I would have said excellent, but when I got there at 7am, I was told that it might be longer because the system double booked, but when said and done, they took me in and recommended some items that needed to be done and they did it right away, didn't not take long at all. I was happy with the service I got. I would definitely go back. The only 5 I gave on survey was that I didn't get my printout of the work that was done. Can I be send one to my email?

Very very disappointed and unhappy with the service. I came in to fix a flat tire and was definitely targeted to be upsold things I did not need. After leaving with not only 4 new tires I was told I would need an alignment to ensure longevity and avoid problems down the line. I was sold the lifetime warranty which sounds ideal if they would honor the service. I took my car back after the alignment had been completed as my steering wheel would shake when I was on the freeway. After expressing my concern to the front desk attendant I was led to believe this would be taken care of- not only did the issue persist but I had to take to another auto care shop only to be told my right rear camber was sticking out. How can my alignment have been checked and addressed and this issue still occur? This is poor practice and bad business. Not only was I scammed into a lifetime warranty I was sold a service that was not being properly addressed.Do not come to this location if you value your money, your car, and your time.I will be reporting to the better business bureau as well.

Cue the beginning of my day, 6 miles into my drive to work and I got smoke coming out of my hood -- neat. This looks great. I limp my car into the parking lot and wait to be scene by the staff. Eric was extremely helpful in walking me through what was wrong, why it had caused the problems I was seeing, and what fixing it would look like from a pricing and logistics standpoint. Eric also pointed out a few other minor things that they could fix, but was not at all pushy in getting them done. I really appreciated his effort to inform me of issues and clarify whether they were needed for the car to function. 6 hours from then and my car is running just fine. I'm beyond impressed that they were able to fix the issue this quickly and effectively! Wesley also helped check me out and he was a pleasure to talk to.

I had made an appointment for a free safety inspection, but unfortunately, upon arrival, it seemed there was some confusion, and a state inspection was conducted instead. Despite scheduling the appointment specifically for the safety inspection and even having an updated inspection sticker displayed, the mix-up still occurred. It's disheartening and quite disappointing. Moreover, the process ended up taking over an hour due to someone else being ahead of me in line, despite having made the appointment. What's even more frustrating is that no one informed me of the situation until I had to inquire about it myself, as I had to return to work promptly.

In good conscience and for future car owners do not come here or if that any of these Firestone businesses- with shotty mechanics and shady mechanical practices - they will con you if not leave you no choice into purchasing more products because of their shady practices-I went in for a oil pan gasket replacement- did the dye test- knowing and confirming with Al the customers service manager and the tech, that it was my oil pan gasket that needed to be replaced and there was no issue with my drain plug- only to be called later that day and told that my my oil pan needed to be replaced- because the threading is stripped on the drain plug- after receiving pictures you could see that it was tampered with- my only option was to buy a new oil pan from them or they would tow it as is to a location specified. I reached out to Firestone s customer service - which Seth Byrd responded with absolutely no help- with a sorry response. all I can say is do not go to this location or any other because they ve clearly done this before to other customers.I hope this helps any future car owners reading this to be weary of this business to shop else where.

Update: Raised to two-star because they at least offered to return my car to me (apparently work on my car hadn't started yet)I should have trusted the 1-star reviews. This location will say anything about the time your repairs will take, just to get you in. Really inconvenient when you plan to wait on the car and a 2-hour wait turns into 7-8 hours.

The staff went above and beyond to help my mom and I. Especially considering the techs stayed slightly longer than usual in order to help get our vehicule up and running and out before closing. Truly a great team. They exceded our expectations for sure.

THESE PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! Honestly, if I could leave no stars I would. They say they ordered a part that my car SUPPOSEDLY needed and it took a week that I waited for this "necessary" part when they said it would be there overnight. Turns out after waiting that week with no car so couldnt go to work and make money, the part that they ordered was the wrong one. I grabbed my car and bounced yelling with my windows rolled down "DO NOT GO THERE!" I was left with no choice. Done.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. Tracy and Louis and everyone else there quickly figured out what was wrong with my wheel and ordered a new one for me right away. They turned my awful day around, please give them all raises. Thank you so much!!

Came off the freeway with a flat on my Porsche. They advised since the tire was shredding off that it would be difficult to tow to Porsche I'd need a flat bed urging I do the tire there. They said they had the tire coming that afternoon. Later I find out they did a $670 install on a non Porsche certified summer Pirelli tire which doesn't match at all. The next week I bought 4 new tires had chucked that one off as it made no sense. Even if I wanted to go Pirelli all the way around Porsche would not put that same model on. They also identified wheel damage and put the tire on anyways without notifying me first even though I get free wheel and tire repairs at Porsche that would have handled it all.Meanwhile up front I was asking to give them my insurance information which they told me they couldn't accept emails than rather ask that I give them the information another way. They didn't want to handle it and put me out $670 on a useless tire. Terrible service.

Even with an appointment it took 4 hours for them to just get back to me about a tune up check and tried to sell me over $1000 in services when I just wanted a wheel alignment. They didn't even do the alignment in that time frame! Never going to a Firestone ever again

Took my car in for one tire, Frances called and told me one wheel was "scratched". The wheel was ruined- After 3 weeks of arguing about the color not being able to be matched from Wheel Technologies in North Austin they finally agreed to match all the wheels. I got them back put them on the car and they were not did the color not match but they did not air up one of the tires fully and got a flat on the way to the airport ruining a brand new tire. Upon inspecting the wheels further Firestone damaged one of the wheels with the Tire Iron AGAIN.Wheel technologies claims they only did one wheel but then later said they sprayed them. The wheels were not pristine but damage was very minimal going into it. You should not be able to see a black finish under grey wheels.Photos are slightly blurry in due to an old phone camera but no mistaking these are the wrong color.Firestone is now saying they are not going to repair the wheels- claim filed with headquartersDO NOT TAKE YOUR AFTERMARKET WHEELS HERE. A convenience of them having the tire in stock has cost months of headaches.

My husband and I have frequented this location since we moved back to Austin in 2019, and have only had good experiences. Honestly, I credit that to Francis (I hope I spelled it right!) who runs the front desk and I'm pretty sure all phone calls. Honestly one of the nicest people I have ever met.On our visit today, going in for a state inspection, I was really impressed with her customer service. We failed, thanks to a faulty gas cap. She took the initiative to show us the tool used for the test and explained why we failed. She didn't have to do that, but it honestly helped me feel less bad moody. Went and got a new gas cap and within two hours (they were busy so I don't expect instant gratification) we got the car back, just as we left her.Throughout the whole thing, Francis was jumping from one customer to another, answering phones in between. All without losing her kind demeanor. I never really interact with the mechanics so I have no idea what their customer service abilities are, but you have to appreciate the amount of effort that goes in to their profession, especially in 100+ degree heat. All around, great experiences here.

I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed with this Firestone location. I've been a customer for about 2 years and never had an issue until I went to this location. I arrived around 4:30pm due to a nail being in my back left tire. Since they were busy at the time, they recommended me leaving my car and assured me my tire will be fixed prior to closing at 7pm. I leave, then around 6:45pm I call them to check the status and they told me they couldn't get to it, it'll be ready by tomorrow. Fine, I have no issues with that. They call me the next day around 4:45pm to pick up my vehicle, so my boyfriend picked it up for me on my behalf. While driving, he notices all of my phone charges (3 to be exact) and aux cord was missing. I inspected the jeep, noticed not only were those items missing but 6 books from the backseat, my Nike platform sandals, all of my change, an old cell phone, my old school lighter from my great grandpa, even my bag of cough drops and lotion. Not only did I have missing items, but my passenger seat was laid down and my backseat was laid down, as if someone had to put the seat down. I made sure to verify that my jeep was locked prior to leaving so I'm sure it had to have been internal. I fully trusted Firestone, but never again! I guess my advise to you, don't bother going to this location unless you remove all items from your vehicle.Service: Tires

Overall, I recommend this store. The technicians are super helpful and they make sure you understand what services your car may need or optional ones that can be waived. My only negative experience is with the manager, Frances. She was off the day I was there, but the technicians were cleaning up the mess she made the day before with multiple clients. I made my appointment with her over the phone and told her I only needed one tire replaced, but she recorded it as all of my tires being replaced. So after waiting for three hours at the location, I went up to pay and was shocked by the total. Thankfully, the technician figured out where the miscommunication/mistake happened and fixed the entire situation. The entire time I was waiting in store, the technicians were dealing with angry customers and fixing multiple problems that had been caused by the manager the day before. This store has great mechanics, but their management gets in the way of their quality work.Service: Tires

TWO horrible experiences with Firestone. On Monday, I made an appointment online for an oil change. I got the email confirmation that the appointment was confirmed. I drove to Firestone and they said, "sorry, but we don't have your oil filter." When I asked about it, they said that I should have called myself to confirm. Why is there an online reservation system then? The gentleman told me the oil filter takes a few hours to arrive so I "should have made the appointment in the morning." I went back home and three days later, I made another online appointment at the Firestone on 35 but I made the appointment at 7:00 am remembering that it takes a few hours. I specifically made my appointment at 5:30 pm to give them time. Again, I got the confirmation that my reservation was confirmed. I showed up at 5:30 and they said, "We were expecting you at 2:30 because we had an opening." I told them that I was working and that time wouldn't work anyway and I didn't get a phone call or anything. "Francis" told me that she loses some staff in the afternoon so she doesn't allow oil changes after 3pm? So, I'm standing there at my allotted time and I said, "So you are refusing to do my oil change according to my reservation?" She said no and said sarcastically, "If you want to stay until 7 we can do it" and I told her I would stay. She then said she didn't have the oil filter and picked up the phone presumably trying to get one. After 2 minutes she said that she would not be able to get an oil filter today. So, I asked, "What would have happened if I showed up at 2:30 like you supposedly expected?" She said they would have ordered one because they will deliver until 5 pm. So, why did she call about my oil filter at 5:45 pm if she knew it wouldn't be delivered? Then, she told me to come back tomorrow at 3pm. I explained that I work and could only come after 5. She said she would not do an oil change after 3pm. I again asked why nobody called me if they couldn't do the oil change. She said she was too busy. I will never go to Firestone again if that's how they handle customer service. Plus, if you look at the reviews, there is at least another one about "Francis" - She's a horrible manager.

TERRIBLE BUSINESS ETHICS...WENT IN FOR A SIMPLE PATCH ON A TIRE. I WAS THE 2ND PERSON THERE THAT MORNING. I EXPLAINED TO THOMAS THAT I HAD TO BE IN SAN ANTONIO BY 930. I ARRIVED AT 730. I HAD AMPLE TIME TO GET THERE. OVER 2 HOURS LATER I WAS STILL THERE. THEY HAD MY TIRE OFF WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF ARRIVAL. ADDITION TO THAT... AS SOON AS I PULLED OUT OF THE PARKING LOT THE TIRE SENSOR LIGHT CAME ON. THEN WITHIN MINUTES MY SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT. MAINTENENCE REQUIRE LIGHT CAME ON. I DRIVE A NEW VEHICLE. NEVER HAD A LIGHT ON THE DASHBOARD EVER BEFORE. WHEN I CALLED TO SPEAK WITH THOMAS ABOUT THIS HE SAID HE COULD TAKE A LOOK AT IT BUT I'LL HAVE TO WAIT. TERRIBLE SERVICE. INCOMPETENT MECHANICS.... SCAMMERS... THEY BREAK YOUR VEHICLE TO GET YOU TO BRING IT BACK. I'VE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF FIRESTONE FOR OVER 30 YEARS. I'M FROM OUT OF TOWN AND WAS TREATED HORRIBLY... PLEASE NEVER BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS LOCATION. IT'S NOW SUNDAY AND I'M SUPPOSED TO GO HOME TOMORROW. BUT I CAN'T. GOTTA BRING MY TRUCK TO ANOTHER LOCATION TO GET FIXED. DIDN'T GET TO MAKE MY APPT. IN SAN ANTONIO AND STILL GOT CHARGED FOR NOT SHOWING UP/ CANCELING IN TIME. PLUS THE EXTRA EXPENSE OF LOSING A DAY'S PAY BC I TOOK OFF WORK.

I use this location often because they are as prompt as business will allow and always work with me on scheduling. Francis was especially helpful this go round, getting two new tires on with all four tire balanced and alignment done within the time frame I needed, plus my state inspection. Great visit!

Called in on Thursday around 11:30 AM about getting my state inspection done and an oil change, Eric told me that i could bring it in an hour and they would be able to get it done/looked at that day. 2 calls later around 6pm finally receive a call back saying that the check engine light is on and nobody that works there can read it that day and that I would have to wait till tomorrow morning when their main tech came in (*only 1 guy in the whole store knows how to use the computer to read and fix error codes apparently). I called back around 12 and of course they have not had a chance to look at it and the woman I spoke with said that there were 2 cars in front of me and then they would get it looked at. Called back again last night around 6pm and they said that nobody had a chance to look at it and that MAYBE it could get done today Saturday. This morning on Saturday i once again contacted them and they said that they wont be able to do it today and to pick up my truck and come back again on Monday, this is after i have left my truck there 2 days (thurs-saturday) under pretense that it would be worked on.This has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional, i understand every company wants business but dont drag your customers along making them think that they will be getting their service completed in an unrealistic timeline, I would have went to 1 of the many other locations that do this work but the employes lied about when they could get my work done. Now i have no work done on my truck and i am supposed to be going out of town which will have to be delayed as my vehicle will not be ready. 1/10 stars absolutely terrible customer serviceService: Oil change

Took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. Had an appointment and was about 10 minutes early for it. Had to wait 3 hours for them to finish the job.. I could tell they were busy, but I thought having an appointment would push me up the line a bit. Not too upset about that though, I know things happenFrances, who checked me in, was very kind however she charged me for the tire rotation when I have a lifetime of free rotations since I get my tires at firestone, and she told me the wrong price for a general inspection. I was told $10 but when I checked the receipt it was $22.50. A little disappointed that more care wasn't taken when pricing items out and accepting payment.Overall everyone was very kind and reccommend the location, but double check the price breakdown before paying.Service: Oil change

I have Firestone brand tires on my truck. I was also convinced to buy the roadside hazard coverage for an added cost by a manager/salesman from Firestone. Today I actually tried to use this coverage after finding a nail in my tire. I brought the truck to Firestone and was told it d be a 2 HOUR WAIT. I mentioned this was unacceptable and asked to speak with the manager. The manager said a 2 hour wait was generous, and it d mostly likely be a 4+ HOUR WAIT! I thought that being a loyalcustomer with added coverage would allow my tire be repaired in a reasonable amount of time. I took my truck to an independent tire repair shop, where it took 10 minutes and $15.I believe I ve been scammed by their roadside hazard coverage. I asked to get it refunded, and was denied, of course. Roadside hazard coverage is not worth the cost, nor is Firestone worth my time, or loyalty, as it seems I m not worth theirs.

There seem to be problems every visit to this store. My car passed state inspection 2 months ago. Now failed at several things. I have to do an inspection twice since my car had sat sometimes last tear for broken down and wasn't used. License plate was charged full year even though it was not in used. After 2 months another License plate dues again.Anyhow, it's not recommended this store location on i-35 frontage road at William Cannon, South Austin Texas.

I came in today for A Texas vehicle registration inspection and At the service counter there was a employee by the name of Thomas that was very nice and very detail to other customers about what needed to get done to their vehicles and very Patient and also acknowledge customers as they approach the service counter.Great customer service and friendly staff and I also Observed that each car they had put plastic on driver side before entering and paper mat as well and that really makes a difference to customers as for myself. Thanks

I took my car to service one of my tires that had been losing air consistently. They took care of me right away and ended up letting me know that I had a nail in my tire and would have to be replaced. Luckily, I had the warranty on my tires so was able to pay a significantly lower price (e.g. $25 instead of $220).I appreciate their willingness to work with me on last minute notice, even though they were clearly busy. I had visited other Firestone s and they said that I had to book an appointment for them to even look at my car.I would put a plug-in for the tire warranty. Highly worth it especially if you run into a situation like mine. Thanks to Thomas and team for taking good care of my car.

This shop is the worst! The mechanics cannot be trusted and they are pulling a scam on God knows how many customers! They tried telling me that a major part needed to be fixed and repaired when in fact, my car is fine, and all they did was spray some kind of chemical to make it mimic like it s tossing grease. I m calling the cops and the news. Hello APD and KXAN, do I have a story that needs to be shared! This place will be shut down!Update: Was told that the District Manager would contact me to further discuss this matter and still have yet to hear back. Clearly Firestone doesn t care about customer loyalty nor that their employees act in such a disrespectful manner and condoned damaging a customer s property to increase their profits. I m beyond upset that a company would ever foster a culture like this!

The technicians don't know what they are doing. I went in for a regular oil change. I got the car back with check engine light on(not saying they did it). Then I went back to get it diagnosed, which resulted in them putting new valves and cleaning some engine parts. 2 days later the check engine light shows up again. I went back in again and they changed the spark plugs, another 2 days later the check engine light is back on again. Wow...Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic

The tires are fairly priced and installed for free with purchase. I didn't feel nickel+dimed and the service provided by their employee Tim was top notch. Very friendly staff with efficient service.
