Rock star customer service.These guys helped me test and diagnose an injector set and a pump off of an 1981 JD 2640. They answered right away and allowed me to pick their brains over the phone so I didn't have to drive all the way in from Bertram TX.We were able to determine with 99% certainty that I had received a bad injector in the "new" set from amazon; and that the pump, because of the rotary design type, was not the issue.Very helpful even though I wasn't using parts I had bought from them and I will certainly be using them in the future.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Great shop to use. They have taken care of my little Toyota Diesel Van since 2017 when I needed the pump rebuilt. The most recent job they solved a starting issue I could not sort out. I have taken about 6 different injection pumps there that I can't find replacements for but they can all ways find parts to rebuild the ones I have. Fast service and really friendly

Brought my 1997 f350 to this guys for a fuel pressure issue. About 3-4K later and still nothing. Finally decide to replace the tanks and fuel pump but somehow the shop decides to charge me for 10 hours on a 6-8 hour fuel pump job. When asked why the hours Forest Smiley said that thats the price they re willing to do it for. At the end of the day the truck is coming out the shop with the same problem. One tech shop, doesn t have the capabilities to deal with fuel related issues.

Sent 2 TBI injectors in for cleaning and testing. Was told they were good. Upon installation one did not work at all. Swapped positions to check if it was my wiring etc. NOPE! When I called to report the problem I was told who knows what happened to them after they left our shop get a new one from the parts store. Luckily it s a wet system and could visually see it not spraying. If it was direct injection it would have destroyed a cylinder. So you get a 50% chance of service here.

These guys are pros and had all the parts in stock. Had it back to me the next day. Reinstalled the injector pump, and the backhoe started right up, 50 year old tractor runs better than ever. Thanks

Rebuilt my engine and it came back with coolant, fuel and oil leak. They fixed thise issues after multiple trips back and multiple weeks. Now a few months later and my head gasket is leaking. With how unprofessional they were the first time it is more worthwhile fir me to take it somewhere else to get fixed instead of back to them. Horrible customer service that will just tell you what you want to hear and try to up sale you instead of being honest.

I showed up at the front desk hat in hand knowing I was in for a complete injection pump replacement and asked Joshua if there was anything they could do for me. He agreed to tear it down and let me know what they found. The very next day I get a call with news that my pump is repaired and ready to go for not even a quarter of the cost of a new one. Thank you for all your help, you guys are top notch in my book.

walked in looking to buy a 1400 dollar injection pump and Justin Dilbert the general manager asked me some questions about truck then told me to check my truck for some things that he proceeded to show me in the shop and i went home checked truck went back today and my fix was a 200 dollar sensor which he had told me to check!!! these guys are awesome and know what they are talking about and most of all HONEST!!! He could have easily sold me the 1400 dollar pump but instead took his time to show me what to check!! i will be using them for everything i can highly recommend them!!!

I needed a complete AFC housing for my 95, 12 valve. I was not about to buy one from Dodge as they would have charged me more than I paid for the entire truck. I went to Austin Fuel Injection and they gave me a used one that they had in the shop. Works like a charm. I tried to pay them and they wouldn't let me. I will be a life long customer and fan of this place. Thank you AFI!!!

Austin Fuel injection is the ONLY shop I trust to work on my 02 7.3 . They are extremely knowledgeable not only about the fuel system components of diesel motor, but the entire truck. I recently took my truck in to them to get the turbo Pedestal replaced along with boots and the valve delete kit. Not only did they do it in a timely manner but it was affordable and super clean. Everyone In the office & shop is upfront and honest thru your entire repair and will even give you a daily call for a update on progress. I will be taking my truck back real soon for some upgrade work ! Thanks Austin Fuel Injection!!

this is a great group of people. they do good work for an honest price and dont try to screw you or upsell you on crap you dont need. for the people that care, they have the best scan tool equipment and people that can decipher it. theyve got a great shop manager, nate, who even looked at, and fixed, a few small problems on my truck for no charge.

Good products, absolute terrible customer service. A primate could do a better job. Ordered a pump and gaskets from them said they would drop ship it to me and would be next day (they are 55 miles from my shop) . Now it's over 2 weeks later. They were supposed to deliver to me personally by this morning. Now it's 130 and I still haven't seen my parts. They never return my calls, and the only person I can speak to now is thea lady at front desk. I guess the guy I spoke with eye to eye and ordered these parts from is too scared to talk to me because he knows hes screwing me over? Hmm, idk maybe. Last time I take my business there. If your a shop or have a demand for multiple part purchases or really any injection system components, steer clear of these guys. Waste of mine & my customer's time and completely un-organized...

The guys at this place were very helpful and courteous. They had exactly what I needed and had it ready when I arrived. If I need further injector work done I will be going back to these guys. I appreciate good service, and they performed! I recommend.

I've come here several times for information and help diagnosing a problem and have only bought a few small parts and they always go out of their way to help me. Customer service is top notch. Not many businesses like this anymore.

I call and talk to Joshua after I called the mechanic it was going to cost me about $10,000 they guide me on what it could be in in the pump.. unfortunately it was not that parts but they'll refund me for the parts and I went on to replace the pump. Good hornest knowledgable and fair people

Had a head gasket done on my 6.7 dodge Cummins last year. Only put 22,000 miles on it already leaking oil from the valve cover gaskets. I started looking into it and the mechanic that worked on it stripped out bolts and didn't tighten most of them down. Witch has caused me more trouble and money. It was out of warranty but the don't seem to even want to help fix the problem. I wish this thing would let me put pictures on here to show a proof. This is one of the main reasons my company stopped using them. I don't recommend them once so ever

I have a 2002 Ford F250 7.3 ltr Cummins Diesel truck with over 200K miles. My truck sprung a diesel leak from the aftermarket secondary fuel filter installed before we bought it. The Ford dealership wanted over $1000 to replace all the fuel lines. Austin Fuel Injection just replaced the filter at a cost of $108.00. And had it done the next day. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who asks! Thanks AFI!

They found the injector problem without any guess work and fixed the problem no hassles. Shop was spotless and employes were polite. I recommend this place to anyone that needs diesel injector work done.
