Took my SUV for a nail removal from the tire, SUV started showing balancing issues. Took it back they said it needs tire rotation and balancing. I said do it, they did. I drove it home, the whole car started showing mis-alignment steering far left on its own! Called them before I even get home, told me we don t align cars and they had nothing to do with the mis-alignment!!I am very disappointed with Costco Tire Center. Not a reflection of what I know of Costco s customer service!!!

Today 11/26/23 I called at 4:20 to ask if I can come in to get two tires replaced. I told him I would get there in about 20 minutes. The manager said it was ok. When I arrived he said I was late and past the 20 minutes. I drove from Mansfield to Arlington just to hear him say I was late 5 minutes and he cannot take us in. He wasted my time and my gas during rush hour too. If he could not get me in, he just had to say no on the phone. I decided to take my business to Sam s club and was able to get in at 5:10. On top of this, my tires were significantly cheaper and they were better quality. Save yourself time and money and go to Sam s. I should have went here first to begin with.

i order my tires on friday, 03/29/2024. I received an email the next day stating my tires have been delivered so i called and scheduled an appointment for today, 04/03/2024 to be installed. when i get there they advised me that my tires did not get delivered and they can just put a different size tire on my car but i just have to be careful driving.. i am leaving out of town friday and now have to scramble last minute to find somewhere else who have the correct tire size for my car. Then they told me because we used my husband s card he has to bring the card in to get the refund. My husband shows up and they told him they started the refund process already and he did not have to go up there. Very unprofessional and definitely no common sense in this location from employee, supervisor and manager. Avoid if you dont want to waste your time. Seriously.

I went to this location around 7 pm today Fri November 24 it is the day after the Thanksgiving, it wasn't busy at all, I had a flat tire. the person at the tire center was unprofessional and unhelpful he didn't help and he said we stop receiving cars at 6 while all the bays where visibly empty! but he didn't like to do his job. You are close at 8:30 and you don't have any car you are working on and I have like an emergency thing for a flat tire, it was disappointing to encounter such laziness, especially considering I had purchased my car tires from Costco including the service for flat tires repair.

On Jan 19th, 2023, I went to the Costco on Arbrook, I had a flat tire the day before and needed to get a new tire, it was almost 8pm, Eli was the gentleman there, I explained my situation to him, and after consulting with the other gentlemen, they were kind enough to put the two new tires on for me. Thank you Eli and all your coworkers helped me on the night of Jan 19th.

Short staffed but hard workers. Takes some time as a walk in, sometimes longer than quoted, usually due to rude people slowing them down and causing a scene

Terrible customer service. The attendants are rude and are not willing to give details. Asked them about the tire condition and the answer was nothing to worry about. Asked again about the tread for all the tires, one attendant thought about helping and looking at the car but another stopped him, looked at me and said that they are busy. Went back to my car and started driving it and start hearing screeching sounds. Probably will have to take it to a real mechanic. Recommend going to other Costco locations.

Yeah this was bad. I came in for appointment for 11:30am today with Matt. I told him I had an appointment. I asked him the wait time and he said an hour and 45 minutes. A bit surprising but I rolled with it. I payed for the rotation and balanced. I asked him to reassure me that if the tires needed to be replaced they would tell me. He said yes. I show up at 2:20pm and ask if my car had been put on the shop yet. Another representative say no. I speak with the manager, austin. It turns out that Matt wrote me down as a walk in. Austin refunds me the money for the rotation and balance (I appreciate that). At 2:55pm they tell them are pulling out my car. I asked do the tires need to be replaced. The representative says yeah didn t they call you? At this point I need to leave to get my daughter who gets out at 3:30pm. Who would have known that if you show up for a 11:30am appointment to have your tires inspected that you would have bald tires put back on your car with nothing to show for it at 3pm.

Used to be a better place and service. Not satisfied. I ordered tires from Costco but not happy with the installation. Even Walmart would do the installation better. I found a scratch on one of my rims, all tires covered in some sort of glue. Tire pressure is incorrectly set and TPMS is not seeing anything. Probably forgot to reset my TPMS. Took them 2h although I scheduled my appointment 2 weeks in advance. Not sure what's going on there but I gave them some credit in my review: 2 stars. One for poor experience and one credited.

Poor customer service and racist staff. We have had them service our car doing tire rotations and replacements in the past, and each time there was something unsatisfactory about the service but we still give them chances. However today s rude treatment from staff was the last straw. I called in advance to make an appointment for my mom who needed help checking tire pressure and putting air in the tires. The employee on the phone refused to make the appointment and told me I can drive in to the air pump station any time, and if we needed help or didn t know how to do it we could ask any of the tire shop staff for assistance. My mom came in the morning today and asked the employees to help her like the guy on the phone said, each one refused to help show her how to do it. They could have told her to wait a bit if they were busy, but instead they got annoyed said to make an appointment which directly contradicted what we were told over the phone. She explained what the previous employee said and that we did try to make an appointment, they did not care. They did not even direct her to someone who could help make an appointment and just walked off. All employees at this point began to ignore her. How are you going to tell us we can t make an appointment for the specific service over the phone, then tell us otherwise when we show up and refuse to help?? Management should be ashamed of how poorly trained your staff are in customer service. In the end we got help from another costco client. This man was going to buy stuff but stopped to help us. He and his friend said they have witnessed racism from these tire shop employees as they do not like to help POC. Will never use this Costco tire service again!

Incredible folks hold down the fort here! Huge shoutout to the dude who practically strolled to the ends of the Earth to rescue my lost car, and to the genius who declared my tires totally chill and gave me a refund your awesomeness doesn't go unnoticed!

I don't know what's the purpouse of making appointments if they serve your car 1 hour later.When you come here you have to be asking like every 30minutes on a update of your car or you'll wasting your time.

Stood in line to talk to a rep for 45mins with an appointment 2 months in advance for a tire rotation. Took them 2.5 hours to do the job. I was here over 3 hours for a tire rotation. Do not buy tires from here. Not worth the time it takes. I will only do business with discount tire from now on.

Called discount tires but was told another price than was previously given. Immediately called Costco on Arbrook in Fort Worth, tx spoke to Ethan who said I would have a wait to get my tires balanced since I didn't have an appointment.The wait was not as long as I expected for my car to be finished. Well worth the wait.

The service is a lil slow due to 25min in line dropping my car off to have tires put on. Besides that it look about an hour and 20mins to have 4 tires put on. Not bad. Also, tire rotations are free which I like. Recommended!

Had a very low tire. Road hazard is included as I purchased my tires at Costco. Friday night with no appointment. They got me in, fixed the tire and back on the road in two hours. I am very happy with the service I received.

Went from 5 stars a year ago to 2 stars today. Brought the truck in to see about getting the tires rotated. Standing in line, and they keep answering phone calls that rang after I (and others) are standing right there waiting. Very disorganized and a waste of time. Will have to take it to a different Costco, and when it's time for replacement tires, we'll just buy them somewhere else.

SICK and TIRED (pardon the pun) of the way Costco Tire and Battery does business! Let me say that we have been members of Costco since they first opened in Arlington. We have been very pleased with the staff and management. I believe Costco corporate, has changed the way the do business. Just like they have dropped they very popular sausage and drink combo, they have dropped the good Road Hazard Warranty.The latest Road Hazard Warranty is worse than useless. The short is that they have a VERY NARROW area in the center of the tread that they will attempt a repair, and force you to buy a new tire, prorated of course. Costco has figured out that they do not make money on repairs, it costs them! They have pay for an employ to demount the tire, clean and scuff the inside, put on a patch and let it vulcanize, remount, rebalance and reinstall. Patches in the INSIDE of the tire, above the tread, not sidewall, are safe! They quote a national organization's guidelines to sell you more tires. We continue to take our repairs to a local shop to have patches done, and they last until we need new tires.And as for the batteries, their warranty used to be 5 years, with the first 3 years exchanged without cost, the last 2 prorated. Now, they prorate the first 3 years, and you have to buy a new battery. If the price of the battery increased, you pay the higher price. Costco sold Interstate batteries, made in the US. Then they moved to a Kirkland brand, and now Interstate batteries made in Mexico. Ever since they moved from the US Interstate batteries, our batteries have not lasted as long and often do not last a full 3 years. They are selling an inferior battery and gutted their warranty.While Costco Tire and Battery has been convenient for us, it is no longer an option for the informed consumer. Service and support, on a corporate level, has deteriorated to such an extent that it detracts from Costco's renowned reputation. What's next, no more Supreme pizza and no more sheet cakes? Oh yeah, their gone too!

Ridiculous waiting times when you have an appointment. We wanted 42 minutes in line. Not worth buying tires of this is the outcome for a tire rotation.

Thinking of buying tires from Costco? GOOGLE COSTCO TIRE COMPLAINTS and it will likely change your mind. I bought a set of Michelin tires for my wife's car. The 1st tire rotation was accidentally over their recommended mileage but I was told by the service advisor at that time that it was no problem as long as I did the remaining rotations as scheduled. I found out today (4 tire rotations later and all of them on schedule) contrary to what I was told, they voided the warranty the day of the 1st tire rotation. I asked to speak w/ the manager Dom Sipe and he said he wasn't sure why they voided the warranty after telling me they would not void the warranty and could not do anything about it. I will NEVER buy another set of tires from Costco and hopefully this review helps someone else avoid the same bad buying decision I made.

RUDE, poor customer service AND extremely slow. Warranty on tires SUCK and on top of that, they said we recvd copies of the warranty we NEVER RECVD and called us liars and we had copies of everything we recvd from the previous service. WE WILL NEVER do business with them again!

Called at 7:30 pm to see if they could get me in since I had a nail in my tire and I'm a delivery driver. Everyone else was already closed. The guy said "well you can but you'd make the people here stay late. We have 4 or 5 other cars to do." They close at 8:30. Look my man, that's not how you talk to customers. Sorry to "inconvenience" you...

Great customer service, as you would expect from Costco! The tire techs are very friendly and knowledgeable. With an appointment they usually get you in and out within an hour.

Had my car stop on me again. Had purchased battery at Costco. Wish they would change them, but understand their reasons. Received a new battery and got it in the car.

The service was good. I made an appointment for an examination to see if I had a puncture and it went smoothly. It did take almost an hour which is almost how long it takes without an appointment. I didn't see a difference.

Costco Is my bulk haven. I strongly suggest if you don't already have a Costco membership. I use it for everything.from food, cleaning products, to bedding. and who doesn't love free sample

I had a flat tire on the interstate and Costco was the closest to get my tire fixed .I had to buy a membership but the tire people was good with working with me and got me in and out fast.

They were super busy but handled everyone with professionalism and efficiency. Worked was performed wonderfully. Communication was perfect.
