Fast service, good variety to choose from. But be careful they may add $33 protection plan without asking you if you need it or not. Otherwise a good place

I purchased a used car that had wheel locks on the tires so I wasn t able to remove them to change my brakes. I went to the Kia dealership and they wouldn t sell me a key but also said it would be $50 and I would have to wait at the dealership for 5 hours! I called Discount Tire and spoke with Daniel and he said it would be under an hour wait and they could do it for free.I walked in and spoke with Daniel he immediately grabbed the tools and helped me out in 15 minutes. The whole team was so kind but Daniel was awesome and saved the day for me. Thank you!

As soon as I walked through the door, they greeted me and asked how they can help. The guy walked with me to my car, looked at my tire that was leaking air. Plus he looked at the other tires. He checked the tread wear, said it was fine. I will have to eventually change them later.I sat down in the waiting room. When my car was finished, the mechanic walked up to me, explained that it was a nail and they patched it up, no cost to me. I purchased the tires at this store earlier so a fixed flat is part of their warranty.I found the staff here to be very proffesional and courteous with great services. I will definitely come back here for my new tires.

Usually, I am very impressed with discount tire. I had an emergency while near this location and had to come get my tire replaced. When I approached the sales rep, he said they were actually pretty slow and I should be in and out in under an hour. Excited because I wanted to miss the traffic on my way back to San Antonio. I was very pleased to hear that.Unfortunately, that was not the case. It was actually about an hour and a half before my car was actually taken in. I saw other people come and go. In the meantime every time I ask sales rep I was told my car would be next.I will definitely not visit this location again. I feel as if I was blacklisted because I chose not to do their tire upgrade and buy two tires instead of just the one covered under my warranty..Even after the long wait, I asked if they had checked the air pressure on the other three tires and as it turns out, they have not. I was not at all impressed with her work at this location.

What a wonderful experience. I could not get an appt to fix a flat at my regular discount tire store this morning so booked one online at the Nelms Road location. Booking the appt was easy and when I arrived this morning I could not be more pleased. I was early and taken right in to the bay. From start to finish, Mark handled everything with the utmost professionalism and concern for my driving safety. I could not be more pleased with everything. Discount Tires never disappoints.

Had a nail in my tire and needed a rotation and balance, Mike helped me out.This location is always busy so helps to make an appointment.Got all service done in under an hour, my truck was balanced correctly and no more nail in the tire.Thank you Mike and the technicians at Discount Tire!

Showed up for a low tire, ended up buying two new tires. With 2 people in the 6 car bay and one person in front of me, it took them more than 3 hours to get me into a bay and fixed. Likely won't come to this location again. Never have I had a business waste my time like this, gonna start calling them Firestone.

Wow! The place was super busy but I was in and out in only about 40 minutes...here's the pro tip: order - and pay for- your tires ONLINE....when you get there, they treat you as if you have an appointment - you go to the head of the line...the workers were really friendly and efficient...I highly recommend this place

EXCELLENT SERVICE!!Wish I could give them 10 stars!! Rather than a long explanation, let me just say that I understand why my son has been a satisfied customer for over 25 years and insisted that Discount Tires be my company of choice for tires as well.From the greeting from Sergio to speaking with Chad, the manager, I was treated as a Valued customer. As a senior and a female, I can't always articulate my concerns when it comes to cars. However, Chad allowed my son to speak on my behalf. The outcome was exceptional!! Thank you Discount Tires for making me a very happy person! My 2007 Volkswagen Passat and I love you!

This location specifically because discount tire has been amazing to me. They tried to force me to replace all tires when I came in with one flat tire. They fixed my tire and 3 hours later the tire was flat again. Checked the bolts from my glove box and they didn t use them. Clearly all they did was put air in the tire and told me they had fixed it. And that there was a nail in it. Lies.

The customer service was quick and friendly. As soon as I stepped out of my car, there was an associate already walking over to me. He told me that he could get new tires on my car pretty quickly since there was no wait time, and his words were true. I was out in less than an hour with four new tires. Service was immaculate.However, there is one very big problem. The information screen that faces the customer line is a HUGE safety concern. Displaying a customer s personal information to the public, (including phone numbers and addresses), is a ridiculous thing to do. I ve heard so many complaints over this, and all they say is The company wanted this way . Do better corporate. Add in the fact that associates sometimes leave their stations, the customer s info is left unattended on the screen for minutes at a time

These guys are usually awesome..I appreciate all they do.I had a flat repaired and was told they would do an air check on all my tires and bring me my car. They obviously skipped this step. I went and waited in line to have it done. Not a big deal except I do not like being told something was done that was not. I drive 70 miles back and forth everyday so properly inflated tires are super important to me. I am glad I checked before I drove off.

I was in dire need for a new tire because i had an issue with one of my tires and was basically done with. I originally tried going to Firestone because it was nearest to my location. They told me that they would not be able to help me with a tire today and that i would have to wait till next day. Discount tire was originally going to be my first choice but i saw that they closed at 6 and it was 5:10 at the time. I decided to ask since it was just down the road and they were able to help me get new tires and get the car back up and running even though they had less than an hour left open. I would highly recommend this shop. For sure would do business with them again if needed

I went in today to get air in my tires and to make sure I didn't have a flat. The employee that came to help me was named Mark. He was so handsome with his hair braided and his eyes a tint of greenish brown. I told him he looked like he should be starring as the heart throb in movies. Aside from looking great, he was also very friendly and helpful. He was so polite and gave excellent customer service with a smile. He answered all my questions no matter how silly they may have seemed. Hands down the best experience i've ever had getting air in my tires. I will be back for sure.

This location irritated me so much. Before leaving Austin to go back home, I stopped by here to have them check my tired pressure to make sure they were good for my 3-hour drive. About 20 minutes after I left, my light came on for my tire pressure. Confused, as most would be, I pulled I to another discount tire and had them check it out. Come to find out the ding-dong who previously checked my tire pressure put way too much air in my tire. Now, I understand that this could have been an accident, but if the tire had popped because of the access amount of air, I would have been pissed and possibly been in an accident. Please pay more attention.

Glad i made a stop to check the air on my tires this morning when they opened.My front tires needed to be replaced.Got my wipers replaced too.They broke my sensor, so they took longer than expected but they replaced it so I'm very grateful for that....My rear wiper was faulty, but it got taken care of.Thank you Mark

These guys are a bunch of liars. All I needed was to have my tires rotated and balanced and I could clearly see they didn t do anything but they said they did. My tires had plenty of tread and they just wanted to sell me new tires. Be careful when dealing with these snakes.

This place can never fix a simple nail in tire, every time I ve came here they say if we can t fix it what would you like us to do? I would like you to do your job & do it correctly without up charging something that s not needed. I will just go to a real tire shop that can fix these things and not try to sell me a damn tire every time I go there.

I ve gone to Discount Tire all my life for the service and today was no exception besides the fact i got EXCEPTIONAL service from the manager Stephen who just absolutely understood and took care of everything i needed. I am literally humbled by his expertise. Will definitely be coming back to this location if possible in the future for any and ALL Discount Tire needs.

Had a screw inserted in one of my tires and took it to get checked. Guys were quick and very helpful. Even though it was a hot Saturday, they managed to squeeze me in and patch up my tire. My car drives like new! Highly recommend this shop.

Honest, polite and good work. I had them fix a flat (That I didn t originally buy from them) and was expecting them to tell me it was unrepairable and that I need to buy four more tires. They just fixed the flat, didn t recommend that I buy tires and didn t charge me anything. Passed my integrity with flying colors!

Have always had a great experience coming here. I find most of the front end employees to be honest guys rather than BS salesmen. Service is usually quick and they're very communicative and flexible.I had a leak and they patched my tire up for free instead of selling me a tire even though they easily could have. They are always also very quick to fill my tires up with air whenever I need it.I've also bought sets of 4 tires on multiple occasions and the front end guys always help me to maximize discounts which I really appreciate.My family services the tires for all of our vehicles here and it is very convenient to find past transactions/warranties/tire specs just by looking up our account.Great one stop shop for all tire related needs - many locations around Austin make it convenient and flexible as well.

Usually an amazing experience at discount tire. Unfortunately this time did not meet expectations. Went in and my tire size was not available, that's fine, we ordered them and I was planning to go in today to have them put on. Attendant advised as soon as I walked in I would be checked in and moved to next in line whenever I showed up. Attendant gathered all of my information and the details of the job I wanted to have done. When showing up today to get the job done I was placed at the end of the line after a lengthy wait, and asked what I needed done. I advised it should be in the notes, they looked it up and verified in the notes what needed to be done. I went to do some shopping while the job was getting done and received a call asking me again what needed to be done. After advising it was in the notes, I still reviewed what needed to be done as I'd rather have it done right then trust they can find them. After advising again what needed to be done and letting the attendant know that expectations weren't met as they usually are, attended simply asked "other than that is there anything else?" Usually Discount Tire knocks it out of the ballpark, perhaps it was this location as I've never visited them before, and based on this experience never will again. Was quoted one hour (again after being told I'd be moved to the front of the line when I showed up) checked in at 10:44am, done at 12/45, tire light still flashing. Advised it will go off after driving it a while. Just wow. Ethan was kind and refunded the install fee. Still never returning to this location.
