Well, I gotta tell ya, brought my Mustang in with just reverse gear workin', and boy, let me tell ya, now she's runnin' smoother than a well-oiled machine! And would ya believe it, got it all fixed up for a darn good deal too! 5 outta 5 stars from me, super recommended, y'all!

all do is make u belive it'll be fixed have spent 2000 plus to get transmission fixed i have gone there for months because of warranty but even still they haven't been able to fix the problem too much money and time spent for nothing. terrible business they lie straight to your face

had my car for almost 11 weeks, shy by 4 days. did a transmission rebuild (without putting the actual parts they replaced on the invoice) and replaced my flywheel because they broke it while doing the rebuild? i m not even sure because the information ever given to me was very vague. after 10 weeks they gave my car back to my dealership, however when they went to check it and do an oil change they heard a noise and told me they (locomotive) forgot to replace the starter so they sent it back. week later i get it and what do you know, the starter does not sound good at all, so they messed that up because that definitely was not an issue before. and then a i go to open my trunk and it does not stay open anymore. i don t know why they would ve gone in there but it was not like that before the almost 11 weeks they had it. i m upset at my dealership for choosing this place.

I have sent hundreds of vehicles through this shop for transmission diag and repair and it s always a smooth transaction. They have been able to even work miracles in a few cases. All repairs and remanufacturing is done in house, couldn t take your car/Transmission to a better shop in the country.

Did my research and Locomotion is by far the hands down best place to get your transmission fixed. They have parts on deck and can replace, or rebuild on site. The turnaround is very quick. Go see them!

Those guys are excellent repairing transmissions. I left my car with a big problem and they fixed it. Also, they have 6 months of warranty and you can extend it, if you pay, for 6 months more. They need to be better with the communication, they are very nice but sometimes were difficult to know about my car and when it would be ready.

Wife wanted to keep her suv versus getting a new one so was recommended to them to repair her vehicle....long story short ended up getting her a new vehicle because she was at the point she was scared to drive it because they didn't repair it properly twice stalling and breaking down .

About 800 miles in after they rebuilt my transmission and so far so good. Was quoted about 1000 less than most other shops and had my torque converter upgraded as well. Had the job done in 2 days, just as they said they would. Good place!

I recently got my ram, 1500 transported to their facility after calling me a certain price I was told that more parts were needed and that it would be more. Every time I was called I was told another story I was told the truck was taken apart and was ready to be put back together and would be done in one to two days, it has now been more than three weeks. I had recently changed the cooling radiators as well and they were trying to sell me one for more than $500 when I had barely replaced it and no it is in good condition I am a tech with several ASE but don t have the time to fix it, which was the reason I sent it in the lack of professionalism, the lack of awareness the lack of respect for the customers time and money is baffling. I recently called to get more information of the truck and I am told that the truck has been done but yet I have not been called, while I ask the young man that to my understanding as a receptionist for the price of the repair, I am told that he does not know and that he needs a couple of minutes and he ll call me back after waiting more than three hours for a response I call again I tell them my name and what I hear from his voice angers me so much sorry sir what is your name again? I cannot find your vehicle and this young man has not even taking the time to figure out how much they re charging me, but yet they want me to drive more than 45 minutes to pick up my truck not know the price. As soon as I receive more information, I will make an update to this post, but as of right now, I would suggest you not waste your time, energy and patience with these people, the most unprofessional place I have ever been to.

The fact that every time I call no one ever knows what is going on with the vehicle . It gets annoying having to call 2 weeks straight And still have no answer on the behalf of whats going on with my vehicle. And when I call at 1700 they don t answer the phones at all.I ve called 19 times . How unprofessional.

Excellent service. I picked up my 04 Suburban today after having work done to the transmission and transfer case. This is the third vehicle that I have taken to Locomotion Transmission. Each time has been a positive experience. I don t live close to this shop, but I feel like their quality work and honest approach are worth the tow fee.I have sent many friends that needed transmission service to Locomotion. The owner, Mamo, is a honest and fair man. He expects the same from his employees. They do a very good job.I recommend this business.Service: Transmission repair

The mechanics they have over there are great, I have 2016 jeep renegade that started having transmission issues, nobody seemed to know what it had until I met the people at Locomotion. They repaired and gave me warranties. I just brought my wife's car now and they did the same great job. So... Your transmission sloping or fill like damaged?! Doesn't neccery means you have a problem with your transmission. Locomotion offer Free diagnostic to help understand what amd where is the issue. They busy, so you might will a bit or half a a day. But they Proffessinsnals, reliable. You can trust. Recommend!!

They don't keep you updated on your car at all why do I have to keep calling y'all when it's supposed to be the other way around!! Everytime I call them they say somebody supposed to been calling you there professional but they just need better communication.

This an update trans rebuilt only lasted 13 months real disappointed just out of warranty expected better. Had a second rebuild done tech said very poor work not all parts replaced, wont use again.Just had trans rebuild price was fair and did great job but they have tons of work and turn around time little slow . But will highly recommend them they are very polite and nice a very had thing to find in repair shops now days . I had high hopes for this place but had a really lame experience. Came in Saturday and asked about the free diagnostic. They told me they were getting ready to close and I should come back Tuesday first thing. Monday was Labor Day. Came in first thing in the morning. The lady at the front counter told me to fill out a sheet explaining what the issue was. IThey told me it was going to be half a day to give a written diagnosis. Cool. Leave them keys and head out. As the day went on I was curious about the status of my truck. I called about 4 in the afternoon to check on it. Someone picked up and said they had not gotten to it yet. Bad sign. So I get to the shop around 5:30. Nobody had called and the front desk lady didn t seem to remember or care. She called the guy who was supposed to do the diagnosis. I could hear him ask her what was written on the sheet of filled out earlier. He then said it would need to be rebuilt but that my truck was a very problematic year. All I heard was I m not confident in my work so I m setting the bar super low by giving you a million reasons why it s not going to be my fault when it breaks down. Asked for the estimate on paper. Didn t have one. Gave me a range from 1200 to 1700. Went to go grab my truck which was blocked in. Cold to the touch. Nobody ever even touched my truck all day. Never coming back.

I have a 2012 Nissan Maxima the transmission went out on it two years ago. I took it to Trophy Nissan and they gave me a estimate for about 5,000. At the time I wasn't in a position to paying that amount of money. I decided to get several others estimates and still over my budget. I decided to get another vehicle and deal with the repairs later. So two years later I was referred by a friend at work to check them out. I was expecting another costly estimate but to my surprise it ended up being 1850 to rebuild my transmission. I was still nervous because I literally took this vehicle to several shops and didn't get a deal close to that amount. I read some of the reviews on here prior which majority good but some negative. I decided to take a chance. They towed my vehicle for under 100.00 and it was ready within a week, surprisingly. Its now driving like a brand new car and so far no issues. The location is nice and I received a 5 star level of customer service. I'm one satisfied customer and will refer them to friends and family in the future. Thanks again Locomotion
