American is class personified they are quick, efficient, professional, reliable and trustworthy the customer service from sayed Ahmed and pops is outstanding I ve had a motor put in my vehicle along with numerous other issues and I always leave happy they are truly one of the best if not the best car repair shop in arlington I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for great auto repair services I ll be going back as long as I have a vehicle

I've taken my car here twice, once for a major repair after a botched theft attempt and once for an electrical issue, and had really good experiences both times. They kept me updated regarding my repairs, got the car fixed quicker than expected, and had very reasonable prices. These guys have taken care of my family s cars for years and treated them like family. They went above and beyond to make sure my sister and mother s cars were fixed. The second I arrived at American Auto Tech I new this guy was going to be a smooth sailing experience. The employees greeted me with a smile and were able to take care of me quickly. Their service is top notch and the work is the best I ve ever seen. They quickly diagnosed and fixed the my car. I had an engine knock resulting from a timing chain issue on my Mercedes and they were able to take care of it the same day. Absolutely love this place! One of the best mechanic shops i ve been to by far. The staff were so kind , quick, and professional. They were very transparent about the whole process and what needed to be done. It s rare you find this service anywhere else. This is one of my best experience with car maintenance! The staff is very competent, honest and friendly!They are one hour away from my house but I prefer to maintain my car by them and have a peace of mind !They handle most of the car brands with main focus in German cars (Mercedes & BMW)!They do state inspection!

I drove 7 hours from Kansas for a weekend here in Arlington. Unfortunately my truck started acting up due to bad wheel bearing. I walked in and the owner was so kind and gave my infant son and I a ride back to our hotel. Truck was fixed in less then two hours and he even came back to pick us up once the repair was done. Exceptional service and such a kind soul, I applaud this owners work ethic and kind heart and I feel like he went above and beyond. Price was fair and I m happy to give him my business.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Its hard for me to get to this shop because I live so far, but these are hands down the most genuine people I have ever met. Finding someone honest who won't try to get over on you is dang near impossible. I don't feel like a customer when I come I honestly feel like family. And just so everyone knows I'm not writing to help reviews. I'm being completely honest. If you have a foreign car like me and you want quality work everyone I promise you this is the best place

The best mechanic shop I've ever been to!! The mechanics and the manager are all great and super helpful, they were able to figure out the problem i had right away and provide the right solution. I come here for my oil change/ inspection and I'm in and out before I know it. Great place overall. Sayed at American Auto Tech is a life saver! I cannot tell you how grateful I am for what they did for my daughters car. She is young and did not realize the importance of only using premium gas for her car and regular oil changes. We took her car to two other shops trying to figure out the problem. They both told us other things and charged us over $2,000, but her car still was not working properly. We finally had the car towed to American Auto Tech and they immediately told us she blew the engine. The other shops told us it was a tune up, parts, transmission, and oil change. They found us a new engine very quickly and charged us a fair price to get it replaced. They kept in constant communication with us. Since then, we have taken my BMW there for regular maintenance and even my husbands Maserati. They can work on high end cars and do great work. I recommend them to my friends, family members and strangers all the time. Sayed is a life saver!EDIT:Since my last post 9 months ago, my husband's Maserati was hit by a truck. We took his car to Sayed and they have done an amazing job with the bodywork to put his car back together. Sayed worked directly with the insurance company to make sure we had a strong estimate in order to make sure we had the correct amount to cover the repairs. Once again, I cannot say enough about Sayed and American Auto Tech. They're taking care of all the cars of our family members for 5 years. Abdul is absolutely great and super experienced. No surprises on the bill and no worries after service. Highly recommended.

I have a 2006 bmw m5.I am a business owner my self, and i have high expectations coming from a 4.9 rated business.I took my bmw to 2 different mechanic shops and they both pushed me to the side . One of them told me it had bad compression , so i took it to another shop. The other shop said the vanos was throwing off the timing chain. (I am mechanically inclined and there was just no way that made sense to me).Finally i took it here and dealt with Ahmed. Let me just say, WHAT AN AMAZING GUY! He talked to me and informed me they will diagnose it and check it out for me. He came back with multiple misfires and did a compression test, leading us to the issue of bad coils and spark plugs. They saved me a ton, i was quoted $6000 for repairs from the other shops. I left this shop paying only $750!! God bless them, and may god bring them much more business. Thank you once again Ahmed. You are awesome!

Brought my car in the car ran hot. Towed it in they do diagnostic and estimate cooling hose. They advise 354.00 the labor hose under engine. I advise to go fix it. They call to pick it up ready to go. First can't find the key then they find it have it running with key in it. I get in the check engine light is on. I turn it off and on 3 times check engine light. I go back in and show and advise no something is wrong never had check engine light on. Well he says well its fine go and drive it. I insist I am not taking it with the check engine light on. Leave it there for them to check. The next day they call and say engine no good.Had the nerve to say we tell you this . where is that in writing.no no you didn't. Who would fix a hose if you told them engine was no good. Also why would you tell me to pick up and drive it if engine was no good. Worst service ever ..went it engine was fine engine no good so I had to tow it. Need my money back. who does business that way
