Over 3 weeks, and $700 later, THIS is how my truck was returned to me. Door panel in the back, on top of the rear seat - now detached. Insulation peeled back and left as is. With the screws, washers, and bolts just rolling around in my floor mat.I have to take it somewhere else just to put it back the way it was before I dropped it off. Then, to be told since it's Friday, and Veteran's Day weekend, I can wait until Monday to get a call from the service director. Forget my weekend plans, I'm just a Purple Heart recipient. It's not like I went to war or anything. What do my Veteran's Day plans matter? We wouldn't want to disturb the boss or ruin his plans. How can you possibly try to justify returning a vehicle to a customer in this condition?!?!?! Four weeks to get my truck back in pieces. I could have let my neighbors' four year old do the same thing free. I didn't take my vehicle here for a lack of skills, I brought it here out of a lack of time. Now I'm out the time I've lost, and the money on my rental. What a bargain!NEVER COME HERE FOR ANYTHING!!! I only left one star because the scale doesn't go negative, and you have to leave one star for a review. Unbelievable, truly.

I took my vehicle in because of a recall notice. I had an appointment and delivered the vehicle right on time. They kept the vehicle for one week. During that time, they did inspections of two recall issues and determined that repairs were not needed. That's it. Yes, it took one full week for two inspections that could have been done, I'm guessing, in two or three hours. Transparency was poor as my service advisor could not seem to find out at times what was going on with my vehicle. I have had routine service here before with no issues. But this visit was so frustrating that I won't be back.

Want to first note that I purchased my 2014 F150 at Covert and have all of my maintenance & repairs performed there. Brought my truck in the Thursday before Christmas with an unexpected, significant power (non-electrical) issue and was initially told there was a backlog until the following Tues. However, my service advisor, Will H., recognized my long standing history and advocated on my behalf to be moved up. He was under no obligation to do that, but I sincerely appreciate his extra effort and why I am writing a review here. Sure, going to the dealership may be more expensive, but my time is worth more. Repairs took 1.5 days...it was that extensive.

HORRIBLE!!! They don't post maintenance prices online, don't give you an estimate, then try to charge you a ridiculous amount of money for basic service. The cashier calls you over to pay without even going over what was done, general health of your vehicle... nothing. They practically called me a liar when I told them another Ford dealership in Austin charges less than half what they asked me to pay. Go anywhere else.

I visited this location for the last time almost a year ago. These scumbags failed to fix my vehicle's air conditioning twice. The first "fix" cost me almost $2K if not for a worthless discount that was less $100. I was told I didn't have enough Freon so they put some in. I had cold air for a month. I stupidly decided to trust them again and this time they made some excuse about having previously overcharged my Freon. Once again this second "fix" lasted a month. I was mad when I brought it in a third time and they had the nerve to accuse me of not being willing to work with them. Well, they ended up being right about that.Firestone succeeded where Covert Ford failed and now my air conditioner is fixed. Covert Ford had tried to tell me I'd be waiting months for other service providers to give me back my vehicle. Firestone got me back my vehicle in less than 48 hours where as I had to wait almost 2 weeks for each failure at Covert Ford.Eventually I'll want another Ford when my current expires beyond repair. But I certainly won't buy from these leeches.

First time trying their "Mobile Service", got it done at work, it was great. Really convenient, Shawn was great! He answered all my questions, friendly, overall a good experience.

Do not waste your time or money. It took over a month to get my car back for basic interior upholstery repair (factory issues). When I got my invoice back it said they spent under 3.5 hours actually working on my car. The entire time communication was very poor. No one ever followed up on my calls and I was provided conflicting information when I spoke to people. Never ever again.

Getting a quote from the advisor was like pulling teeth. Finally just able to get quoted our labor rate is $220/hr and we ll have to see if we have the parts once we tear into it. Thank you for not considering the value of my time.

When I first purchased my truck here everything was amazing! They went above and beyond for me. From the time I bought my truck to getting an oil change after. Literally rolled out the red carpet. Now, absolutely horrible. They don t seem to care if they help you with anything! I have warranty on my vehicle and they tried to talk me out of getting it fixed there. I get the run around any time I call for anything. Extremely disappointed in how this company has turned out. Covert has historically been a great name, not so much any longer.

Never thought I would be writing a review for an oil change and tire rotation, but WOW the mobile service from Covert was amazing. Shawn deserves a shout out. He was on time, did the services I has scheduled and did not try to sell be a bunch of stuff I didn't need. Spoil yourself and call them for your next oil change.

The worst experience of my life so far with ford!I have been living in the US for 9 years, I have owned Ford cars since the beginning. Ford is very nice and helpful when buying a new/used car! But their service is outrageous! I would need a warranty repair because of the poor quality transmission! I've been to the service center 3 times since December, and I'm still waiting for someone to look at my transmission! This morning, one of the employees told me that I would be better if I trading my car because there is a long wait for the parts and the transmission issue is expensive.... I find this kind of customer service attitude outrageous! I'm supposed to leave my car here in the service station for weeks, but ford refuses to provide me with a car for that time! The service opens at 7 am. I was here at 7:20 and I still have to wait 2 hours for an oil change! I also wanted to change the oil in my transmission, the service employee told me not to change the oil, because it could cause a bigger problem/damage in my transmission! The best thing I can do is to trading my car for another car! I think it's time to see what chevrolet has to offer me. Thank you ford covert

I kinda owe Jenner an apology. I came in with multiple recalls and only really had the time to resolve one. Unfortunately, due to unforseen delays, it took longer than I expected, but I'm very thankful for the help.

Took my car for a 80k miles service. Once finished they said everything was good and passed all inspections. When we went to pick up the car from their lot, it would not start, the battery was dead. They looked at it and said the battery was bad (two hours earlier they said the battery was good). We left with the card, some time later the brakes start acting up, one of their techs comes to our house to look at it and said they were in terrible condition, and didn't understand how it passed, it must have been a mistake from their part. Called their service department and they did't acknowledge any of the problems we had in the past. One last thing, the tech that looked at the car when he checked the brakes, also checked all fluids, the day after out of nowhere we have a leak. Again would not acknowledge the issue, they said that they can tow their car to their shop look at it and if they were not at fault, I have to pay the tow! SMART!

I had a pretty good experience. For a warranty transmission repair, it took 4 weeks. I felt that was pretty good, considering most dealerships only take so many cars per day, and some won't even take cars with transmission issues. Covert Ford took me in right away. They diagnosed the problem and set me up with a rental car, since the replacement parts wouldn't be in for 2 weeks. All in all, a pretty good experience. The only thing I would say that could be better is the communication. There could be better communication and more frequent updates. But other than that, it's a solid place!Service: Transmission repair

I had a mobile service done to my 2016 Ford Cmax and both the scheduler, Jacob and mobile tech, Mark, were amazing. I had Jacob arrange the mobile service for me as it was the most efficient way for me to be able to have the repairs done to my vehicle. The Technician, Mark, also called me beforehand to check in which I really appreciated as I have never had a mobile service done. He let me know what he needed from me and before I knew it my service was done very quickly and I was very happy with the great customer service and repairs done. These guys rock and I will definitely consider taking my car back here whenever I need services done again.

I was thrilled to find out Covert Ford was offering mobile servicing for my Mustang. In the past, I took advantage of the shuttle service which was good. But, having someone come to my house and do my oil change, brake rotation, and multi-point inspection was so easy and convenient. The technician was on time and very professional. I will definitely use this option in the future when I can.Service: General repairs & maintenance

1 star is too high. Worst service department I have ever dealt with. Brought truck in for a few non engine repairs. One of which had been fixed twice already. 2 weeks later, while talking to me like things were getting done, not a thing had been done to my truck, and they are saying a problem that the truck has always had, is not covered by warranty, so I will have to pay for that .extortion? Picked up my truck with not a thing fixed. Not even a factory recall repair. I would NEVER, EVER bring my truck or car here, I will also never buy a vehicle from COVERT dealerships!

The service at this dealership is consistently poor. When I bought my new truck from them the sales team sold me on how great the service department is and a loaner vehicle will be available to me for any lengthy repairs. That was a lie. I asked 3 times for a loaner for engine work and denied every time causing me to rent a vehicle for weeks at a time.Even with appointments scheduled weeks ahead of time they kept my vehicle or claimed they would need to keep the vehicle for 2-3 weeks to have the engine diagnosed and then maybe another week or more to get fixed. This has been there standard quote since Jan 2020 until Jan 2023.I called my local Firestone auto shop and they offered to make the same repair and have it back to me in 2 days with a slightly better price. Why can a Firestone/Lambs (local auto shop) who are just as overwhelmed with business do the same repair without having to keep it for a month? The answer is poor management at Covert Ford Service. Primarily Jerry Hernandez is the service manager who is the issue and a man of poor character.I took my truck in twice for an engine issue which resulted in a multiple week waiting game for an engine diagnostic to occur. Both times I received my truck back the horn did not function properly (weak sounding) on my 2 year old truck. It happened within 6 months of each other. What did Jerry do? Nothing but waste my time over days to see if he would do anything and of course he did not. Both times refusing to repair the horn causing me to pay $1560 in 6 months for 2 horn s replacement.I highly recommend not dealing with Jerry or this dealership.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

I wish I could post a review on the actual service, BUT I can't get scheduled. On 02FEB2023, my service rep responded to a text saying I was put in the queue. Since I only have one car, I cannot have my car sitting on their lot for days/weeks waiting for service. I asked her to confirm I was in the queue, but to date and after multiple texts and calls, I have not heard back. I understand they are busy, but a simple acknowledgement of my messages would be appreciated. Communication is key and Covert Ford Service Department communication is lacking in abundance. I bet if I was calling about a new car, the response would be immediate. It's extremely disappointing.Service: Oil change

After making an appointment 2 weeks in advance, I was told over the phone the repairs to my vehicle would take 4-5 days. When I arrived at covert for my appointment, they told me 2 weeks. I tried to explain to them that over the phone I was told it would take 4-5 weeks. The man I was talking to was not professional, rude, and didn t seem like he cares at all about his customers. Do not take your vehicle here, terrible service.

If I could rate it less than one star I would. Made an appointment to get my daughter's oil changed, tired rotated and state inspection and overall inspection as she is driving the car across the country for college.First, the service was awful. I had an appointment but it took hours for them to get to it. Then they kept forgetting me and I had to ask about it. I finally get the car back and the printed inspection back. According to them, it passed everything with flying colors.Since my trust was now so low with them, I took it to Lamb's Automotive to have it checked out, a second opinion. At Lamb's they found the water pump was leaking, the fuel injector was gunky and not set to drive 2000 miles to school and three belts were cracked and needed to be replaced. I trust lamb's - I had my car checked there for the drive too and it passed everything so they, unlike Covert, are not trying to pull one over on you.Several days after our Covert visit - with the clean bill of health - I got an email stating "during your visit, we recommended an important vehicle maintenance for your vehicle... brake linings require immediate replacement." Of course, they gave me a $20 coupon towards this "crucial" repair. First of all, no one talked to me about the car or any needed/suggested repairs, second, the print out they gave me showed the breaks as "good" and lastly, Lamb's did not find any repairs needed on the breaks.Do NOT take your car there. Do NOT trust anything they say.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Oil change

Asked them for help with an issue with my alarm. They basically blew me off and didn't even look or test out the alarm. This place is ghetto and no help.

Excellent Service...We took our 2012 F-250 into Covert Ford for a recall back in November of 2021. John Longmore took care of us. He had the diagnostics performed which showed a problem with the EGR cooler, so we had it repaired. In April of 2022, we received a recall letter for the EGR. We followed the instructions and took the original receipt into John who took it from there. Although his original request was denied over an issue with the diagnostic codes, he followed up and got it worked out.John took excellent care of our truck when we first took it in and continued to go the extra mile after the fact. Thanks John.Service: Auto exhaust system repair

So I m driving my 2014 Ford Fusion down the road. My daughter in her carseat in the back. The back door suddenly flys open. The latch broke on the door. I was panicked and angry and luckily there were no cars around at the time. I was able to get a safe ride home with my daughter. I called the service center to get it fixed and they scheduled me an appointment 5 days away. I wasn t happy about that but maybe they were backed up. I pull into the service center and a representative comes to my window and says sorry sir we don t have anything for you for a few days. I asked for the latch. I could instal it myself. That was denied. Sternly this man stares at me through the driver said window and said I needed to make a decision. I said I needed a minute to figure out what to do. He stared at me for 3 minutes straight until finally I was uncomfortable and pulled away. Within 2 hours I had purchased a new vehicle from a different company because I could not stand by Ford after being a customer for 19 straight years.

Car was turned in after an error code read a misfire on a cylinder. Car wasn t even looked at for an entire week even with that code and knowledge that it was probably a quick plug/coil replacement under warranty. They brought the car out by mistake once and there simply is NOT any communication.
