Capital City Automotive deserves high praise for their exceptional service. Facing a low oil pressure issue with my F150, I called them in a pinch. Remarkably, they squeezed me into their schedule on the same day, demonstrating their remarkable responsiveness.Upon arrival, their professionalism shone through as they swiftly diagnosed and resolved the problem. Notably, they exceeded expectations by completing the repairs ahead of schedule. Came in on a Tuesday, to get some mechanical work done cause I hit a curb pretty bad. They gave me a quote later that same day and told me it would be ready Friday afternoon. I called back and asked if there was anyway they could speed it up, cause I needed to be out of town for a funeral Friday morning. They got the car done Thursday afternoon. On top of that, I left my headphones outside when I came in on Tuesday. When I picked up the car Thursday, I asked if they found them, they did and they returned them back to me. They did great work on my car for a fair price in a very timely manner and seem trustworthy. I recommend(:

I have been taking my car here for 10 years. The owner and staff are highly recommended. No matter what the issue is, They are honest and trustworthy about the situation. After getting a quote from another repair shop, I took my car to CCA to get a second opinion and realized I was being told false information, thankfully Ansar was able to tell me straightforward what the issue was and gave me a very reasonable price to fix it. I had trouble with an older Mercedes and Capital City Automotive was one of the few shops in Austin that would take it in to look at. I ultimately ended up going another route, but I appreciate Ansar s communication and follow up throughout. His kindness and diligence made the experience pleasant, and I would recommend their shop to anyone that asked.

Best mechanic experience I ve had. The staff walked me through the entire insurance process, made sure I got the best possible deal, and made my Audi look new. They communicated with me the entire time and I couldn t be happier with the work.

Initial work was completed, so they get one star, but they don't want to own their standards. Had a lift kit installed and and alignment completed by them, and now they don't want to make the proper adjustments to ensure an OEM camber so I don't burn through tires.Went to the dealership and got everything zeroed out with proper lift installation procedures.Spent 3K for the work and still had to go to another repair shop to fix the work they didn't want to do right. I am sure they are great with insurance companies, but I would keep custom work away. They shouldn't state they can do custom work, and then they say they don't do this kind of work after the fact, when it wasn't done properly. BUYER BEWARE** It is hysterical to see the owner argue with customers on here about their standards and why they charge so much for work, after having gone through this and being told that is the best we can do.**You don't need to talk to me to refund the charge if you really stood by your cyber-puffing.

No one wants to deal with your car not working, but when you you need to, this place is AMAZING! Very professional, prompt, courteous. My call of distress was warmly received, with instructions for delivering the car. The problem was very quickly identified, and I received a call, outlining the problem, the resolution, and the cost. With my approval, everything was taken care of, and a couple hours later, I was contacted that we were good to go. Highly recommend!

I've been going to Capital City Auto for 6 years, and I've consistently experienced clear communication, fair pricing and solid work. My dad worked on cars growing up and I would always trouble shoot my car issues with him and then let him know what the mechanics said and the price I was offered; he always corroborated that these guys had it right and were fair in cost. Ansar's gone above and beyond for me on several occasions. I have a 12 year old Jeep Wrangler and after a small fender bender last year, my insurance company wanted to total my car. Ansar worked tirelessly to explain to them the value of my vehicle and the actual cost of repair, and I felt like he looked after my car like it was his own. With a car as old as mine, theres usually 1-2 issues I have to deal with a year, and it makes me feel good knowing I have the Capital City team at the helm; I know they will address the issues quickly and be transparent about the cost and weigh all of my options with me.

Have used the automotive services offered at Capital City since the mid 2000 s. Ansar and Abuti have always gone above and beyond in making sure they keep our cars in top running condition. Ansar and Abudi have been my friends for about 20 years, since my daughter bought her first car from them. They have always sold us great cars that lasted many years. They work hard to be sure their customers are well taken care of.

Came in with screwed up drive belt and pulleys at 2pm on Thursday. Car was completely fixed by 11am on Friday and they also buffed out some scrapes I had. Fast, communicative, and quite reasonably priced for today s standard.

My car was making a horrific noise nearby so I took it here on a whim. They took me in same-day and fixed the issue immediately. I tend to be wary of mechanics I don't know (especially as a younger woman) but they were super honest with me about everything and I really appreciated it. I know this because their honesty meant I had to do less to the car. I'll definitely go to them in the future and consider myself lucky that they were the nearest shop when I needed something!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Very impressed by the service and the amazing quality of repair of our damaged door on our Mercedes E400; while other places quoted almost $9000 and 3 weeks of work, Capital City Automotive took about 2 days (2 DAYS!) and the quote was unbeatable.They're my new car shop in town, can't recommend more!Service: Auto body & trim repair

I purchased a 2016 Subaru Forester from Capital City last week. I did TONS of research and saw the vehicle was well-priced & on the low end of the Kelly Blue Book value. Ansar, one of the owners who is constantly working, explained to me they like to sell high quality cars which may have some minor cosmetic issues, but the main goal is for Capital City to make a little money on the car & have a good working vehicle for the purchaser. I even fact-checked him by finding a podcast he did years ago, & he said the SAME THING! The consistency in how he does business over the years was refreshing. Ansar showed me the carfax & the car test drove great. I had a few other things I wanted to look at before buying the car & Ansar was happy to oblige. I spoke to Ansar over a period of a week and felt there s a genuine honesty at this shop that s rare to find. Capital City not only has a happy purchaser, but also someone who will be going back there for any future work I may need done. I will be recommending my friends to Capital City as well. Considering how intimidating car buying seems to be, Ansar made it a seamless & delightful experience.

Got quoted $200 for an alignment I denied due to that being too much for an alignment, in the eyes of me and many other mechanics who have quoted me. I was then told Good luck with your cheap alignment. By the general manager! I would never even consider getting other work done by this place now.

I was in Austin for a weekend trip from Houston when my car started sputtering. Capital city auto just happens to be the neareat and how lucky for me that it was! The owner walked me through all the possibilities of what could be wrong, and was so honest and fair. My car was fixed quickly, everything was communicated clearly and the pricing was very reasonable. Couldn t recommend this shop enoughService: Auto maintenance

Best Auto Repair business in Austin. I've been in many places but that's top They did alignment in less than an hour. Did a suspension inspection and honestly told me all the issues and if they are critical or not. Also the pricing is really fair and people are very friendly.Highly recommend!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

Finally, someone we can trust to work on our vehicles. Ansar, owner and manager, was very thorough and informative with what our car needed for a long road trip. They were able to get us in and out promptly! Estimate was right on and they even offered a loaner car while ours was in the shop. I would highly recommend their service to anyone looking at supporting local business. Great service and great people!
