They were courteous and thorough but they marked up the cost of parts over $400 from what the dealership charged. Advance Auto Parts did not charge to run a diagnostic on a check engine light, they charged $159 and the results were the same. Sadly, I cannot recommend them for major repairs.EDIT: The reply doesn't quite ring true. The dealer told me that if I walked in and bought the part, it was over $400 less than what they quoted me, and I told the rep that and he had no good answer for me.

I have gone to this shop for oil changes and other extensive repairs many times. The whole team is extremely welcoming and knowledgeable from Michael to Wes and James. You can tell that the team is under great leadership with Mark and Shannon leading the way. The technicians are also very thorough and I always feel well taken care of when I visit this location. I will not be taking my car anywhere else. I highly recommend Christian Brothers Brodie Lane. You will get an honest and fair assessment of your vehicle every time. Thank yo for always assuring that I have peace of mind after leaving to safely get back on the road. :)

I am extremely satisfied and happy with the level of service and professionalism that was given to me at Christian Brothers Automotive on Brodie, I know absolutely nothing about cars, I was having a little issue with starting my vehicle, I took it in, completely expecting to be charged a lot, come to find out all it was was a clogged Engine air filter, they were extremely thorough submitted pictures of every little detail, pictures of every little inspection all throughout the process, kept me completely informed, and completed the work and fixed my problem. I could have easily been taken advantage of for my lack of knowledge, but they dealt with me honestly and righteously, I had a 100% complete diagnostic test of my vehicle, and after all of the photographs and all of the diagnostic tests, on all parts of the vehicle, I was billed for an air filter and diagnostic testing only, the technician letting me know that my car is 100% perfectly fine and everything satisfactory to the manufacturers specifications. I 100% recommend this shop on Brodie Lane, it's an amazing feeling to know that you have been treated fairly honestly and righteously, great job Christian Brothers Automotive Brodie Lane.

James was an excellent service provider! My vehicle was in and out in 2 days with a cracked gasket. Very fast service! They gave me a very detailed quote with required services and some recommended. Communication was open and honest about the needs and timing for my vehicle!

I m so impressed with Christian Brothers! I came in for a possible oil leak and some steering wheel issues initially, but they did some more diagnostics on my car and unfortunately found a lot more work that needed to be done. Wes and the team truly all went above and beyond for me, I felt so taken care of and valued not just as a customer but as a human being! They do synchrony payments for those that may need financing options which is so nice! They also offer a shuttle to get you to and from where you need to go afterwards. I won t take my car anywhere else, as a woman it s valuable to not feel taken advantage of in this area! They even went beyond that to really educate me and help me understand what was wrong and why it needed done. Their diagnostics are also super in depth - they take photos and have in depth descriptions of the issues. As you can see, I can t say enough good things about Christian Brothers! Wes is THE BEST, and was so kind and supportive - he made the whole experience better for me despite how stressful and discouraging it all was! So thankful!

I went to the Christian Brothers to diagnose a noise coming from the front end of my Toyota Highlander. They correctly diagnosed the issue as a worn U-joint on the drive shaft. This required a new drive shaft to be installed. No problem.The issue I have is the amount that they were trying to charge me. Most people don't know much about cars and just pay the bill because they don't know any better, and the guys at Christian brothers seem very nice and honest.They said a new drive shaft would be $2000, and the labor to remove the old shaft and install the new one would be $650. This seemed wildly overpriced to me. It only takes about an hour to remove the old drive shaft and put a new one on.I ended up calling Advance auto parts to see how much a new (non-aftermarket drive shaft) would be. They said $1500. That's the consumer price, Christian Brothers would most likely get that part for cheaper than $1500.I told Christian brothers I thought their prices were way too high and took my business elsewhere.I ended up finding a new aftermarket drive shaft for $350, and I called up the

I continue to be impressed with the extent of customer service at Christian Brothers Automotive. While I expect professional knowledgeable service from tier 1 organizations, what I get from Christian Brothers is much more: THEY CARE.When I lost my last key while at YMCA, I called Christian Brothers with my emergency. Not only did they call Ram dealership a get new keys manufactured with VIN but they shuttled me home and then delivered keys to me.

I always have anxiety about going to new auto places but the lovely people at CBA, were absolutely terrific. I went in only for an inspection and the man at the front desk (i forgot to grab his name ) was so kind and welcoming. I was in and out in a flash and even when i was booking the apt i was treated with the utmost kindness. Definitely will be back for any future problems!

Christian Brothers on Brodie is AWESOME. I used them for the first time this week to diagnose and repair an oil leak. They knocked it out that day for a reasonable price while keeping me in the loop the whole time. Reasonable prices, great service, and great communication - doesn t get any better than this.

I have never been to an auto repair shop like this one. I am a single mom and need to have a working vehicle. In the past, when going to auto repair shops I have often felt unheard, and disrespected. Many times, I felt taken advantage of when dealing with my auto repair needs.Christian Brothers changed my view in the last few weeks.I took one car into Christian Brothers a few weeks ago. Michael was great at listening to my concerns and helping me get the vehicle diagnosed and repaired back to me quickly. Then again, I had to go back this last week. I took another vehicle I just purchased back to Christian Brothers. Wes reassured me they would diagnose it inspect the entire vehicle and let me know what my next steps were. When picking up my vehicle, Shannon answered all my questions and addressed all muy concerns before I left.All the guys were very informative and never once made me feel like a "dumb woman" as I have felt at other shops. They communicated throughout the process and gave me very clear recommendations. I definitely recommend this place to others and especially women that have ever felt treated unfairly simply because of your gender. These guys will treat you with respect.

Christian Brothers sets the example on what a car shop should be! I recently went there for some repairs, and they are always professional and friendly. They took the time to thoroughly explain the issues with my car, providing detailed information without overwhelming me with technical jargon. I had an issue with my muffler and they said they d get the part in the next day, but ended up being able to get it later the same day I brought my car in. They had my car ready to go by 7am the next day. It was there less than 24 hours and I was fully expecting to not have my car for at least two days. They went above and beyond. Along with doing other things the car needed. I was very impressed with how quick they were able to get my car back to me. Love coming here because I know I m getting the best service.

Impressed at the integrity to call and say the fix seems so simple I wouldn't need to pay the quoted price I agreed to for diagnostics, unless I wanted to do it anyways to make sure. I wouldn't have known any different and am use to being nervous at auto shops that I'll pay for things I don't need or over pay for services I do need. Now that I need work on my car again I'll go back because of that experience. Also just nice people all around and a nice waiting area.

Had my alternator replaced by them and they were very communicative and quick to fix it. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff always makes me feel welcome here. I really appreciate that they never try to upsell things to me like other shops do, they only recommend what is actually needed.

They (Christian Brothers Brodie) are very good at their profession. Everyone is ready to help. Michael was very detailed in everything that needed to be done to my Jeep. It s running like brand new now. I highly recommend them. They re my new auto service location for my Jeep. Check em out. You won t be disappointed. Wes and his team were super great to work with! They gave me constant updates on my car and what the status was of it. Gave me a detailed listed of everything that could have been fixed and gave me the option to either accept or reject whatever I wanted. They also broke their 15 mile shuttle radius for me and brought me home when I dropped my car off. I will be back. Thank you guys!!!

Once again all the people at Christian Brothers on Brodie in Austin were beyond great. They are so courteous and knowledgeable . My BMW is my baby. And that is just how they treat it too. Shannon and Mark are just like family to me. Been going to these guys for over 5 years now and have never been disappointed. Excellent repair shop. I have had my aging vehicle in several times over the past couple of years - they are competent, courteous, have an easy to follow process to review/approve repairs, etc. Most recently they walked through some serious electrical failures and continued to work with me to resolve the issues with far more attention to get it right than I expected.

Christian Bros on Brodie: Their customer service is top-notch. Polite, respectful, helpful, positive, efficient and my emissions test was done so quickly that I didn t even get to finish the bottle of water that was handed to me when I arrived!I love that customer engagement/treatment is obviously a key component of their company s mission.
