"I recently visited Crawford & Bargas for suspension upgrades on my truck and I have to say, they did an amazing job! The team at Crawford & Bargas was professional, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure my truck was in top shape. UPDATE: they did not install all the screws to hold the motor in where it connects to the transmission! It cost $2,300 at the dealership to have it repaired luckily it didn't damage the motor or the transmission! And to have the audacity to tell me you were going to charge me just to look at it I can't help but wonder if it was an attempt to scam me for more work to be done. This business hasn't been the same since the old owner left. Strongly recommend you find somewhere else to take your vehicle.I had a motor Replaced on Mitsubishi Montero.Just short of 90 days afterwards the whole motor started making a very loud metal on metal noise. When I contacted them regarding looking at it they said they would but it would probably cost me more money because I ordered the motor, which was checked when it arrived and told me it was in really good shape. I told them there was no way I was going to Fork out any more money after I just paid them $2,600 and it was obvious they made a mistake. Took it to dealership and they said it was NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY! The business is no longer owned by the original owner.And the shop is no longer a respectable business. I have taken to the dealership for repairs. Do not give them your business this isn't the first time they've done us wrong. Looking into attorney to sue!

First time taking my vehicle into Crawford & Bargas and I was super impressed! Not only are they thorough & professional but they are so down to earth, fun to speak with & will take the time to explain the process. Clean, organized shop & my vehicle was repaired same day! Highly recommend!

I ve been going to Crawford and Bargas for about 15 years and they have worked on numerous vehicles of mine over the years. They are honest, reliable, and just wonderful to deal with. I've never really used this place myself just based on their setup they don't look like they would be the most affordable mechanics in the world, however I do know people that have used them and have very little bad to say about their service. It also seems that a lot of the automotive places that sell cars along division or elsewhere in the Arlington area use these guys as their their primary mechanic when their customer cars need work. Primarily this is how I wind up at this place they always have some really really cool vintage cars or motorcycles outside for sale, usually for way too much. But it still need to see all that stuff they have something outside most days

I have been taking my cars and trucks to Crawford & Bargas for repair work for more than 15 years. Those vehicles include foreign and American cars and a diesel pickup. The mechanics and technicians at C&B are genuine experts at diagnosing what s wrong and making effective repairs for any problem on any vehicle. But most importantly, you can trust that they will tell you honestly what s really wrong with your car. (No expensive and unnecessary brake jobs.) The staff there is friendly and efficient, and they ll even give you a ride back home when you drop off your car. And their prices are always reasonable. So I refuse to go anywhere else when my cars and trucks need work.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I m not sure how to feel about this business, I mean it s OK but I left my truck with them and all of the engine work was done but I guess they forgot to do an oil change and that should have been done after engine work anyway. It took a while for them to finish (2-3 weeks)the first time but I had to bring it back and that took days (4days) to do as well which it was only for an oil change and a tuneup. After being gone for a couple of days one of the things that they supposedly fixed ended up messing up again so I m not sure what to say about this business honestly it would not be my first choice to bring my vehicle again I might have to just get it done at another repair shopServices: Engine repair, Air conditioning, Oil change

Save your time, money, energy, and sanity. If you bring your car here for diagnostics, be prepared to stay with your car or they will begin to work on your car with out your permission and then expect you to pay for it. NEVER AGAIN will my car set tire on this CHOP shops property. If I had read these reviews prior, I wouldn't have dared let my husband bring my car here. And then they lied about 1 hour labor costing $100 an hour when the process of what they "cleaned" with my taillights doesn't even take 15 minutes to complete. Then he said he'd get me out of there for $57.50 and charged me $115. Never again.

I used to bring my vehicles here pretty regularly and the guys were always nice. I had an issue once again and of course took my vehicle there. I hadn't been in a couple of years but pretty quickly learned they are under new management. I drove my vehicle there to have a cam shaft looked at and by the time I had to have it towed away and $2600 later. The vehicle was no longer operable. I dealt with them for onwards of 3 months. These men are crooks, they charged me $2600 and my car ran better before it got there...it is no longer usable!!! Please Please Please....stay away. They will destroy your vehicle and lie to you.

Crawford & Bargas IMHO is THE BEST auto and truck repair shop in the DFW area. My wife called asking for a price on replacing brake pads and resurfacing rotors on our front axle. They said to bring it in, and they wouldn't charge anything until they had given us a price and we had agreed to it. They called and said it would be $856, which is double the going rate (again, for just one axle). I came in and said that the price was too high, so I would be picking up the vehicle. The man in the office wrote up an invoice for $57.50 claiming that his worker had to "take everything apart" to find out that it needed new brake pads and the rotors resurfaced. I told him that he and I both know you don't have to take brakes apart to find that out, and it just takes a glance under the vehicle. After yelling questions at me and then interrupting when I tried to answer, he said "are you going to pay me $57.50 and get your car back, or are we going to argue until 5 o'clock".

Huge thanks to Crawford and Bargas!! Will, Jack, Rusty and the rest of the team are FANTASTIC! Fixed my AC in the middle of summer. I dropped my car off with no appointment, Jack gave me a ride home in a stylish convertible and it was fixed the NEXT day! The parts and labor was fairly priced and I felt secure in knowing they pull all of the cars in at night. Fingers crossed I don t have any more car troubles, but if I do, I know exactly where to take it!

Use to be a very good place when the original owners were there. This guy purchased the business and kept the name but he is very rude. Took my car for AC repair, leaking transmission coolant fluid and leaking steering fluid. The prices are outrageous and the service is terrible. AC leak was not repaired but they charged me over $100 to fix a leak on the service cap. They did not fix anything as a visible leak on the condenser line was still there. There was no leak on the service cap. Transmission coolant leak was on a metal line near radiator and they fixed with a rubber hose and it is still leaking. Charge over $100 to put that rubber hose on a metal line but I asked them to repair with a metal line. Steering pump lines were leaking and they had to call me for the part and charged over $200 to replace the rubber hose that required no parts to be removed. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS PLACE!!! THE TECHS DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT CARS!!!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Air conditioning

Just used them to help me buy a car for my oldest son. They are very friendly and worked in me in without my asking due to unusual circumstances with the seller. They did a great job and I have every confidence in their inspection. I will definitely be using them in the future. Highly recommended.

I recently bought a used Jeep Wrangler from Don Davis, it immediately started having problems and I was constantly getting the run around from their service dept,. they were totally trying to take advantage of me. Thankfully a friend recommended Crawford & Bargas! I called and spoke to Rusty told him what was going on he got me in right away! They told me exactly what was going on. He explained everything to me and what needed repairs and why it had to be repaired, which was a lot less than what the other place kept telling me, and saved me $600!! They are honest, so very friendly, respectful and professional. I am a woman, and I do not know anything about the mechanics of a car (not that a woman can't be knowledgeable of cars)...but I have no desire to.....having said that....it's nice to know that there's a place I can go and not have to worry about being taken advantage of! I will definitely be using them for all of my automotive needs! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

If you are looking for someone who will listen and fix what is the actual problem. Rusty and his Team are the best. They never let me down and give great advice when tight with cash. Finding a great mechanic can be like finding a needle in a hay stack but they are truly great and they know what they are doing. I am a female senior citizen who was treated harshly by the owner so 1 star is too much. I had taken my pick up truck here because my church had helped me get it fixed previously. Everyone was very friendly at that time, but NOT this visit. My check engine light was on & diagnostic done by my son with 4 different codes thrown; each had to do with a module. I really thought the problem would be covered by my warranty. However, C&B let me know differently. They told me the problem was my spark plugs & cables which would be $323.55 & that the warranty people said they would not cover it. This was around 2 pm the same day. I informed him we would pick up the truck as I do not have the money to fix it. He said ok. I asked what time he closes & he said 5 o'clock & then I said ok. My friend said she would take me to pick up the truck after her doctor appointment. When we walked in @ 4:53pm the owner was with another customer and was very respectful with him; we waited patiently for our turn. The customer before us decided to leave his vehicle. The owner then asked how he could help us & I began with we are here to pick.....he yelled out WE ARE CLOSED!! My friend told him there was no need to disrespect me like that & he began yelling at her. She told him she was a military vet & did not deserve to be treated like this. He yelled at her & saying SO WAS I YOU B___CH! We told him we would be doing a review in which he replied smartly "Oh, we like reviews". As we were leaving he was still yelling I HAVE A FAMILY TO GET HOME TO & I AM NOT STAYING LATE! YOU F___ING B___CH as he was throwing things inside the office. They told me the cost to get my truck was for diagnostics that my son sent from his professional tool as they had said that would be very helpful; $100. Rusty called me the following morning to say I would need to pay cash; no checks or credit cards accepted even though they do accept checks and credit cards. My son went with me to get my truck. I asked for a copy of the diagnostic & to my amazement was told "let me see what I can make up for you". What I received was not a copy of the report, but an invoice stating 1.00....DIAGNOSE/SCOPE.....100.00 that was typed up right in front of me. They were paid $100.00 cash for something they did not do. It was cash so I could get my vehicle back from them without a proper diagnosis & I will not have any vehicle of mine, family, or friends return to this place . Oh and my son changed out the wires & found the source so they also misdiagnosed the issue. So unless you enjoy verbal abuse and being treated poorly, I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Brakes were checked and they verified that I needed rear brakes and let me know I had a month or two left on the front brakes. I had both axles replaced the same day!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Good ol' boys. Had them review and fix the check engine light issue on my car. What they quoted was what I paid, no surprises there and issue was fixed. Took my son's truck a few weeks later, so far no issues with it as well.

Needed emergency repair brake work done. Rusty at this place listened to me and heard panic in my voice, and he came to the rescue. He informed me that once the vehicle was towed to his repair shop he would quickly diagnose the issue, and he did. After a short time, hehad me back on the road. The cost of repairs was nominal and fair.I can't say enough about Crawford & Barrasso Automotive.I received excellent from Rusty & his guys.I would recommend C & B Automotive to anyone needing work on their vehicle.

I have a 93 Ford Bronco and there are not many people that are willing to work on it because they just don't have the experience. Crawford and Bargas has experienced mechanics that know what they are doing and it is the only shop that I will allow to touch my baby. They are always able to fix what ever ales her even after I try to fix her! Their prices are extremely reasonable and I usually have her back in a couple of days at the most. Honest hard working folks is what you hope for and that's what you get here.
