Do not Take your vehicle to Milts auto shop repair. !!if you do,do it at your own risk I trusted this shop to get my truck fixed and up&running & they completely took me for every dime I had saved and never fully fixed the issues!!!truck won t stay running !Tim started off charging me $1,500 and a week later they said the final charge was $4,032!!! Read that again !They assured me that vehicle would be fully fixed!!They kept calling &pressuring me to pay off the invoice even before they test drove the car.Once I paid invoice they clearly became not interested in my concerns about the truck .They wanted me to pick it up without them test driving it .i insisted that they had to drive it first ( who knows for sure if they did &fir how long ?I lost trust with this shop completely based on how they handled business either way me)Milts, the owner then called saying truck was all fixed and ready to pick up . He told me in person that all work was under 90 day warranty and if anything happened I should take it back for them to fix.Well 2 days later truck had same reduced engine power light on and it went dead again. I dropped it off at the shop and days later , the front desk lady called stating I needed to pay another invoice for new issues with truck yet the truck was giving off the same issues (reduced engine power &wont stay running ) they were supposed to fix the first time when they charged over 4 K!!I went to pick up coz I refused for them to continue charging me for same issues. The initial diagnosis is a scam & they wanted to charge another diagnosis the second time . they handed me keys to pick up my truck from their shop lot saying they wouldn t fix anything if I didn t pay more . The truck wont even stay running after paying them over 4K initially !!******Take aways:*****1:They will over charge for parts and labor( take same invoice to other shops for comparisons and you will see Milts auto is over charging)2: they don t communicate among themselves clearly .different people in this shop will tell you different things about your vehicle3:The work warranty is a scam . They will tell you it s something new each time and try to charge you all over again4:the front desk lady could use some customer service training. I dreaded talking to her! I ve experienced better receptionists at McDonald s .5:Take your vehicle here at your own risk. This shop is all about taking your money !!

BEWARE. Do not come here, very unethical and rude. Initially, I came in for struts and an alignment. When I came in I was told by the receptionist that Milt wasn t there and she would give him my number to call. He calls. I explained the issue and he lets me know they should be able to repair it for $1200 after parts and labor. This was less than I was quoted from another shop so I said no problem I will bring my car in Monday. On Monday I come in and Tim was the only one there. He redid the estimate and the price skyrocketed to almost $3000. Clearly, I was being significantly upcharged because the owner himself quoted less than half of this. I told him that and he got flustered and began to just walk off from me. Very rude. I said never mind and began to leave. Little did I know Milt arrived and overheard the conversation. He asked me to bring over the estimate for him to look at. He redid it and the price went back down to what I originally was quoted. Right there, it was confirmed to me Tim was a scammer. I agreed to that price and left my keys. Big mistake. The day of pickup they called and said it was ready. I had budgeted for the price I was quoted and was prepared to pay over the phone. The receptionist then informed me that it took slightly longer, than expected so now it would be $1600. I immediately refuted that because I was quoted much lower and $400 extra for slightly longer felt excessive. Not once did anyone contact me informing me of the additional charges and the day I dropped it off they said it would take a full day. It took a full day which is again what I was originally told. So how are you charging for additional time when it took the amount of time you expected. She handed the phone to Tim and before I could explain my position he began talking over me, screaming at me over the phone, telling me to just deal with it. He was extremely aggressive and unprofessional especially considering I remained kind, never raised my voice, and was trying to reason with him. After he finished throwing his sissy fit he hung up in my face. I immediately called back. The first call was declined.. coward. On the second Tim answered. I asked to speak to someone else. He again lied ( which seems like a common theme with him), and said he was the only one there. I said there s no way because I just talked to the receptionist before you. He handed the phone over, dispelling his own lie. I let the receptionist know I did not appreciate being hung up on, re-explained my grievances with the price changes and let them know I d be there the next day. I came back with my dad, and Milt was there. He began to give his rehearsed explanation about the bs price change. Clearly something he pondered up the night before. Now instead of saying it was due to extra time as they told me prior he said something about extra parts and labor. They never once informed me of any required add ons. Any regular car shop would call you and tell you of any issues or changes. If I knew it d be $1600 I would ve went to the other place. I told him how Tim treated me and he immediately cut me off to defend him saying he s never known Tim to be rude. Well yea.. you re his boss. I was fine not getting serviced there and was about to leave before he redid my estimate and promised the initial price. It was them who asked me to come back and promised to do it for the initial price. Not me! Why lie, I could ve went on my merry way. Ultimately, I paid because I often choose peace and rising above trash behavior. But, I would be wrong to not warn anyone considering this place. Disgusting behavior, trash customer service, and no morale.

Milt took a no-nonsense approach when it came to dealing with my extended warranty company. Unlike the other two places I had had my car previously, he jumped right in, got the approval and got me fixed up in 2 weeks. Now, after 7 months, I have a car to drive and it's been working great for the last two months. Milt's has been the most honest and trustworthy auto company I've ever been to. My family has been long time customers of Milts and have never been disappointed. When something is wrong with my car, I generally call them to get a better understanding of what to do next. Not only do they give me the time of day and the education I need to make the best decision moving forward, but they also are up front about what options will be cheapest for me, even if they aren't the ones servicing my car at the moment. I value that transparency.The other day I checked my car into Firestone for a diagnosis and possible battery replacement because I was an hour away from Milts. I called Milt's to ask them their advice for what to do next, and Tim made sure I asked the right questions to have Firestone prove to me that there was actually something wrong with my alternator. When I asked Firestone those questions, they put me on hold and later told me that they had the wrong file in front of them, and that it was only just a battery replacement!!! I cannot believe I was about to be ripped off $800+ for a fraudulent diagnosis! Thank GOD for Milts being able to guide me with no strings attached. I will continue to recommend them to everyone I know because they truly care for their customers.

Milt and his crew of mechanics are top-notch. (Lynette, his office asst, is very professional too) Three words that describe them: Honest, knowledgeable, and skilled. They ve handled several major repairs on two of my cars over the years including a cam shaft sensor replacement and oil sump pan replacement. Excellent diagnosing and explanation, reasonable pricing, and OEM quality shop work. Will always bring my vehicles to Milt for ALL maintenance and repairs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

New to the Arlington area, I was very skeptical about which repair shop to take my car too. I dropped my car off overnight and Sam called me and explained the repairs the next day.I expressed unease with the repairs and got a phone call from Milt directly. He took the time to listen to my rant and assured me the car was in the right hands. After his call I felt so much better I slapped an oil change on top of it!I appreciate the communication, the quick turnaround and most of all the care and teamwork at this shop!Thank you!

Over a month ago, I took my car in for an alternator repair. Three days later, I had a new alternator and received my car back. The price was reasonable as well. HOWEVER, my battery light came back on after just two days of having my car, so I returned it back to Milt. Turns out that I needed a new computer. It took Milt's Auto over a month to not only repair my computer, but they were lousy at giving updates on how my vehicle was. I had to call them almost every two days to see what was going on. It wasn't until today that I finally received my vehicle which was still not 100%. My rack and pinion is messed up (it wasn't when the car was given to them) and no one wanted to admit that they made a mistake that caused it to do so. I would not recommend getting ANY type of service done at Milt's Auto Repair unless you don't mind mediocre customer service.Services: Electrical repair, Electrical

Only mechanic I will ever use again!!!! Had about 20 incoming cars in front of me and I still got my car back within 3 days!!! Amazing service! Mr. Milton is very educated and understanding!! Didn t make fun of me for driving so hard ;) now my car is driving like NEW!!!Fianc� s engine was replaced here years ago and my grandmother just picked her car up last week for some maintenance! Do yourself a favor and GO TO MILTS!!!!

They were patient with me while I described the issue with my truck. Correctly identified what the dealership mis-identified (saving me hundreds)! Took the time to make sure the repair was done correctly and explained things to me. I appreciate their honesty and craftsmanship. Will definitely recommend and definitely be back.

Their work and service is always top notch. They are thorough and always go the extra mile to make your repairs as painless as possible. I own a business and they have always made sure that when I take my truck in that they turn it around as quickly as possible. They understand that without my truck I cant make money. I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs repairs or body work. You wont find a more honest repair shop.

This is a great, honest mechanic shop. The people here are honest and hard working. They also get the job done in a reasonable time frame. I will continue to use and recommend them to anyone needing mechanic services.

Tim the shop manager was very knowledgeable and was very thorough in fixing my truck. He understood that I was on a budget and went out of his way to make sure that my truck was fixed properly. I would recommend them to anyone that asks.

Horrible service they would never give you a call to tell you status in vechile. The lady would always say he was out to lunch or out of office. My car was fixed according to them and runs smooth. So we pick it up for it only to make it half way home before over heating. So obviously the didn t fix it and doesn t run smooth. They wanted to charge me 1600 more to fix the car. Now telling me i owe for tow and diagnostic since i didn t go with them to repair i found some to charge 1100. They are a rip off and the lady was calling me rude and laughing at me on the phone.

They seemed to be hard working and honest. Although when I did use them for the car I just bought, I had several questions for the owner. And he never was there when they said he would be. So I still have unanswered questions about a different vehicle.

Had an appt on tues 7a.m. to have the car back at 5 p.m. to go to work. Tomorrow is Friday & I hope they will finally look at it tomorrow & not tell me when I call "that if I dont like it I can bring it to another facility." I had it towed there after the owner gave me the appt. It needs a scope in the engine to see what fell in the cylinder besides the magnetic tipped wire.

These guys are great. While not the cheapest the around I feel that they are honest and dont try to oversell or create additional problems that woud force more repairs. I can usually drop off my truck the day before and it is ready the next day. I can also stop by and talk to Milt directly to discuss issues and plan what i need to have done. Highly recommend.

This place is always lying! They constantly will tell you that your car will be ready at one time and its always hours later-Ive had to sit up there for hours waiting on my car. The woman at the front is also not NICE AT ALL! She has no customer service skills what so ever. She will tell me they are working on my car-I drive down there-the cars in the same place I left it! SERIOUSLY-DO NOT SEND YOUR VEHICLE THERE! Their service and work are both shotty!

Worst experience ever. Never have I ever been so disrespected in my life from a receptionist. She yelled at me saying its not her fault that after we brought our car in for one problem not even two days later we have 3 more problems. So ridiculous.

Fast affordable work, been comming here for years across numerous owned vehicles, went it to replace a wheel hub bearing assembly and an oil pressure sender last month, was in and out in an hour and a half, only downside is they dont warranty their work
