Went in to get a radiator replace the Work# was done, but did not express to me that it was a two fan radiator motor and I would need EFI to operate it for the second speed. My car ran hot a couple days ago while idling in my driveway I contacted Gary D s expressed to the service guy. It would be a couple of weeks with my work schedule. He offered to send a tow truck. I was under the impression that it was part of their service For the issue that occurred Once the car got to the shop, they expressed to me that I had a two speed fan that was the first time I had ever heard of it That was the reason why I ran hot I agreed to add EFI. I went to pick my car up in two days later they called me 4 days later expressing to me I owe 120.00 for a tow I was highly upset because I have free towing on my insurance. I thought it was simply part of their service because my car ran high and they didn t expressed to me that the fan needed EFI that they put on my car be aware. ask questions and purchase your own parts

I would not recommend coming here for any paint services. They have 40 years experience but couldn t even match the door I had them paint.I brought my vehicle in for a paint chip and got it back with another paint chip. I scheduled a week later to have it fixed and they let it sit all week and didn t even touch it with no communication. Why would they have me drop it off if they didn't have the paint to fix it. My truck is a white pearl and my door looks pink they said it will look better with time. So I had to take it to another shop and they repainted it and it matches perfectly now.

this place charged me a bunch of money for something i didn't even consent to have them do and after reporting them to the better business bureau because of that they went on to talk trash to me through that report and also made false claims about me. a while back i went in because my air conditioning wasn't working and i just wanted to know how much it would cost to fix it. also there was a leak in one of my tires and i asked if they could fix it. but yeah the whole place gave me bad vibes the second i came in because the front door guy was looking at me like "who the hell are you and what are you doing here" or something like that. also when talking to them they didn't seem very knowledgeable at all about what they were doing. they couldn't give me an estimated wait time or anything. ended up not getting a call until later the next day and they told me they did something to figure out the problem and gave me a total to fix everything. i said i couldn't do it right this minute so i went to pick up my car. they ended up telling me it would be $300 to get my car back because of labor and the cost of them recharging my air conditioning unit or something like that. they never asked me if they could do that. also they told me because of where the damage is on the tire that they can't fix it and i would need a brand new one. so yeah i left feeling upset and ended up calling them and asking for a refund and telling them i wanted to talk to the owner. the owner did eventually reach out to me but everyone ultimately denied me of any kind of refund. so yeah the crazy thing about that is i had taken my car to another shop a week earlier and they gave me an estimate to fix everything for free. also i ended up taking my car to a hole in the wall tire shop and they were able to patch up my tire quick with no issues. this just goes to show that gary d's is not the best place to take your car. not only that but the way they have handled me being upset has been so unprofessional and immature that it blows my mind. bringing up things that have nothing to do with the issue at hand and making false accusations to me about having to ask me to leave the store. they didn't even know i was upset until i called them after i had already left. so yeah i can't even believe that all played out the way it did but i guess that's how they handle things. i strongly advise everyone to stay away from them and go somewhere else. there are plenty of better places in the area.

I have been going to Gary D's since 2006 and I am a customer for life. The best auto shop, owners and mechanics in the entire world!! I have been coming here since 2006.Dustin and Mr. Gary and the workers care like no other auto shop that I have been too. I am so grateful and thankful for them. Had an issue driving home with a new to me Cadillac overheating. Thankfully was right next door to Gary D s. Guys went above and beyond to make sure I got low coolant filled up and was able to limp home. Dustin drove me back over to give a thorough visual inspection to make sure I wouldn t get down the road a bit and run into the same issue. Above and beyond by a guy who knows his stuff. Wish I could have just left the car with them to diagnose and repair.

Gary D's Auto is the best place in the metroplex to take your vehicle for any sort of repair. They are knowledgeable, quick, honest, and have great customer service. I am so grateful for them and all they have done for me. Five stars is not enough.

Had a great experience with Gary D s and their staff. Very knowledgable. They were able to fix my daughters tire and alignment in a tight timeline. Really appreciate their efforts to getting our car the next day.

After posting on the Nextdoor app (over a weekend) and getting my questions answered about what was happening with my vehicle, I decided to give Gary D's Auto a try. They were so nice and helpful. They even had a loaner vehicle for me to use. I had called the dealership and they did quote me a price and said it would take 2 days to get the part in and do the work (and no loaner vehicle). Gary D's came in $500 under the dealership price and had it done same day! I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Found my shop!!! Smart. Knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable. Took it here after a chain (CBro s) couldn t figure it out..the owner diagnosed it in 30 seconds flat. Butter my biscuit, I am thrilled.

Gary's team is competent, efficient, full of integrity, and eager to serve. They were the third auto repair place I visited to address a racket emanating from my front end. They received me as a walk-in and quickly diagnosed the problem. They were the most thorough and specific in their diagnosis of all the shops I consulted. Their estimate was the lowest of the three. When I brought the car in, they fixed it in half the time they had asked me to set aside and their final cost was UNDER their estimate! I highly recommend them. They earned a loyal customer today.

I HIGHLY recommend Gary D's Automotive.My SUV spent a month at a dealership and a couple of weeks at two another repair shops and they couldn't figure out why my check engine light was on. Gary D's figured it out and fixed it. They are my heroes. I won't take my vehicle anywhere else. Very professional and reasonable. Thank you TJ, Gary and all the guys. You are the best.

They are very fair and affordable. Friendly staff, VERY quick service. Had a gas leak and damaged exhaust system, they expected to have the vehicle for about a week (due to shipping parts) and we expected the same. Very shocked when we got a call saying our vehicle was ready the next day. Wouldn't take my vehicle anywhere else.

Gary D's does great body work. We had them repair hail damage on one of our company vehicles and the cost was lower than any of the other estimates that we received and the work they did was terrific. Will definitely use them again.

Took my Vehicle in after an accident the people there were friendly and courteous. They did an awesome job and my vehicle looks like new again. They are awesome and I would recommend them highly. Thanks Gary D!!

Great Shop. I took my 2008 Jeep liberty in because i damaged my pressure line that goes from the compressor to the condenser and they were able to fix it in less that 6 hrs and charge me less that 300. They also checked the system for any other leaks and recharged my system. Gary was great and very informative on the cooling system. TJ is also awesome. Thanks guy, will be taking my vehicle in for other work that's needed in the future.

An auto mechanic friend recommended Gary D's to me nearly 20 years ago when a daughter had a bit of a mishap in front of the high school. This is typically not a place you seek to frequent, but it's good to know they're still there and providing super service anytime they are needed. Two other daughters have needed them this year alone. They do fantastic work and are very confident in working to make sure the insurance company takes care of you. I love these guys!

Great place. Always got the get it done attitude. I took my car in and they worked diligently to fix it. They didn't charge me a crao tone of money either. They cost 1/4th of the dealer.

I never thought I would find an auto mechanic that I can truly say I love Gary D's is the best shop I have ever used. I use them for my company vehicles at Jones x-ray and all the personal vehicles in my family. They do great work, their prices are fair and if they make a mistake they make it right you just can't ask for more!
