The employee that helped me check the engine light on was quick and helpful. Looked up the codes for me and looked at the gas cap, to see if he could help troubleshoot. Very thankful for the help.

Outstanding customer service! Stopped in for a new battery today while traveling and the young man who assisted me was very knowledgeable and helpful. I m happy I stopped by and will definitely be back for my car care needs. Thank you again for a pleasant experience! Highly recommend this location if you re in the north Austin area.

Let s just say I asked for a simple item & the guys had no clue what it is. I asked another question and the guy still had no clue. I went to NAPA . The guy laughed when I told him what happened. He sold me the part for $16 . And, I was back on the road. Yeah go elsewhere.

There s a reason the joke about parts counter staff not knowing what they re talking about exists.Rude staff member on the phone claiming they didn t sell a part and couldn t find it anywhere but the guy didn t even bother listening to the parts info I was trying to provide. Then hung up on me because I misspoke while checking other parts stores for availability. Absolute idiot.By the way, they sold the part. And had the idiot just stopped interrupting me for long enough to hear the part number, there wouldn t have been an issue.

The manager is a very rude and condescending man. I haven't experienced such horrible customer service. I was asking questions and he just walked off. I heard him mumbling about me as he walked off and as the other person tried to help me. He shouldn't represent any business that cares about customer relations. I visited about 4pm on 8-4-23.

Whoever that kid working there at 1:30 on Tuesday was, he's a little sociopath who should not be working the front counter. Treated the woman in front of us rudely and then gave me a glare when I asked him a question. His eyelid quivered and everything. Very weird vibe from that guy.

There is a young kid in the front , who is unprofessional and has very poor product knowledge. This is my first and last time shopping at Advance Auo Parts , additionally when i purchased parts it has appeared that one of the parts was used

Came here to try to buy some JB weld and gloves. They have three people working in the front yet only one working cash register which was currently occupied by somebody. Doing some sort of extended research for their problem vehicle and spending about 10 to 15 minutes of time occupying the computer. The other two workers are just standing around. Not able to check out anyone else due to the fact this is happening. I went ahead and left and won't be coming back to this store and will go to AutoZone on Anderson Mill instead, where they have working computers.

In the years passed I've had no problem with replacing lifetime warranty brake pads. It appears now that this company no longer honors this "lifetime" "guarantee" with new loopholes. Classic bait and switch. Save your money and go to another auto parts supplier

Bad customer service...After my battery died on me directly across the street from advance auto parts, I walked over for help seeing as I bought my battery from them. They told me they couldn't walk across the street to test my battery, fair enough...I get a jump and pull up and they test the battery and tell me it's good so I hop back in my truck, which it barely cranked over and headed to cedar park advanced auto where they came out tested the battery and told me it was no good and had it replaced within 15 minutes of me being there.

So I bought a car battery from this location, I stop by to ask return policy on them because I never used guy tell me as long as it hasn't been installed and you have the card( ask the same guy you sold it to me) so go today to return female work (Hailey)told she can't return with out receipt I told well I was told different then in became a back amd forth thing transfer over to a manage (Jeremy) you straight look at the battery pop the red positive cap off and said I've been doing this long enough to know that this been installed. At this point I felt insulted he also stress need a receipt. I'll shorting it but he gave me my return because it was under my phone which he failed to ask first. So I was able to get my return when told I continue with out receipt. At this point this location has lots my business. It seem that they sell installed battery to customer then Accuse them of things they didn't do. Not happy and corporate will be called I left feeling Insulted and was treated like I was a theft let alone confused. Don't shop here hey selling us reused product at retail price.

Had a single brand for all car batteries. Staff was helpful enough to get me my part, but didn't do much past that. The battery came with free installation, but I was told they could not leave the store because there was only two of them, and one was counting his drawer. I ended installing it in the parking lot using their tools. The one who was counting his cash finished and the two guys who were there watched me from the register. It wasn't the worse thing ever, just all around not a good experience.

I came in last weekend for some things I needed. Three people were working, two customers were in the store. I was never asked if I needed help finding anything, and when I asked for a part look-up, I got a "you're bothering me" attitude. When I was ready to check out, two employees were huddled down an aisle behind the register have a chat, while the third was helping a confused ESL customer. I made eye contact with one of the two chatters but it had no effect. After a while I just left the stuff I was going to buy at the register and left.

I went yesterday, I was very impressed by great customer service by all employees. Dude n Gourgious Lady. Anyways they were honest n very polite, not like other locations. come here. I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN TO THIS LOCATION. and cant wait to break something else on purpose.

came in to get a replacement for a dead battery, and eugene helped me find a new one and installed it for me. the one i bought ended up being slightly taller than my old one and was difficult to fit in at first. eugene worked so hard in the miserable cold weather to make sure it was installed securely and he was so nice to me :) thanks eugene!

Terrible Ted requires a tremendous amount of training.I visited my local Advance to return a starter motor I no longer needed - the vehicle I had purchased it for was unfortunately totaled (hail damage) before I could swap the part and the new starter motor floated around my garage for a while before I finally mustered the energy to return it. After consulting the return policy online I determined that I would have to settle with store credit because I did not have a receipt or proof of purchase. When I told Ted (the employee who was begrudgingly helping folks at Advance that day) that I was looking to get store credit he said he couldn t do that because it was against store policy. He pointed to the sign that is standard at ALL Advance locations to say that because it has been longer than 45 days he couldn t help. I tried explaining to Ted that the 45 days that is found under the without proof of purchase part of the Return Policy is there to clarify the dollar amount that would be provided on an Advance Auto Parts Merchandise Credit Card - but my attempts to explain this easy-to-understand policy were thwarted by his unwavering desire to say no, that s against store policy. After attempting to right this wrong several times I could tell we were both getting aggravated. I knew I had met an immovable object and decided to leave. In the parking lot, I called up customer service where Teresa M not only agreed that I was correct but ALSO found my purchase in the system and emailed it to me! Teresa, I cannot thank you enough! I decided that rather than walking into the store and returning it that day with Terrific Ted, I would visit another store in the area later in the week to get my money back and leave a nice long review on Google to ensure Ted gets the training he is in need of.

I wish I knew the name of the associate who helped me (and no I don't have my receipt to look). He was extremely kind and did not try to up sell me on unnecessary items. He was super knowledgeable and offered to assist me with my car. I buy parts from them all of the time but never until recently have I ever been asked if I needed assistance.

Bought a volts meter from this place and it saved me thousands. My truck just out of the blue stopped working, right before I got it towed, I went online, read what to buy, got to this shop, had a helpful worker who understood what I was looking for. I ran home and was able to test my battery, it's hook ups, my alternator, my starter and all fuses with this little life saving tool. It ended up being three fuses! Which I bought from this shop so basically I saved thousands and this shop helped so much!

I stopped by to get a new battery. It was quick and easy. They had two or three batteries to choose from, and they carried it out to my car for me. I'm very pleased with the whole experience.

I do business with this location and others every day and they always have better quality parts than the competitor at competitive prices. These guys always take care of me and my company thanks Felix, Ted, Louie ,Rod ,Steff and Garrett even though he's at a different location there amazing. They are always first on my speed dial.

Great for small parts and accessories. Team behind the counter knows their stuff and are eager to help. Had one guy come out to troubleshoot a friends car for free and get them on their way. Batteries are usually a decent deal here.

The store is in a good location that is easy to get in and out of with a light onto McNeil. Online pickup wasn't ready, but fortunately was a small order (ordering online allowed a nice coupon). One employee was helpful; the other could not possibly have cared less about the job and I'm not sure why he has a job there at all. No one offered anything beyond the minimum, but based on the location and the helpful employee, I still give it 4 stars.

Workers always in a bad mood, inexperienced,and rude. They seemed to get bothered by the slightest inconvenience. Also whenever I look for parts they never have the or it will take days yo get. I could see these locations closing soon, you re better off going to the dealer for OM parts or shopping at Amazon.BTW ask for part # and look for it online you could find it half off most of the time and some even have one day with prime.
