This was the first place I took my car when I moved to Austin. My car drives better after each visit, whether it is for maintenance or repairs.What I like about the place is that they are very thorough, detail oriented, and transparent with good customer service. The whole team has great communication skills and Patrick is proactive about keeping me aware of my car s progress and updates. I ve recommended them to others who have also taken their cars here with positive results.For those wanting their normal hours: typically Monday-Friday 8AM-5:30 PM. They do have an after hours locked drop box for your keys during late pickup, but I recommend communicating that ahead of time if you cannot arrive by their normal closing hour.

They were quick and did great work.I most appreciate that this shop creates detailed reports on what's going on with your vehicle, what the suggested repairs/parts/etc are, and ultimately what they end up doing to the vehicle.There are a couple of finance options for larger repairs. Everyone I've come into contact with was clear, direct, and kind in all their communications. All in all great shop, highly recommend!

Amazing auto is truly the best. They are very honest and do great work. The reports are always very easy to understand and help me know what maintenance will keep my car running the best. Patrick has been a huge help and even checks in between appointments to make sure everything is running well.

I always had a hard time with a shop to fixing my car but this guys just make a difference in all experience after all. It s a such nice place which you can sit and wait and all prepared for the future. It s all on your phone which makes more easy for us. And I didn t told about the treatment they give us! Super amazing treatment! You guys are really amazing Thanks a lot for everything My best regards to Patrick who was super patient with me

I was in Austin, TX a few months ago and realized by front brakes needed to be replaced and I needed an oil change. I went to Amazing Auto Repair & Transmission and they did it!! My car drove so much smoother and there wasn't any of the brake scrubbing. All I have to say is go to Amazing Auto Repair & Transmission in Austin, TX if you get a chance. You will NOT regret it!! I drove my car back to Mississippi feeling confident & happy! Thanks guys!!

I've been taking my car here since 2019.They've always been transparent about the diagnostics and recommendations. I think it's cheap or fair priced.I appreciate the text message updates.I've never had to take my car back for additional work. I always recommend this place to anyone with car trouble.

I have a car that has needed tons of maintenance from small to major. The crew at Amazing Auto Repair are professional, honest, flexible, and great at communicating issues and options. oh man what can i say? i can say nothing but positive things. so recently (8/4/23) i got my radiator replaced at Firestone and spent monies! a couple weeks later the vehicle was still overheating at idle, i was in P.Terry's drive-thru. went back to Firestone for a check and they were sayin i may have cylinder or head gasket damage. damn rear ruined my life.on a random Friday i drove past Amazing Auto and decided to stop by and ask some questions. spoke to 2 mechs and both were super friendly, 1 was working and 1 was coming back from lunch. talked to Patrick later that day and he told me to bring it by on Tuesday(day after Labor Day). dropped it off and got a call report with the good, bad and ugly, got a follow up call from Patrick and he expressed his concerns and it did not feel nefarious or predatory at all. so with the idea of making this vehicle last til next year and mentally preparing for a new engine, i still proceeded with the water pump and timing cover service the following week. on Monday i got a new thermostat and drive belt, on Tuedsay morning i dropped it off and Patrick he'll call me tomorrow morning, on Wednesday morning i got a text saying service was completed. picked up my vehicle and went to work. definitely gonna go back for more required and suggested service. i idled for 15 minutes JUST NOW(9/3/23 10:22 pm) and the gauge looks frozen right at under halfway. did i mention my car was making a rattling noise that was kinda scary and it was the water pump making me think it was the timing chain or some more severe? this team will always have my car

Had my fuel pump changed at Amazing Auto Repair & Transmission and they did a great job. Staff had great communication and kept me updated throughout the entire repair. Highly recommend this shop!

Always been cautious with auto shops because I don t know much about cars. The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable. Had a little miscommunication the first time I brought my car in, but Patrick has been amazing with explaining things to me and very accommodating!

The most trustworthy shop in the Greater Austin Area. My Honda gives me maintenance reminders every few thousand miles which I bring directly to the shop. Multiple times now, they've given me an honest opinion on whether the maintenance codes are correct, whether I even need the services I request. Anywhere else would fleece me and do whatever services I ask for, charging too much for basic work. Only Amazing Auto Repair protects my car and my wallet at the same time. And the work is excellent as well. I have never had to leave my car with them overnight. So far it has always been a same-day service with a detailed and honest explanation about the work they performed. I walk out smarter and happier each time I visit. They never overcharge, oversell, or lie which is such a relief. Trust them and you won't regret it!

Talking about honesty!!! For over a decade I have been taking my cars to Amazing Auto. Today I took my car because the "maintenance" light came on, my car has over 120K miles, so I thought it might need a tune-up, or something important to keep it running. Well, Patrick tells me is up to date with needed maintenance. Anyone else would have taken my money and run!!!

I used Amazing Auto before to help me with my Hyundai Sonata starter and boom they fixed it for a reasonable price.Patrick was there every step of the way. Addressing my concerns. It hasn't changed when my rear brake light stopped working.I thought of them first. I am glad I did...He explained it to me as well as his coworker and I just need to get a part and they will install it for me.Also great fare rate.Service: Electrical

I m very impressed! From start to finish customer service, efficiency and help was great! Taking a look at my car to find the problem was done super fast and at a low price! Once they were done looking at my car, I got a detailed worksheet of any problems I had and the recommendations for how soon things should/needed to be fixed. I never felt pressured to do anything like I have before at other auto body shops. The service manager, I believe his name was Patrick, was super nice and helpful! This is definitely my new go to car repair shop

Everyone was very polite and respectful. As a woman I've been talked down to a lot when it comes to my car. I often loathe having to talk to a mechanic BUT Patrick addressed me so kindly and actually listened to me. Been going to these guys and loving them. They can always get you in really quick and pricing seems really reasonable.They actually talked me OUT of getting a repair on a really old car as it wouldn t be worth it considering the value of the vehicle. Little things like that really help earn my trust and make me want to be a lifer here. Thanks guys.

My first experience with Amazing Auto Repair was just that, amazing! I had a check engine light come on and was able to schedule an appointment online for the next business day. Patrick was attentive in listening to what issues I was having with the car. The team was as able to diagnose the cause and order a replacement part. The prices were fair and the estimated cost and turnaround time was spot on. While one never wishes to need extra work done on their vehicle, it is nice to find a shop that you can trust

They have such amazing service(as their name suggests) and you can tell they genuinely care for their customers. When I took my car in, they found the problem quickly and repaired it super fast. Nothing amazing about this shop! AVOID this shop! My vehicle still having issues got charged $1600 the guy there is unprofessional , sarcastic and rude looked at me like I was dumb and didn't know what I was talking about when I told him my vehicle is still having issues and I was called a thief when I told him If I could test drive before I picked it up he said " no because you might drive off with it" I've never been told that in my life. I had to bring it in a second time because alignment wasn't done the 1st time, my car still having issues. And nothing is fixed. Tried talking to manager of this shop and No Response. I got robbed ! This shop doesn't care . Would give 0 stars .Typical scammer shop!

Friendly staff, squeezed our vehicle in and worked on it so fast even though we didn t have an appointment. They communicate so well and gave me an incredibly detailed report and price quotes for everything. Highly recommend
