I had a great experience at Austin Body Works! As you can see from before and after pictures, my car looks like new after they fixed the damage. I would like to mention that my car is from 2008 and the color is very hard to work with ( white pearl) but they blended it well so you cannot see any difference. Thank you!

Stan was so friendly and amazing! They got my car done super fast and it looks great. Plus, this was my first time going to a mechanic and Stan made me feel so welcome and comfortable. He turned a potentially stressful experience into a lovely one!

I recently had my Mazda MX5 serviced at Austin Body Works, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Their body repair work was impeccable, restoring my car to its former glory. What truly set them apart, though, was their exceptional customer service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly, and throughout the process, they kept me informed and ensured I was satisfied every step of the way. They even completed the job sooner than the expected date!I have to give a special shoutout to Stan for his humor and genuine concern. His friendly demeanor made the experience even more enjoyable, and his attention to detail truly impressed me. I felt like my car was in the best hands possible.Overall, I highly recommend Austin Body Works for anyone in need of car repairs. Their craftsmanship and customer care are second to none. DEFINITELY GIVE THIS PLACE A SHOT - kind and professional staff (Stan is the best), transparent and fair pricing, and Stan genuinely has your best interest at heart.Instead of encouraging me to proceed with fixing my car (that would've been ineffective bc of the interior problems they caught), he patiently explained to me the issue and saved me from wasting $1000+.It can be intimidating, especially as women, to visit auto/body shops and face the risk of getting unreasonable/higher quotes. Austin Body Works made the experience so smooth and safe! Highly recommend.

Went here to get an estimate on hail damage and while I was showing him the car the guy fixed my door which was popping and had been for months. Turns out it was just a loose bolt, he tightened it for me for free right there and it fixed an issue that had been driving me crazy.Great Austin local business here on this corner downtown since the 50 s.

Received the recommendation from State Farm. Highly recommend! I just picked up my Audi Q3 today from hail damage repairs. They took it to the Kyle location for PDR but were super flexible with working with me through the E 6th St location. Great communication and super high quality work. I was very impressed with the service I received and will 100% use them again for any body shop needs.EDIT: I had to post a follow up review. I had a very minor issue following receiving my car (one that ended up really not even being ABW's fault). They had me return immediately to fix it and even called a local Audi to get recommendations on the issue and how to correct it. These guys do great work and act with integrity. Special thank you to Taylor for going above and beyond!

Simply the best body shop around. Stan and his people take care of everything-- you give them your mangled car and you get it back all fixed and shiny! Oh and you don't have to deal with the insurance since they do it all for you.

Wow! Stan is the most amazing person I've dealt with ever when going to any place that deals with vehicles. He took care of some paint transfer I had got on my Jeep when a pole jumped out and hit me. I cannot recommend him enough. There is a reason this place is so highly rated! Amazing!!

We are an elderly couple who were visiting from Missouri and were involved in an accident with front and side damage. We were referred here by the insurance company to make sure the car was safe to drive back to Missouri. The owner was extremely kind and caring. I would recommend him without reservation!

Stan was the kindest, most knowledgeable, and helpful person! Car damage is extremely stressful, even when insurance is involved and the other person hit you -- maybe even more so, because it is overwhelming and things are out of control. He was able to evaluate my car without having to go through all the impersonal "oh it's going to be three weeks for me to get you in just to LOOK (!) at it" etc. nonsense... he was able to help me and went above and beyond doing what he could for my car in the meantime. No wonderful this place is so highly rated. I 100% recommend. Thanks again, Stan!

So my parked car was hit twice by Cap Metro buses within a week time frame. I asked for a list of recommended/partnered body shops from the Cap Metro insurance companies handling my claims. Austin Body Works Inc had the most reviews and best reviews of all the shops on the list so I called them first and from there I received nothing but the best service. They were able to get my vehicle in, stayed in communication and it wasn't my first time at a body shop. It was hands down the best experience like this I've had and they also got all the repairs done within two weeks (my past experiences have all taken over a month) and the work looked great. The folks at Austin Body Works are superb in every way. Courteous, professional, extremely skilled, honest, and well priced. Stan and Ryan are so kind and approachable, and I got a few great laughs from our conversations. Their painter is truly exceptional. My car is apparently hard to color match, but the new bumper they painted was flawless and in fact matched the car better than the original factory bumper paint. Incredible service. Stellar customer service. Quick turnaround with a flawless job done. I cannot speak highly enough about the service I received at Austin Body Works. My body repair looks as good as the day I bought it. Service was amazing and welcoming every time I walked through the door. Felt like I could trust everything being done. Price was fair and never for one moment felt like they were price gouging me. Again, there was trust of honest work done from start to finish. Really enjoyable. They went so above and beyond as well with vacuuming and cleaning the inside of the car. That was a touch of above and beyond that I was blown away with. Came across Austin Body Works from a list of recommended shops from State Farm, and I couldn t be happier with the service I received. Stan was incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. The communication throughout the entire process was thorough and the informative. My car was ready on the date they initially estimated, and the work they did is immaculate. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing body work!

This shop work and customer service is outstanding. I picked them out of a list of recommended shops but decide to go with a local shop and given the excellent reviews I decided to go with them. Their work repairing extensive hail damage was beyond expectations. The car looks like new. Additionally, I very pleased on their personal customer service. I can tell that they bend over backwards to exceed customers expectations. I have no words to describe how amazing my experience was at Austin Body Works. The rubber ending of my car door as well as my front bumper were pretty loose and popping out. I took my car here thinking I would have to leave it for a week or so to get new pieces- but instead, Stan suggested that his crew take the pieces off and reattach them correctly. I didn t even know this was possible! In total this service was $40, and it was done in less than 15 minutes. I couldn t be more ecstatic by the service here, the extremely helpful, efficient, and welcoming staff, and the overall experience. Stan is AMAZING and so is the rest of the crew. Stan even told me that their repairmen are all set up with retirement accounts- you can just tell how well this place is run. So so overjoyed to have found my Austin-go-to! Austin Body Works is one of the most friendliest and efficient body shops I have ever gone to. I recently got in an accident where my bumper was ripped off, and they helped me every step of the way. They were extremely clear about the timeline and even called me to ensure I knew the updates happening to my car. My car was fixed a week ahead of schedule too! I cannot express how thankful I was for them, their amazing communication, and helpful service. I highly recommend going here if you ever need car help.

PLEASE COME HERE!!!!!! Stan is the literal best human being ever. My gas tank door was broken and he fixed it in like 5 seconds. He and his team genuinely care about healing people and cars. I will never go to any other body shop/dealership.

I cannot say enough great things about Austin Body Works and Ryan. This is hands down the best service I have ever received for any car, and much as I hope I don't have cause to go there again (no more wrecks!), I would do so in a heartbeat if the need arises. First, the car itself -- work looks great and I am highly satisfied with the result. But beyond that, the customer service was exceptional. At every phase, Ryan was so thoughtful and helpful and went above and beyond. This included fitting me in for an immediate review of the repairs, scheduling the appointment as I needed, literally giving me a ride to the airport, and the list goes on. I can t recommend Austin Body Works enough. I ran over a tire which caused damage to my front bumper, fender liner, and fog lamp of my 2010 Lexus IS250. I went to 3 body shops to get quotes, and I was quickly convinced that Austin Body Works deserves my business. First of all, the many previous 5 star reviews speak for themselves. Ryan spent time with me looking at my car and recommending different options (such as a used fog lamp) to keep the quote at a reasonable price. He even started price matching while I was in the office for the original quote. Ryan was extremely communicative throughout the process and ended up both getting me in earlier than originally estimated and finishing the work in less time than estimated. When I picked up my car, I almost didn t recognize it. They fully cleaned the interior and exterior, and made me realize the fender liners were a completely different color than I had thought! All in all, come to this place if you want excellent service, tailored recommendations, consistent communication, and top tier work. I keep joking that I almost want to damage my car again just so I can take it back here!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I don t think there are enough words to express my gratitude for Austin Body Works. I was at fault in an accident and the other driver chose this shop to repair his car. I was completely prepared to be taken to the cleaners, but the exact opposite happened. When I spoke to Carrie, she was understanding and extremely helpful in making sure the parts were there prior to the repair so my out of pocket for a rental would be minimal.When dealing with industries of which I have no knowledge, I am always afraid that I will be taken advantage of. Austin Body Works is ethical, honest, people focused, while still providing an awesome service. From now on, Austin Body Works will be my first and only call for my automotive needs.Service: Body & Trim

I d give them 10 stars if I could. On not one, but two different occasions, Stan has gone above and beyond to help me out. Recently, I had my mirror ripped off my car as I was on my way out of town driving from Austin to Pittsburgh. I was super frustrated because I hadn t even made it out of the city before this occurred. Stan was able to fit me in within just hours of the incident, fixed up my mirror and got me on my way. Exceptional customer service and extremely friendly. Highly highly recommend! Thanks again!

As a woman walking in to a body shop, you never know if you're going to get ripped off or not. I was very happy to find out that the guys at Austin Body Works were very fair and transparent about their prices. You could really tell that they put their customers first and they care about the work they do! It's really a breath of fresh air when you meet genuinely good people! Thank you to Stan and Ryan for all your help! I'll be sending all my body work as well as friends and family here in the future! I came to Austin Body Works because the front bumper of my Volvo became unclipped on both sides and needed to be reattached. I have an older model, therefore, was concerned about costs since I was already planning on getting a new car this year. I called Austin Body Works on a Monday morning, and they told me to bring my car right in. They took my car back immediately, and repaired the bumper within 30 minutes! They didn't even charge me! Everyone there was incredibly helpful, accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend.Service: Body & Trim

Over the past two decades I've taken our family's cars for repair to Austin Body Works. The gang at ABW does fantastic auto body work and Stan and the team always provide the best customer service. If all businesses operated like this, general human happiness levels would skyrocket, divorce rates would plummet, and Congress would finally work together to solve issues for all Americans. Until then, when you need auto body or trim work on your car, at least make that one experience hassle free by going to ABW.

Phenomenal service and exceptional results. A true gem of a find. Switched from service king and couldn't have been happier. That place was soulless but Stan at ABW told me all about his plan to go on a pie tour in East Texas for Thanksgiving. What a down to earth guy. My Honda Odyssey looked good as new.
