After visiting a few local mechanics, a friend recommended Dripping Diesel. They are honest, friendly and do a great job. Ryan s the best.

I hate going to a mechanic but I really like these guys it seems like they always go to the extra mile and tell you what you need to do and what you don't need to do I really appreciate their honesty and fair pricing

I will be a customer for life! These guys took care me when I was in time crunch and needed my truck back ASAP. I appreciate the quality of work and the great customer service. All around a great business and I will be recommending them to other folks. I could not find a shop that would fix my transfer case in a timely manner, I was assured by the staff they can get the job done and done right. I could not be happier with this mechanic shop. Highly recommend.

Ryan and Anthony are top notch honest professionals. I dealt with both several times on my 96 dodge Cummins diesel. I would recommend to anybody. I plan on returning in a few months for some small performance upgrades. Even the young lady taking my payment was off the charts nice. Wish I could give 10 stars. You rarely find this kind of honesty, integrity and service nowadays. I m posting several reviews on several sites to make sure everyone knows how great they are.

Wow It was super fast and very direct. I told them my car was having trouble starting, they took it back ran one test and had the problem figured out. Then they were immediately able to fix the problem and get me out of the shop in 45 minutes. All thanks to Dalton Jones, he helped me from start to finish excellent worker and very proficient at his job.

A friend told me about a diesel and automotive shop off Paul s Valley rd. I decided to message the owner (Ryan) to see if he could help me out on short notice. He said to bring it in, so I did.The facility itself is nice, much larger than I expected. The office and lobby are nicely furnished and comfortable. The young lady at the window greets you with a big smile and warm and friendly demeanor. Ryan was the same. He explained approximately how long it would take to diagnose, so I had a seat. In the first 30-45 min the issue was diagnosed and the repair already underway. I couldn t believe it. Ryan explained exactly what was wrong (which I appreciate) and that it was almost ready, they just needed to test drive it (which I also appreciate). Looked at the bill, completely reasonable. I paid the bill and got back to work. It s not often we take time to say something positive. However I just had to tell everyone what a positive experience this was for me. Ryan and his crew at DSD&A are good people. Do yourself a favor and check them out when needed.

I don't trust anyone else with my truck or my family vehicles. Top notch work and quality service. Ryan and his guys are in this business to give you a top notch quality repair and not to rob you of your money for repairs that are not needed. They are a family owned and operated straight forward honest business.5 stars. 10 out of 10.

This place is absolutely great! The staff is really friendly and very professional. They are also very reasonably priced and they do great work. It's hard to find a good mechanic that you can trust, but this is the place. I've been coming to for several years now. I've never been disappointed with their service.

A friend told me about dripping diesel so I took my 6.0 ford to him. Ryan was very knowledgeable and friendly. I am a diesel mechanic myself but I just cant wrap my fingers around the ford 6.0. The work was great, the part were very reasonable and the service was impeccable. Dripping diesel found another life long customer. Keep up the awesome work!!

I have known Ryan (owner) and Alex (coworker) for almost 15 years, my trust in their work is the reason for my loyalty after all this time even before his newly opened shop. Before I would drive way out to Dripping Springs for his work in another owners shop. Dealing with automotive repairs is extremely stressful, especially when you are not as fluent in it s understanding like I am. Ryan cares about customer service! This and only this shop is where I will take my vehicles, I am so tired of being burned at other shops for simple mundane work only to be up-charged and sold stuff you didn t ask for. Thank goodness Ryan finally has his own shop, it s right in between Austin and Dripping Springs so it s really convenient for me. But most importantly I know I m getting the absolute necessary work done and it done well. Never again Firestone!

The service is amazing, the atmosphere is amazing and Anthony and Ryan and awesome to talk to. They find out the problem and get it fixed in a timely manner. Amazing guys. Won t take my truck anywhere else.

The most kindest, professional, helpful, and out going group of people ive ever met. The owner personaly came out to my vehicle and scanned a MIL that came up on my dash this morning. He answered all my questions very throughly and explained the issue codes that were found very well. Cleared my codes and gave his knowledge and expertise free of charge, which is very awesome of them to do (money is really tight right now). I hope this issues does not come back and my codes stay clear, but if they do, (knock on wood) il be taking it these guys for sure. Thank you Dripping Springs Diesel!

Such amazing people. My truck stopped working on friday. They were able to get it in and fix it quickly done by tuesday. I will definitely bring all my trucks into them for now on. I highly recommend them 10 fold.

My front axle broke on my F350 on a Sunday. I reached out via their website and got an email response that night. I dropped off after hours and Dripping Diesel had it on the road again in two days. Prices were reasonable and all the staff were friendly.

After being burned by every mechanic from here to East Austin, I waited 3 months to write this review. I wanted to see if they really performed, how they treated me, and to see if the work was right. You have to earn a 5 star review from me, you don't get it that easy.I'm so tired of being fed a line of bs and talked to like a child. I've thrown away many many thousands of dollars on bad diagnostics, only to have the wrong parts put on, in the guessing game that's plagued this industry.$3000 down the toilet, on my 2001 Cummins 4 by 4. After 3 mechanics couldn't figure it out....solution? look in the air filter there's a squirrel's nest.Many more problems from many more mechanics, too long to list. The last one was going to put a $1000 part on, which was the wrong part! When I questioned him about it he treated me like a child.I then called Ryan, who told me what they needed to do, to fix the problem, that 2 other mechanics couldn't diagnose. My 2001 cummins is back on the road and stronger than everOne of these shops, who I'd gone to, for over 20 years, started doing very sloppy work, after Icomplained about a wrong part put on, I asked for the right part to be put on at a discount. The attendant at the counter told me he'd try to Jew me down a little...despicable! Not to mention breaking my oil sensor off and draping the plug over my battery. I never went back after the Jew comment, and paid another shop to fix.I told Ryan,, that I needed him to assure me they could do the work, because I was ready to spend a lot of money. I said "Ryan, I'm running out of mechanics"!!!Ryan is incredible, he listened to all my horror stories, for almost an hour, before I asked him point blank "can you fix my tricks without misdiagnosting and putting on the wrong parts, or leaving things undone, so I have to come back"?He answered me back in a matter of fact way and with confidence "yes we can". I Immediately took him both my Dodge 3500s and my f250 6.0Finally someone I can trust. Thanks Ryan!

I called this morning to see about squeezing in an oil change and inspection. I know they were booked solid but they still made it happen. Very few places will do what they did. It was done in hours not days. Customer for life.! Great service and prices!!

I've known the proprietor (Ryan) for about 10 years when he was with another automotive group there in Dripping'. While there, Ryan put my nerves at ease back in about 2008 when the "wrench" engine light popped up on my 2005 6.0l F250 at 75k miles (I had saved every penny to get that truck and I was freaking out). He knew exactly what to do, calmed me down, and got me back on the road quickly.I was excited to hear that he and his family opened their own business. I know all of my diesel (and automotive) needs will be taken care of.I moved away from Drippin' about 4 years ago and live in deep far east Texas now. I think my truck has the same problem as back then and was faced with taking it to the dealer, trusting an unknown mechanic, or driving 5+ hours one-way to Ryan. It was a no-brainer.I know Ryan will diagnose the problem and treat my truck like it is his own. That means a lot to me and I will not forget it.I look forward to a long relationship with this company. I'll be driving (or having towed) 5+ hours whenever I need something done to my personal diesel fleet (2005 6.0l F250 (mine), 2013 6.7l F250 (wife's), 2001 VW Jetta, TDI ALH 5-speed (commuter), and 2006 VW Bug, 1.9l BEW Automatic (daughter's)).I highly recommend you take any of your vehicles to Ryan and family. They are great people.
