Acme Garage is great. Long time customer 1st time to post. Posting is just not my thing. But, they have literally saved me thousands over going someplace else. My son' truck transmission was going out, they noticed when I did not that the transmission was still in warranty for 81 more miles and instead of charging me $3500 for a new transmission they sent us to the dealership to have it done under warranty. They did not charge us a dime for checking it out. In addition to the fact that they do an honest job for an honest price every single time I take in a vehicle. Service is fast and friendly. They have been around since I was a teenager with my first car.

These people are the best!! I am so glad I found them! They are honest, reliable, hard-working, reasonably priced AND easy to talk to and when it comes to car repair, that is so important to me. Highly recommend and no complaints here!

My husband called to see if this auto garage would do an oil change on a boat. To our surprise they said they could. When we asked about the price they said $100 an hour and that it would take about an hour or so. We even provided all the oil as well as the 6 spark plugs that needed to be replaced. Zero parts or equipment was used from them. Too our surprise my husband goes to pick up the boat and it s $293. Wow!! We have a jet boat with two motors so I can see how the time could be more than an hour but they charged me for 3. A call or a heads up would have been more appropriate. Not to mention when we came to pick it up, the back was completely lifted up where the motors are and there was dirt inside the boat that we just spent over 6 hours cleaning. I would never take a car, boat, or even a motorcycle here ever again.

Lived here in Arlington since '85. Passed by Acme for years and years. I always thought it looked like a cool location but never really needed a mechanic. Well, Angie and her crews get me right in and do great work! Trustworthy, fair price, great results- what more could you ask!

ACME replaced the transmission in my Jeep Wrangler. They completed the work well ahead of the promised date. The transmission was supposed to take weeks to arrive. I got a call from them only a few days later saying the job was complete. The Jeep has run flawlessly for several months no. No issues whatsoever. They are also incredibly nice people.Service: Transmission repair

We have used Acme garage for several years but recently moved to Keller. We had an oil leak on our 2001 Toyota 4Runner but was having trouble trying to find time to get it to Acme so we thought we would give a small shop on Davis Blvd a shot at it because it was close to our house. Well after dropping it off one morning I received a call from them a few hours later with an estimate of around 1800.00 bucks for what they said was several oil leaks, oil pan, intake manifold etc. I told them I could buy a lot of oil for that that amount and they no problem no charge just come get it. I found time to drop it off at Acme on a Sunday evening so they would have it first thing Monday morning. Before noon we had a call from Cross at Acme who said your vehicle is ready and that there was no charge that the oil filter was loose and that is where the leak was from. If you want a shop that is honest and fair priced Acme is the shop for you. Highly recommend them.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Curtis and his staff are the most amazing, honest, and consistent shop out there. We took our car in because of a ticking timing chain, and they called us back and told us it was way worse than we thought, that our engine would need to be rebuilt, and that we should probably just get rid of the car....and here is the best part..THEY DID NOT CHARGE US! What auto shop does that? They could have had us over a barrel for months dealing with all the engine issues that were about to pop up...but, instead they warned us, and didn't charge us for the diagnosis. My family has been using them for years...we will ALWAYS use Acme.Service: Engine repair

These guys are fantastic! Changed out spark plugs in my daily car and replaced a stolen cat converter on my RV (and did some custom cable welding around the new one to keep it safer from thieves). Cross and Jessica run a really great little service shop. They do phenomenal work, and are great about communicating.They did an estimate for me to have my brake pads replaced and checked on my power steering.I was told they had to order parts and they wouldn't be able to get it finished by the weekend so they asked if I would like to pick my car up in case I needed it.Great family business, really worthwhile people.Pleasure to do business here.

My wife and I absolutely love the team at Acme. They give honest diagnostics, are Christian oriented, and when they complete a repair you don't have reoccurring issues with that same part the very next month like with some shops. They do have a ton of trees on their property with limited space however, so it is a possibility that your car may be covered in tree sap and leaves when you pick it up. Otherwise, great place!

Outstanding service. Very professional. Honor their word. Definitely my go to machanic from now on.Diagnosed my backup camera issue in a few hours. Ordered replacement part same day. They got my car in the first time I was available. Installed the new camera in less than three hours. Entire diagnosis, obtain part, and installing part took 5 days.I had taken my car to a local Jeep dealer. I was told they needed to keep the car up to 5 days just to diagnose the problem.Cannot recomment this place enough.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Wow! Can not recommend them enough. My car had me stalling on the highway and could not exceed 40mph. I was freaking out because I need my car for work. I read their reviews and they seem promising, most places I called couldn t see me until the following week. I called Acme and they asked me if I could bring it today but they let me know they might not be able to look it at same day, understandable. Well, I dropped my car off at 12 and by 4:30 they had called to let me know they had determined the problem and provided me an extremely reasonable price and asked if I wanted to proceed. By 5:15 the issue was resolved and my car ready to pick up. The entire process was seamless, very professional and have found my new mechanic!

I have been looking for somewhere to take my truck for a while. Being a mature woman, I have found that I'm a target for being taken advantage of when it comes to vehicle repairs. The mechanics and Angie are the BEST. I will never go anywhere else. For the last 22 years, the only place that we take our cars to is Acme Garage, off Pleasant Ridge. Cross is the owner, his dad Curtis ran it, and his dad Leon opened up the shop in 1972. They are honest, friendly, and they do a great job.

Service was excellent and priced well. The mechanics are hard at work. Just need a good seating area. I sat under the trees which luckily for me the weather was good. Not everyone has a ride home so we wait. Good job and thank you!

Amazing service! Fair and upfront on all the issues with my son's car! I was expecting the typical "We can have it back to you in a couple of weeks".... Couldn't be farther from what we received! The car was back in our possession in a couple of DAYS!!!! Extremely happy! I will always recommend Acme Garage!

Have been using this shop for about two or three years now. Whether we have an emergency or when a simple fix is needed, they always come through with flying colors! Honest, hard-working, and efficient seems to be their motto. We have used them multiple times for repairs, oil changes, and more and will remain loyal customers because they have definitely earned it!

All women should go here. They, unlike other places, have never tried to take advantage of me because I am a woman. They inform me of my options instead of insisting that everything needs to be done. Additionally, their prices are consistently lower than anyone else. On top of everything, they do really good work.

Very nice people. To be a littles ways out they stay pretty busy. Which means they must be good. Our interaction with them was descriptive and to the point. Gave guestimations on high end first and low end of what cost may be. TRUSTWORTHY HONEST PEOPLE. Thank you
