able to trust your mechanic. I am not very knowledgeable on auto repairs, but I do know what good honest customer service looks and what a shyster looks like.

Unprofessional from the onset. What a poorly operated business. Offended at the slightest conversation when a WOMAN is trying to understand the options on her vehicle. Absolutely unheard of. That is why people stay away from chains like Firestone. If you are a woman stay away from this place. Sorry but Im not giving business to a rude impatient branch

Not only are customers treated fairly and honestly but there is something about the energy here that is truthfully a pure joy and great foundation for meeting some wonderful kindred Spirits. I never know who I am going to meet, or what fascinating topics we will talk about but I have not been disappointed once Great customer service every time! There is also a charging station under the TV for your phone and little bottles of chilled water in the mini fridge for us. Definitely make an appointment here for your car and indulge yourself with some new friends

My experience: had a 9 am appointment. They opened their doors at 9:35 because of problems with a safe. They took my keys at that point. I sat in the lobby for 2 hours (uncomfortable, hot, not air conditioned) for an oil change. I finally asked when it would be done. The attendant said another half hour, but appeared with the keys 5 minutes later. When I went to pay, they could not locate my gf s Firestone account. They charged me 115 dollars for a 2 hour and 40 minute oil change instead of crediting it to my girlfriends account (which I found out does, in fact, exist).Last time there.

I feel as I was done a disservice. I took my car in for stiff brakes (3rd time this has happened. Firestone replaced the brake booster the two previous times) and was basically told that the brakes were not stiff at all. I pick up the car, pay $10 for nothing, I drive off the lot and the brakes are still horribly stiff. This is a recurring issue that is not getting addressed properly. I didn t bother calling back because I know they won t believe me and/or care. It s cheaper to go to an independent mechanic anyways. Some employees were kind thoughService: Brake service & repair

Made an appointment for a vehicle inspection. Showed up and was told inspections are walk in only and I could deal with it or take my vehicle somewhere else . Don t take your car to this unpleasant and unprofessional business. The owner's response to this is useless. They are clearly aware of the issue and have no intention of doing anything about it.

I m glad I read the reviews, looks like all Firestone s have bad customer services. I rather just take my car to the dealership then dealing with an unethical busines.

Irbin worked on the vehicle and I received updates from Jason. Both were straight shooters and just fantastic persons to work with. I visited them while the repairs were underway and they made recommendations on additional repairs. In addition, they shared with me what not to repair at this time which was great news! They explained everything very clearly and professionally. They were prompt in their service and communications. In addition, the cost provided to me was very reasonable. I found them to be highly credible, focused on doing the right things for me the customer. I fully recommend.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning

I would give this place 0. If possible, no sense of compassion for their jobs will only accomplish the bare minimum at the slow pace possible waste every customer time This is A fleet vehicle I will do everything with my rep that anyone with ARI or my company will not have the displeasure of working with firestone again.

This was definitely the quickest and most pleasant experience I've had to get a tire replaced... The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming to each and every customer that came in and seemed to have a great relationship with the people that were already here waiting. Every other customer I overheard leaving also complimented their services here. Daniel was the gentleman that assisted me and everyone else that was there during my visit, so I hope Firestone recognizes and appreciates his work! As well as the rest of the team that was working very hard. Thank you!

Came in to check a tire warranty and the guy at the computer was entirely unhelpful. Didn't ask about the issue, then played off not finding the warranty. I needed new tires and he never once tried to help me fix the problem.I ended up going to the discount tire less than two blocks up the road. If I could give Firestone a 0/5 star rating, I would. Don't waste you time here just go to discount tire.

I walked in for a state inspection. I understand that shops are not very excited to do these, but it is a service firestone offers. The service advisor was rude, didn t greet me when I walked in and when I said good morning he barked at me. I work in sales and customer service so IKnow what rude looks like. The state inspector doesn t show up for another 30 minutes. Waste of my time.
