Don t ever do a walk-in. They won t give you an update, they miss the quote and be offended the entire time.I sat around for 4 hours on a 2 hour quote, every time I asked for an update, I was stared at for a minute and replied, I don t know! After the store closed at 9 they started on my two tires. They then came out and told me they couldn t do it, the stems are broke on my old tires. Boiling over inside I told them to give me my keys and a refund. When he returned I asked him how a tire store doesn t have stems, his answer was, we do. Confused I asked them why would you tell me you couldn t do it? Who leads with that? It s like they were messing with me. Horrible experience and I wouldn t go back ever for the $50 you save.

If you go for a tire rotation, note the tire location before and after they perform the rotation and compare it with what your tire manufacturer recommends.First time coming to this Costco Tire and they did the rotation pattern for a front wheel drive car even though my car is AWD.I let them know the issue and they blew me off. Saying they didn't do that rotation pattern and if i really wanted it fixed I'd have to wait a few hours so they could fix it.

If it had 0 stars I would definitely give it.I made an appointment for tire rotation service one week ago, and today I waited with my two children for about an hour, only to be told by the employee that they couldn't rotate my tires because my car didn't have a wheel lock key. I was puzzled because I haven't used that tool since I bought new tires and had them installed at Costco last time. I don't even know where the tool is. When I spoke to the person who identified themselves as the supervisor, I explained that the staff must have forgotten to put the key back in the tool kit after they finished installing the tires, which resulted in it being lost. I asked how to resolve the issue, and he told me to buy a new one from the dealer. I'm very disappointed in their service. Why should the consumer pay for their mistake?

I rarely leave negative reviews and I actually love Costco as a company but we had a really negative customer service experience in the tire department. After pre-paying for two new tires and their instillation we got a call from the service department stating that they would not put the spare back on due to concerns that the cable was not dropping easily enough.I gave them the verbal go ahead do whatever they needed to get the spare tire back on as that is part of the new tire installation service. They said they would call back after talking to the manager and Never did, and simply threw the spare in the back of the car for me to deal with.Thankfully I am capable and was able to get the spare put back on myself but what would my mother or daughter have done if they had been left with a spare taking up their whole trunk and no way to put it back on.Basically, I pre-paid Costco for a service which they did not deliver, and then alerted the manager Cesar about the situation who chose to do nothing and stood by the position that Costco s policy is to cover their butts/limit liability over providing decent customer service.I m very disappointed in the experience.

I got 4 new tires from here and loved the service and the warranty that comes with them! I have always received great service they have helped me twice with emergencies with flat tires from nails on the road and they have been great and fast with their service. I have gone both times with no appointments so there is a wait but I still appreciate that they are able to make time to get me in and usually within an hour or 2! 100% recommend.

Next time I ll stay with Discount Tire. Went for warranty work and I was advised since I didn t have an apt I d be there pretty much all day for them to get to it. The best apt they could give was a week away. Hope my tire lasts that long.

My review is specifically for the tire department. They took an appointment to replace 4 tires last week and told me it would be 4 days because that was the earliest appointment. At the tine of the appointment, they checked to make sure they had the specific tires I wanted... That I had spent hours researching and reading reviews on... And they told me they had them on hand and would be ready for me when I got there at 4 on Tuesday. We'll, at 4 on Tuesday they told me they do not have the tires after I waited days for this appointment. I am going on a trip and did not want the "other tires" they were offering that cost more and that I had no information about. They don't know who created the appointment so no one is responsible for lying to me or selling the tires they had for my appointment to someone else. I won't do business with them anymore because they are very unprofessional. If you're going to get a appointment for tires at Costco South make sure you get the name of the person... ask them to write your name on them... Because they are too busy too care about you and your appointment. I'd recommend someplace else.

Just do yourself a favor don't go here. Promises of free tire rotation and puncture repair is just for boosting tire sales thats it. I have Purchased 4 tires from Costco 2 each time. When i purchased the last 2 tires they put those in the rear wheels, telling me new ones goes there. After some wear we can put those in front. Well I went there for a rotation, then wear in the front tires are too much they cant touch it due to safety issue. Fact: If the front tires are worn more, the likelihood of skidding is higher. so if we rotate the back tires with more thread to front that actually improves safety. Whats the point in arguing with some racially profiling Costco Tech. I said that because the tech noted the car back in November and he decided not to do any work on it unless we buy tiers. Well i didn't go for tire rotation in November. That's the caveat, nor that i am informed about tire rotation. Never buying any tires from Costco. Also want to remind Costco that the law is above Costco's policies.Rest of the hustles of scheduling and waiting is just other annoyance.

I ve been buying tires here since this Costco opened and have never had an issue. I go online and research which tires fit my car, order them, and make an appointment to have them put on. Easy. And I can shop at Costco or nearby stores while I wait. I wish they also offered alignments but it s not full service, just tire sales and installation, so I get it. But it s also nice to be able to get my tires rotated while I shop as well.

This was the most seamless, and incredible service I've had in all of my years of automobile ownership. Joe was so kind in helping me figure out my costco membership stuff (bringing my history over from an old account to my new one), he answered all of my questions, and got me in as a walk in within just a couple of hours. The rest of the team was also very nice, and I was SHOCKED by how affordable all of this great service and brand new tire were. I'm certainly a customer for life. Thank you.

I needed to swap wheels between 2 cars. They refused "because my tires weren't bought in Costco". Even though I'm a Costco member and leave hundreds of dollars in their store. I think this is ridiculous - to refuse to simply remount wheels and earn money. These big companies where nobody cares are getting out of hand!

So my experience here was not bad, just disappointing. I wanted to buy a full set of tires since Costco was running a special... I was looking for a specific tire size and was turned away because it was not the exact OEM specifications. I get corporate rules and liability, but other companies (such as Discount Tire) wouldn't blink an eye at this. They also refused to repair a tire of mine that had a screw in it. Again, rules, I get it. Just lame. Go to Discount Tire.

You can rely on CostCo brand but not Tire Center. The folks who are working at the tire center, they don t look like CostCo employees. They attitude and dialogue is not warm, welcoming or whatever you call.I changed my tires and sensors last weekend, but TPMS light was still on after the service and my car came up with a new warning light which is passenger airbag is off.I stopped by after driving 20 miles cause they told me you need to drive 10 min at least 25mph for TPMS light will off.So I came back and talked the guys at tire center and they told it s not our fault for the airbag sensor.I filed a claim but the arrogance of staff, I will never forget!Anyway that shouldn t be the conversation with customer at least for CostCo!I will not change my tires here again!

Called Costco to schedule an appointment to get my car's tire repaired. I asked how much they charge members to patch a tire with a small nail in the middle of the tread pattern. They said free for members! Yay! Big thumbs up. Went in for my appointment and after 30 minutes of shopping around the store, the tech called me to say that the tire was not repairable. I asked him to show me as I used to be an ASE certified master automotive technician. His reason for not wanting to attempt the repair was that the tire was older and had more wear on the inside edge. No the rubber wasn't worn through and there were no tears in the sidewalls. The tire would pass state inspection as it still has enough tread. I know for a fact that the tire is repairable but they obviously don't want to be liable if something goes wrong. I asked him to attempt the repair anyway and assured him that I would but a new set if it didn't work (I knew it would). He said no.Big thumbs down! Thanks for wasting my time Costco! Any tire shop doing work for pay will fix it or I may just plug it my self.

San was extremely rude and irritable. Very surprised Costco would allow someone that unfriendly to be responsible for customer service.

I bought my tires here last year, and anytime I've needed reassurance that all is well, they were great. When in this time put a slow leak had the tire checked nail removed and patched and was on my way within an hour.

If you planning to visit or change tires @ Costco then few first words. They don't have most brands in market. One of the tyre in my car got punctured ,they informed they don't have same brand tire and the brand they have though cheapest isn't heard off before. So ended up visiting Walmart to replace tire. But i do stop by to do air check sometimes.

I went to the tire center to purchase a new car battery for my Toyota Highlander. Kyle went above and beyond The regular call of duty to help me out. It is rare now in days to meet someone who is truly a good, honest person. Best customer service hands down. Thank you!

This is probably the worst tire shop and experience I have ever had. They are so unhelpful. I agree with the other reviewers on here and will definitely go elsewhere. Not worth the hassle dealing with them at all.

I waited 4 hours for a call to tell me that my car was done but I never recieved a call. so I went back to Costco to find out if my car was done. There was only one person working the desk and a line of people. I finally got the keys to my car. When I got out to my car there was a shopping cart that had gotten pushed into my car now I have scratches and dents in the passenger side of my car. I will not be taking my car back ever again.
