Elizabeth Larrick did her level best to figure out how to get compensation for me after a needless accident caused by my home builder. Unfortunately, I gave her a real hill to climb, since the builder had gone bankrupt, the mistakes were made in 1996, and the attic stairs that collapsed (leaving me with broken bones and $10,000 of medical bills after insurance picked up their part) had miraculously managed to hold together for the 22 years I'd lived in the house. (I am the original owner.)The crux of the problem (from an engineering perspective) was that the stairs carried only a 250 pound load rating, and in 22 years I'd replaced two 150 pound hot water heaters. With a 175 pound guy carrying those up the stairs twice, the under-rated stairs had been overstressed several times on removal of an old heater and installation of a new one. Compounding the problem, the builder didn't use the ten heavy lag screws required for proper installation (as defined by the stair manufacturer), but instead used a combination of 1/8" wood screws (which broke), finish nails, and staples to put it in. (See photos.) As noted, it's a minor miracle it didn't collapse any time before it did.The legal problem, though, is that there's a statute of limitations on things like this. And although the builder's assets were purchased at auction when he went bankrupt, it'd be hard to reach through that sale to also assign liability. In the end, there wasn't much we could do. So I'll just learn to live with the cracked bone inside my knee (see arthroscope photo) and the two screws in my tibia that I'll carry to my grave (see x-ray). Not what I might've hoped for, but as noted, I gave Larrick Law an impossible task from a legal standpoint. And I appreciate that somebody did take the time to look down every possible angle to try to get some recompense for the sheer sloppiness that goes with choosing inadequate materials, using poor homebuilding technique, and setting up the conditions that were bound to get somebody maimed, crippled, or killed some time later.

Elizabeth is one of the smartest lawyers I know. I recently hired her to help me with some very intense and very sensitive witness preparation. She greatly exceeded my expectations and my client s testimony definitely added significant value to the case. This was all due to her efforts. I was very impressed. She is truly at the top of her field and I look forward to using her many more times in the future. My clients felt the same way about her as well and she treated them with kindness, compassion, and patience. Getting Elizabeth involved was a definite win/win.

Elizabeth is an incredible attorney whose success is based on preparation, preparation and more preparation. I am a fellow attorney who hired Elizabeth to help me prepare a nervous client for a very big deposition. Elizabeth spent 7 hours working with my client to help my client become the most confident person in the room and to dominate the opposing attorney during the deposition. Jeff R.

I have been a personal injury lawyer for over 20 years. I have worked with Elizabeth on several occasions for witness prep, focus groups and consulting on an 18-wheeler wreck trial. Lawyers that aren't hiring Elizabeth are leaving money on the table. I place so much trust and confidence in Elizabeth, that I referred my own family members to her that suffered serious injuries in a car wreck in Austin.

Elizabeth transformed one of the most difficult clients from a jerk to an angel. Her witness preparation spanned 3 days, Elizabeth reviewed hundreds of pages of depositions, focus group film clips and more. Elizabeth knew before the first meeting with our client that Elizabeth had a long and difficult job. Thank you Elizabeth for your saintly patience with the client. To everyone's surprise the client did a great job on the stand, and was able to handle the cross examination perfectly. If you have a client that needs support and coaching to be their best, call Elizabeth early and get her on your team.

I recently hired Elizabeth to prepare a client for a deposition. Elizabeth's efforts exceeded my expectations. I pride myself in getting a client to open up, but Elizabeth uncovered items that needed to be addressed that I would have never found. My client did great during the deposition. Elizabeth took a good case and made it great. I highly recommend her to prepare clients for depositions.

Elizabeth is a passionate trial lawyer that truly cares about her clients. She takes the time to listen to her clients and develops each case with an eye for detail. Having worked with Elizabeth on several matters, I saw first-hand her work ethic and tenacity for her personal injury clients.

Elizabeth Larrick helped us through a difficult time when an auto accident totaled my car and injured my daughter and I. The responsible driver's insurance, Progressive, refused to pay our medical expenses, but Elizabeth stayed on their case until all of our bills were finally paid.Ms. Larrick is a trustworthy lawyer and you should talk to her if you need assistance with a legal issue.

I had a fairly straightforward personal injury case: my car was struck by a drunk driver who fled the scene, leaving me concussed and very unhappy. Easy enough, I thought, maybe I'll just send the opposing insurance company my own demand letter. It seemed pretty easy to just copy the format from other letters I found on Google. Fortunately, a few people convinced me to hire a professional.Elizabeth was recommended to me by another attorney. She listened to my situation and assured me (accurately, it later turned out) that this was a pretty clear-cut situation. I was impressed by her professionalism during that first call, so I asked her to represent me before we hung up.Holy moly, am I glad I did. Two weeks later, I was in a second car accident this time I was a passenger, and we got rear-ended on an I-35 access road entrance by a driver not paying attention. The driver of the car gave my name to her insurance company. Big mistake. Now, the insurance company for my original accident claimed that ALL my symptoms came from the second accident, and they could not be held accountable. If I were representing myself, I'd have been screwed at this point.Elizabeth did everything right after this. She told me how to deal with the second insurance company. She got all my medical files. She got official statements from me, the other driver, and the police officer who eventually tracked down the other driver (who had fled the scene). She ran our arguments by a focus group to see how a jury would react. She did, in short, a TON OF WORK. I cannot stress enough how much effort Elizabeth put into this case. Her work paid off. The insurance company finally folded when presented with all the evidence a whopping 2+ years after the accident. The moral of the story is this: if you're thinking of dealing with something like this yourself, don't do it. It takes way more work, way more time, and way more patience than you think. If you have a full-time job, kids, or even an engaging hobby, you're not going to want to do what it takes to win your case.As a nice little coda, Elizabeth also knew that I was set to get married June 2020. COVID had other plans, of course, and so all the wedding events and such had to be canceled. She reached out to commiserate and offer advice on how to deal with vendors who didn't want to return deposits. That was thoughtful and much appreciated.

If you are looking for a law firm to handle your car wreck case I would definitely recommend using Larrick Law Firm. It was my first time having a car wreck and I really had no clue how to get everything settled. Elizabeth fought hard for my case when the insurance company was not willing to pay for anything. The firm was very easy to work with and super transparent throughout the entire process.

After having my car totaled driving to work, Elizabeth went to every length to settle my case and make me whole again. Highly responsive, kept me in the loop throughout the ups and downs of the pandemic, and ultimately was able to help come to a solution that suits me well. Highly recommended!

I was in an accident last summer that wasn't my fault, but somehow ended up costing me over $3,000 to replace my totaled car. And, as a single mom, that was a game-changing amount. A friend referred me to Elizabeth, who was SO helpful. She walked me through the entire process, explaining every confusing element of these sorts of cases to me (I'm woefully unknowledgeable about such things), and then offered to take my case on contingency...so, it wouldn't cost me anything regardless of the outcome. In the end, she ended up getting me WELL over the $3,000 I had lost, and held my hand (so to speak) the entire way. With the extra money, I was able to pay off some extra bills and have some cushioning in my savings account that hasn't been there since my divorce.I'm so grateful for all her help and I highly recommend using her services. You wont' be disappointed!

She helped me through the process as fast as she could (given insurance companies lag so much) and was ALWAYS responsive. Always respectful & courteous and gave her best advice with the case details she had in front of her. Thank you, Elizabeth!
