Service: Make sure to have them call before repairs are done or they will simply call and say "this is what we fixed, your price is this, your car is ready". Got stuck paying a higher price for repairs when I just needed a diagnose.

Typical car dealership. Nothing like the other two Bacon dealerships. Very disappointing and will never go back. Main reason the salesman was very arrogant and smug. There are other words to describe but I don't want to be crude.

Second purchase from Bacon, and they are the best! David is honest and a great communicator. We live 3 hours from the area, and the process is so smooth that we are willing to drive for the experience. No typical dealer games! It could not be done better!

Payed 15,000 Cash for a pre-owned 2016 chevy traverse, not even a day with it and it had really bad transmission problems, all they did is change the torque converter. every morning had to jump-start the vehicle because it would not turn on on its own found out it had an old washed up battery that did not work so I had to go buy a brand new battery for it, myself , because they said it was not their problem. Not even a month with the vehicle it had white smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe with a strong raw fueland burnt oil smell, it has bad fuel injectors. Every time you lay off the accelerator pedal the vehicle and steering wheel shake alot , every time I brake ,the vehicle and the steering wheel shakes like crazy. They have denied to have their technician to repair the 15k faulty vehicle they sold me. When we start the vehicle the RPM is over 1 RPM, too accelerated. AND ONE OF THE WORKERS ,I WONT SAY NAMES , TOLD ME THAT MOST OF THE VEHICLES THEY HAVE IN STOCK NEW AND PRE-OWNED DO NOT START ON THEIR OWN, THEY HAVE TO BE JUMP STARTED EVERY MORNING, AND HAVE PRO LEMS AND ,BACON CHEVY KNOWING THAT WILL STILL SELL THEM ,AS ARE. AND THEY HAVE DELETED THE HISTORY ON THE VEHICLES COMPUTER ,SO NO CODES COME UP AND NO LIGHTS TURN ON.

Sales person had to leave us to go get a card and more than likely lost a sale the sales manager nice friendly and helpful. Nice selection of trucks and jeeps. Small lot didn t see but one diesel half ton and one diesel Colorado.

This is the worst dealership in Athens, Tx. The service department is a joke. The only thing the service department has going for it is a guy named Earl. Everyone else is rude and act like they don t want your business, not that they could take care of your business with no technicians and a bunch of bad attitudes. Save yourself the trouble and travel further for a dealership that takes care of their customers and provides good service.

Very pleased with this dealership and salesman, Mike Lazarz. This was fifth vehicle we have bought at this dealer from Mike. If we are able to do so, will probably buy again.All staff that we have had dealings with in sales and service have been great!

Due to a time crunch and this dealership is closer to me than the dealership I usually go to in Tyler, I brought my SUV to the Bacon dealership. The folks were nice, and the oil change didn t take long, but I was SHOCKED at the price and the fact that they didn t even wash my SUV! Very disappointed!!

Dealership was very clean. Employees which I met were friendly and easy to carry on a conversation with during my visit. Completing the sale was actually completed After the closing time of the Dealership, however involved employees (sales & sales Mgr. and F&I) finalized the transaction even past the closing time..

Best buying experience ever! I first spoke to salesman Librado online who was super helpful! I applied online for financing then drove almost two hours from DFW to sign and pick up our new vehicle. Librado and the team stayed an hour late on a Saturday to accommodate us! We got there and all was ready to sign. Straight forward no BS. It took 10 minutes for paperwork/signing and we were out the door with our new vehicle! Librado and the team made everything super easy and gave excellent service! We will definitely be coming here for our future vehicle purchases, the two hour drive is worth the drive to get service like this!! Thanks again team for making the process so efficient and smooth!

I took my car in it was shaking and I was told by Dole the manager of the service shop after he drove it nothing was wrong with it.Took it to pelter in Tyler and told me I need to get a alignment did not get there ( to hi) went to another and got it and run great and I bought it at beacon

My mother had been getting her car service there, they did good work, but now a new guy has taken over, she took her car up there today the guy was very rude did not help her at all. Told her they don't make Chevrolet parts anymore." The new owner is a lowdowndirty person"

The parts and service department are great! I have used them for years. My most recent new vehicle purchase was competitive and priced to sale. It took less than 15 minutes to look at the vehicle and have Bacon agree with my offer.

I was charged $1750 for a motor to be installed. I changed my mind not to install the motor. When I went to pick it up they had started to remove the old motor. I don't think I should have had to pay anything since I changed my mind!! I was also charged a restock of fee of $650!i

We received your offer through TrueCar. I contacted Britney and she confirmed some details about the truck, answered our questions and was knowledgable and very helpful! When we arrived unannounced at your dealership, she was excellent! Showing us the truck, doing the test drive thing and explaining your financing/lease options. The next day, on her own volition, Britney offered to drive the truck to Tyler to allow my wife a convenient opportunity to test drive the truck. When we came in to do the paperwork thing, it was Britney's day off. Another salesperson handled the transaction. The gentleman was capable, but seemed obsessed with getting our Sirrus and On Star set up! Whoa there pardner!I hope Britney receives at least a share of the commissions on our purchase. We think she deserves it all!All in all it was a pleasure to do business with your outfit. Every one was friendly and professional.In the tumultuous economic atmosphere we are experiencing it was good to find folks with a positive view!Steve Arnold

The place looks vacant. There is nothing going on at this dealership, minimal inventory and zeroIn line for service. I needed to get a truck looked at but service was too busy. I show up to pick up truck and again nothing going on and most if not all are sitting around. They never got a chance to evaluate or even look at my vehicle. Just a very sad service department, it s exactly what I expected!

Does NOT even deserve 1 star. I would put zero if possible. I've tried to buy vehicles from here on multiple occasions and had to go to bigger cities to find good customer service and fair deals. One salesman even hung up the phone on me when I told him I didn't like the deal they were offering. The service department is equally as poor. I hope Bacon closes the doors so a better dealership can come to town.

My new car needed a small repair. They found the problem and ordered the part. When the part came in it only took a little while to install and I was back on the road. Excellent customer service. I am definitely buying my next car from Bacon!

Once they took my car back it was fine. But, I had an appointment at 1:00 and I didn't get out of there until almost 2:30. Everyone was nice and helpful as usual.

Made a service appointment in advance but when the truck was delivered for the service, the guy couldn't "locate" my appointment therefore denying same day service. I work out of town and had to make arrangements for the truck to be delivered and this incident caused much inconvenience. Will be reporting to GM as well with my confirmation.
