Found this place online, didn't know Lockhart had a motorcycle shop. Glad I found it, just over a mile from my house . Had a flat tire so Skip came & picked up my bike. Found out I needed brake pads too so they replaced them while it was in the shop. Was happy with the service and the short time it took to fix it. I have a Honda VTX 1300, they said they mostly work on Harleys , but they got my Honda fixed up. I Will be going back to Skips Bike shop if I need any more work on my bike.A few months later, went back to Skips Cycle for more major work, had to pull the engine. Very happy with the service & the price (5 *****stars)

This shop came as a recommendation from a close friend of mine and I m glad it did. Took my new 2019 Road Glide Special in for a Stage One upgrade. It involved an installation of a customer provided air cleaner kit and a Powervision Tuner map/calibration. It was an hour ride for me but based on the recommendation, I had to try them out. Besides, an hour ride in our south Texas backroads is hardly a burden. Skip was very knowledgeable and approachable. I was in/out within a few hours and at my convenience, on a Saturday. A detailed approach on the installation and an overall care of my bike that I much appreciated. I m returning next Saturday for a suspension upgrade project. Skip s Cycle Shop will be my new go to for all things Harley. Give them a try. That s all it will take.

I cannot recommend another Harley Davidson mechanic. This is your guy. He will shoot you straight, and always ensure your bike is safe for the road. Shops like this one just don't exist. Skip's is the absolute best!

Fantastic shop - this is how all shops should be. Needed some simple things done and checked over and they did a fantastic job. Not only did they do a fantastic job, they were prompt and the bill was very reasonable. You can tell they know what they're doing, they're fellow riders and mechanics. Forget Harley or any other mechanic shop, this is where you should go (and I will be going).Service: Steering & suspension repair

Was very glad to have had my bike dropped off here after I had had a breakdown on I-10. I don't recommend doing what I did and dropping it off without their prior knowledge but they were very kind and worked with me and fixed my clutch for a very decent price. Again I was scared of what might happen dropping it off at a weird time but I was in a huge predicament and it did work out. They are extraordinarily knowledgeable and communicative. They do what they can to keep your cost down (if you choose) while keeping your ride safe and functional. The shop is 3 hours from where I live but the experience was great and I may very well use them again in spite of the time it would take to get there , the drive is worth it!

You are a man of your word! I explained the lack of performance with my 2006 Heritage and you suggested to replace my cams. You then took your time out of your busy schedule, to explain in detail what performance I could expect from new cams. You also explained that Including dyno and mapping would further enhance my bikes performance. You came through on everything you stated and promised. You and Austin do everything from oil changes to enhancing bikes with high performance parts. You sir, have a high quality and professional staff, coupled with a clean and well organized high performance motorcycle shop. Thank you so much Skip, as you have brought me new found excitement in my bike. You sir, are a man of your word and backs that up with commitment and customer service. Thank you Skip and I will see you next weekend for the deceleration module!

Skip is the man! Just got my 03 RK back from some cam and oil plate upgrades. She s running harder than ever and Skip really knows how to take care of his people. I will be back for future upgrades and can t recommend enough going to Skip.

Don't "skip" this place! Skip is a stand up guy who knows exactly what he is doing. Anyone who can get their bike there will leave satisfied, to be sure.

Skips is the best went way out of his way to take care of me and my 2014 Heritage.
