GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. No communication, gaslighting, extremely poor workmanship.May: Took brand new 2023 Mazda for repairs after accident. Used Geico. Told I'd receive updates 3x week MWF, never happened. only received updates when I called. given a lot of reasons why no communication; email server down, corporate system refresh, guy managing my car quit, etc. Lots of "we'll call you tomorrow" but nope.June: 1st pickup. Car was filthy inside/out. Watermarks, dust/dirt, footprints, handprints, white powder. Bumper had spidering in fiberglass where "repaired", paint had scratches, bubbles, smudges/fingerprints, drips marks on door, bumper, side, hood. White powder residue caked into cracks, seams, handle, inside. Warning indicator lights still on for headlamp malfunctions. Took back for repairs. No answer after a week. Requested rental bec ins benefits ran out. Another week. requested rental, told it was "waste of time" bec car "ready tomorrow." It was not. No answered calls or returned voicemails. Finally went to stand in lobby for explanation. Said they were buffing paint, still not ready. Looked at car, paint better but car VERY dirty, backseat worse bec they were storing parts there? Told paint was hard bec dirt in the air? Another week. Got rental.July: 2nd pickup. Took back again, new issues: paint overspray, chrome trim damage. Refused to leave it, took to Lamar location instead. Had it for two days, delivered dirty with more spidering in bumper. Few days later, 3rd pickup/delivery.August: terrible repair job again..Took to caliber collision to correct issues. Replaced bumper (not repairable), replaced "new" cracked headlamp, replaced stripped interior bolts, repainted everything.September: going back to caliber to fix 2 more issues caused by SK, including poor refurbishing of rim (paint bubbling, warped metal causing tire leak against valve seating) and driver's door window having issues after not being reassembled properly.*there is lobby sign that asks to leave perfect review in exchange for a $100 drawing. cannot trust reviews on Google.* flyer updated for internal survey, not public reviews.*

I ve had a similar issue to the person below on this thread.They had my vehicle die well over 3 months, I went overseas and was unable to pick up my vehicle prior to leaving because of the shortage of parts and other issues..When I returned from overseas to see that my vehicle was horrible.1. Windshield wipers don t work.. (after new glass install)2. Check engine light is3. ABS light is on4. I m fighting my steering wheel while I m driving to just turn into my driveway5. The car was super dusty inside6. Left over parts that maybe needed to be installed left in my backseat.Lastly I m sure they did NOT do an alignment after the repair because my steering is offset about 25 degrees I order for me to drive straight.(You can see it in one of the photos.)Overall I am not impressed with the quality control they presented with my vehicle

I feel generous giving a one star review of this place. We went to SK/ CC because our insurance recommended them. We were told it would take three to five weeks to repair. (My son was rear-ended.) We were also told we would receive updates three times a week (MWF). The first week went well but then it was downhill from there. We stopped getting regular updates. I would try to call and I had to go through a lengthy phone tree just to have it ring endlessly with no answer. Or, I would leave a message and no one returned my call. Finally I decided to just show up in person so I could get an update. I was told that the car was just about ready and should be good to go by the end of the week. Then, nothing. No communication, no update. (We did not get a rental car since the company made it sound like it wouldn't take long, so we were juggling rides minus a car.) Then we'd get a random text saying the vehicle was undergoing "quality checks." Then again, a random text of the same message but this went on for several days with no further details.I spent hours attempting to get ahold of someone so I could get updates. Then, one day when I got ahold of the front desk lady, she tells me the car is finished and has been sitting in the parking lot! No one called me and told me it was done and now they were closing in five minutes! The lady was very nice and offered to wait for me to come pick up the car but still, why did no one tell me it was finished?? When she asked how I liked their service, I told her about the lack of updates and communication. I was told the guy who was supposed to do it was fired. So, no one else was assigned during the several weeks they had the car?After getting the car home, we realized they had installed the wrong model bumper! We were tired of working with SK/CC so we decided to just deal with it.Then almost two weeks later, a friend was following my son home and asked why he kept signaling the opposite direction he was turning? WHAT?? Sure enough, they had swapped the rear blinkers! For almost two weeks my son was signaling right but the rear blinker would signal left! This is a serious safety hazard. How was this missed during the endless "quality checks"?? This required another trip to SK/CC to get this issue resolved.Later, a family member was hit and the insurance company sent him to SK/CC. I warned him about the lack of communication and sure enough, they kept the car for three weeks with no updates. Finally the insurance company called to get an update and SK/CC told him to come get the car that they couldn't fix it! Basically, they took it apart, threw it back together then just held onto it for three weeks before telling him they couldn't fix it. Now, it's worse than when he first took it in!If your insurance company tries to send you their way...RUN!!

As a person who has had to do hundreds of repairs for a large corporation where every minute of downtime counts, let me just say that the estimated downtime for ANY repair is VERY subject to change. All you can do is reassemble it and test it and it usually works but there's often hidden problems that don't expose themselves until the rest of the car is working properly. The job's done when the job's done, until then "We're working on it" is literally the only reasonable answer you should expect IF you want them to do a good job.So a word of advice to all the Karens calling the place four times a day and telling them to hurry up and then leaving bad reviews: That (1) Does nothing to speed the job up. (2) You DO NOT want them to speed the job up. Just let them do their job ffs.Anyway, great job guys. You did a surprisingly fast, better job than I expected & kept me reasonably notified of the progress of the car, and every time something needed to happen, I was the one holding things up, not you. 10/10.

Vehicle was there for repair for a couple months, understandable because of the parts shortages. Problem was the window had a huge double crack in the passenger side of the windsield. Certainly not there previously.When we pointed it out they seemed very prepared to discuss and said it was preexisting and that they had called us several times to ensure we knew it was there before. (our teen age son, not the parents) that part made no sense to me, and I thought it was strange that the employee Lynn said she had called our son to ask about the crack a few times after they took it into intake.After being told it was preexisting, I asked for and recieved the intake pictures from our insurance adjuster and it clearly showed a blemish free windshield on from several angles taken at the repair facility. In that same file, there was photo taken later from inside the shop showing the cracked window, specifically showing the huge crack.I pointed out the pictures of the vehicle to the case worker Lynn, and asked if they would replace the window. They declined again, but without any reasoning or explaination of thier resoninig to do so. The intake photos have undeniable proff that there is not a single crack or blemish, and the windshield upon pick up has 2 8-10 cracks all up the passenger area.I shared all the info with Lynn and asked that they replaced the window, they declined. I asked how they could explain the crack free pictures taken at thier location if they said the crack was pre existing. I did not get and answer as of now.Service: Body & Trim

Let me start by saying this: I can't speak for all "service king" (crash champions) locations. I can only speak from experience at the round rock location on IH35. I always believe in giving credit where credit is due and this latest experience deserves a review. "Please Avoid this place if you have the option" they are reluctant on keeping you up to date with the progress for your vehicle especially if theres any issues. On 17th August I filed a claim thru my insurance @USAA for just a hood/bumper replacement and I was recommended to go to service king round rock location for an estimate as they are a preferred vendor for USAA. Immediately I told the rep I had a bad experience with service king a few years back so would I be able to choose a different collision repair if I wanted to and they assured me it was only just for the estimate and I could pick a place of my choice. After my initial pre estimate service king told me that they would send me and USAA a copy of the pre estimate within 24-48 hrs. After a week of not receiving the estimate I received a message saying USAA sent them a check already and I haven't received an estimate nor did I agree to take me vehicle there. I spoke to the rep and she assured me that they warranty there work, the paint job is lifetime, and I can take it back to them if anything happens to the pain job so I reluctantly decided to take it to service king with faith in USAA. It is now November the 2nd and I still haven't received my vehicle (again just a hood and bumper replacement). Service king has not been communicative nor fully transparent, they have been giving me the run around with different excuses, they don't answer their phones I call back to back for hrs without any answer, so I decided to do a stop by to have a look at my vehicle and get and update. The 1st thing I noticed is they do not have your vehicle's covered it's sitting out in the elements I only saw plastic over some vehicle's with major damages. They just throw your keys on top of all the vehicles outside to the elements I saw my keys in the dirt and a couple other keys as well. And if something happens to your vehicle in their care you are responsible to make a claim on your insurance they also make you sign a form saying that they aren't liable for your vehicle while it's in their care. So keep that in mind if you ever decide to take your car there. I also found out that USAA sent a 2nd check to service king for futher repairs. ( a hood and bumper replacement..... 2 and a half months and still counting) I'm not sure why this is a USAA preferred vendor but they sure don't have the great experience as promised.

I received great customer service, and had my vehicle returned exactly at the time I was told. Aside from having bodywork done after an animal accident they went the extra mile to clean and refresh a headlamp that was not required in the repair service. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! -- I would give 0 stars if it were possible...The customer service is abhorrent. We would receive text messages at intervals that were completely useless and were on the verge of gaslighting. They would barely explain where the truck was in the process but we would receive e the same text over and over, such as your vehicle has moved to reassembly but that was over a week and a half. Sending the same ambiguous text message over and over does not keep the customer informed. It just frustrates. When we did call in to the office we received no real updates but only the promise that the technician will call, which he NEVER did. It was literally 5 weeks of obfuscation while being told that we were being kept up to date and repairs were on time. We were never given an estimated completion date so how were things on time. The main issue that was causing such a delay was the fog light that was ordered didn t fit. Instead of escalating the issue immediately (through proper channels, ie to the manager?), the truck sat for weeks, with no resolution. Yet, we would call in asking for the status and received we are hoping to get it to you by the end of next week. It took for me to GO IN TO the office on a Friday for anyone to act. We are convinced had we not presented ourselves in the lobby, the last minute fix/repair would have gone on for ANOTHER week.They forget they have someone's vehicle. THAT THEY NEED. We kept warning Rhonda that we were losing our rental car because the repairs were taking so long. It didn t make s difference, there was no sense of urgency. Then we informed Rhonda that we LOST our rental vehicle because you took so long. It still didn t make a difference there was still no sense of urgency or care. It still took an additional 2 weeks.When we picked up our truck (finally) the roof was FILTHY (they didn't bother to wash everywhere) and there were 2 large scratches on the front bumper that were not there when we brought it in. They were able to buff our the scratches but where was the QC on the job?Service: Body & Trim

We selected this location to have my wife's vehicle repaired at based on other reviews. My wife drive a Lexus GX460 and loves its Starfire Pearl (sparkly/pearl white) paint. Before I dropped the vehicle off to Service King, I was nervous about how the vehicle would look after the repair. It turns out I had no reason to be nervous at all.Service King did an absolutely incredible job painting the replacement bumper. The body lines match perfectly, the paint is spectacular, the parking sensors, lighting, and headlamp washers are all working great ,and the new bumper perfectly matches the rest of the vehicle. I couldn't be more pleased with the repair.Oscar took great care of me (as did everyone else I worked with) through it the process. They got the job done in exactly the predicted time frame. They went above and beyond with my vehicle, detailing it and returning it to even better condition than before the accident. I am so grateful for the team at Service King and the work they have done for me.I will certainly do business with them if the need ever arises. Thank you Service King!

If I could rate this place a zero, I would. I don t normally do reviews, but I just had to this time because of how bad my experience was.First of all, when they overlooked my car (back bumper repair), I asked for a separate quote to replace a part on the front of my car, very minor. The trainee said I would talk to a representative to go over that but that he would let them know. I never received a phone call for this, and I assumed since it took a month for my car to be repaired it was taken care of.During the whole repair of my car, not one person called me, updated me, or explained to me what was being done to my car or what was taking so long. I had called multiple times, and I was told I would be called back, which never happened.They called me on a Friday and told me my car was ready for pick up, I told them I would be there Monday morning. I asked what was done to my car, and whoever I talked to didn t know, and just read something off to me.Monday: I get there, my car is not out front so I walk out with the front desk lady to pick up my car. She was the only courteous person and the ONLY person who I ever had contact with, ever. My car was filthy (they claimed they washed it), she even said it was embarrassing this was happening. When I asked to speak to someone about the repairs of my car, she paged them multiple times and they couldn t be found or was out at 930 am (Not her fault, I overheard them telling her they couldn t be found). So no one looked at the car with me for an inspection. The front of my car was not repaired like I had requested and the trainee walked up to me and told me We are at max capacity right now with repairs so it was missed. The lady then tried to talk to the manager in the office about getting me a quote (Never saw the manager, the manager never talked to me either), and I got so frustrated I said I was leaving. She then told me the manager was going to email me a quote which, surprise surprise, didn t happen. DON T GO HERE. I wish I just dealt with the scratch on my car rather than bringing it in, not worth it.Service: Painting

I booked appointment two months ago, missed work to bring my vehicle in.I ve been coming here for years, never have I experienced unexpected rude behavior from this white womanThat made a racial slur.Rhonda was very unprofessional and immatureWhen I went to the officeI waited for 30 minutes for her to make racial comments and tell me to come back with estimate.There was another employee in the room across but she didn t seem to care.I don t understand how the shop allows such remarks from there employees!

This is a poorly operated location with individuals who give you excuse after excuse taking twice the amount of time given to complete simple tasks. After calling the expected date of the estimate completion I was told the estimate wasn't completed and they'd get on it and get it right out. 3 days later I called again and was told the same thing. I questioned when I can expect this to be completed and was placed on hold for 25 minutes. After being placed on hold for 25 min by Rhonda as I was waiting for Abel the auto adjuster/estimator I hung up and called back for her to rudely tell me they still haven't completed it because they needed vehicle information as if it was my fault, while no one from this business had called or reached out to obtain the needed information. I was placed on hold again for Abel. After 5 minutes a male answered the phone and said Abel is not around the shop. I asked why did Rhonda place me on hold for nearly 30 minutes? He had no answer. Pure incompetence, poor training and unacceptable customer service. Once I get my estimate I'm taking the vehicle to a vetted quality auto body shop. Last thing anyone wants is to deal with an incompetent auto body business personnel during an already stressful situation. I will make sure friends and family know to stay away from this business.

Hello, I'm hoping to bring some attention to a 13-car catalytic converter theft at the Car Champions/Service King. Thirteen of us had our vehicles in there for repairs and due to the forms you are obligated to sign or else no work is done on your car, now everyone affected will have to pay for whatever their deductible is to even get the car out of the lot. This is a huge problem for many who maybe don't have the funds and now have to pay. The car shop refuses to cover any costs because of the form you have no choice but to sign or else your car does not get fixed. There is a police report on this. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE

Easy to work with and the job was completed satisfactorily. It took a while to get my car back, but that was because the parts took a while to get there. One issue I had was with the rental reservation. The location was never told about it. This likely was the insurance company's fault, though.

Took my car here for repair because my insurance recommended it. They were very nice in the office when I dropped it off and even though I had to wait a month to get it back I was happy with the work. Let me tell you what customer service looks like with this location.... I needed to come from work on Friday to pick up my car before it closed. I was in a lot of traffic and arrived 10min AFTER they closed but they waited for me. I was really grateful. Headed home and realized I left my garage door opener in the rental. By then the store had been closed an hour. I managed to reach someone in customer service. Shockingly they were able to contact someone at the location and the man had to drive over 30min to meet me. I was pretty mortified that I ruined someone's evening but extremely thankful I didn't have to get a hotel until Monday when they reopened. Take your car here! Horrible experience. I took car in due to rear end crash. After getting car back, check engine light was still on. When I tried taking vehicle back Service King did not want to even take a look at vehicle (mind you codes were the same as when I first brought it in). They told me I needed to pay a dealership to get diagnostics to see if it was related. Pretty much the experts told me to take it to the actual experts to see if it was related to the crash that caused the damaged. This was literally days after getting car back from them. They insisted in person (I somehow managed for them to see me in person) that the issue was in front of vehicle by showing me a random YouTube video. After taking the vehicle to actual experts, they sure enough found the leak at rear of car where crash occurred. They gave false info and were eager to just dismiss me after collecting payment from insurance. They half way fixed issues. Now I m having to spend more time trying to get my car fully fixed. Definitely avoid this location. Will be filling complaint with insurance company. Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!Services: Exhaust, Body & Trim

I didn t even have my car worked on here, but I definitely will if needed due to the 5-star friendly service they provided over the phone. I had called about 6 other body shops before calling Service King and believe I spoke with Jay? I was looking for service to repair a box truck. Although their bay door was too short, they were the only shop to recommend me to call a different shop that they knew could accommodate me, saving me more time calling around and getting told no over and over. I really appreciate the help and won t forget this encounter.

I took my vehicle to Service King after the April hail storm. The hail did extensive damage to my new car (only had it a month). Service King determined that the paintless dent repair wouldn't be enough for the roof and hood, so they completely replaced both of those. When my car came out of the paint shop, I got a call from the general manager, telling me that he wasn't satisfied with how the paint job turned out on the roof. He let me know my vehicle would be in their possession a few days longer, because he was sending it back to be re-painted. I've always had great service from these guys. They do the repairs honestly and correctly. My car looks like a new car again!!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Shout out to the staff at Service King in Round Rock at 16604 N. I-35!!!!!! Wonderful team of heros --Ashley, Mary, Betsy, and Jessie-- who saved my bad experience with Service King in Hutto!!! They had the bumper in house when I arrived, they turned it around in 2 days, they kept me informed along the way with smiles and helpfulness, and they delivered my car to my house when it was done. They got my Jeep fixed in a week. To me, that s fast! I got daily text with updates on my vehicle. They addressed other issues I was concerned about and handled it. They even cleaned the inside of my car!! That was a lovely surprise because I had accidentally spilled a tea bag and it went everywhere. Everyone I encountered was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Like so many others, my car was damaged in the hailstorm in April 2021. Considering the thousands of people in the same situation, it was still only a 3 week wait for my appointment. Check in was fast and casual, and my representative even took care of talking with the car rental place.I picked up my car today only one week later. I walked in, was greeted and handed the keys. Left the rental on-site. Easy-breezy.Let me tell you.... the car looks BRAND NEW, outside and INSIDE! I live and work in the country, down dusty/muddy roads so exceptionally dirty shoes are a constant. And I tote around a hairy drooling (and often muddy) dog too.Cleaning the inside of my car to look 'new' was seriously no picnic. :-) But they did it anyway.So... WOW! I was so not expecting that! It really made my day!That kind of service takes a TEAM.Thank you customer service ( you well-oiled machine you).Thank you techs of auto body wizardry.Thank you exceptional (and brave) detailing crew!Though my insurance paid for it (shout out to @StateFarm and @SeanWhitehead), I believe their prices to be competitiveService King IS King in my book. Had my truck taken here when it needed to be fixed and I would have to say this is the best body shop I have used. They employees were very professional, honest, and communication was very great. The manager Joey and employee Erich both made my experience very good and were very good at telling me exactly what to expect and what had been done. I would definitely recommend them to any of my family and friends. Awesome job you guys!!!

Service King did a beautiful job of fixing the damage on our vehicle. It looks almost brand new. They'd buffed out some minor scratches on other parts of the vehicle too! They'd also vacuumed and cleaned the inside of the vehicle. Everyone was very friendly, and they gave us a detailed tour of the vehicle to explain what they'd done to fix the vehicle. Very much appreciated.One little bump was that we were not told that our vehicle was finished until we heard from the rental car company, which stated that our insurance was no longer paying the bill because our vehicle was ready three days before. When I called Service King, they said that they had texted me, but I did not receive a text, nor a follow-up phone call. I was able to resolve the situation with my insurance company by letting them know we didn't know our car was ready. And we returned our rental vehicle and picked up our car the next day. Other than this glitch in communication, we were very pleased with our experience.

I was in a car accident and went to Service King in order to get an estimate on my car. The insurance company approved going here even though it wasn't in network. It did mean that Service King would have to email in documents. I had the email address and all the information needed regarding my estimate. The worker told me it was too complicated and required more work. He wasn't willing to send an email in order to keep my business. Seemed rather lazy and unprofessional to me. Save yourself the trip, gas and frustration and find a more professional garage with a better work ethic.

Jaye, the csr - also sits in the front was rude over the phone and in person as if she was trying to humiliate me or as if i didn't know what I was talking about. They mentioned to me that there only taking claims from insurances; long story short i set everything up a month in advance and they called me to let me know they cant accept the insurance that is paying for the accident because its not someone who they work with; basically rejecting business. Mind you, I've been told them the insurance that will be covering the damages.Very unprofessional, rude, and this is not acceptable.At this point i am very happy they are not fixing my vehicle.
