I do recommend being highly vigilant at this location. They have not filled fluids the last 3 visits leaving the car to run completely out- although they marked on the receipt that they did this. One day after oil change there, my A/C is suddenly blowing hot air, my maintenance light is on and my ABS alert is active. No issues before this. I'd recommend going anywhere else. Cannot address or inquire further with a manager because their phone is busy from beginning to end of business day.

Truly is one of the best and quickest places to take your vehicle for a fast oil change and other services. Our family car's battery was going bad and we needed to change it in a hurry on a Sunday afternoon. They got us in and out super quick and at a convenient price. Highly recommend this Valvoline location!

I definitely recommend this place. They are fast, friendly, and honest. They don t push things that you don t need and always have a smile. There are closer places to me to have my oil changed, but I will always come here. I have used them for my last four oil changes, and I am very pleased. If you re looking for someone that you can depend on a place that will give you good service please go visit them!

Outstanding service! I was directed into a bay immediately upon arrival, and my synthetic oil change, inspection of wiper blades, air filter and pollen filter were completed very quickly. I was on my way in less than 25 minutes.

Very disappointing service. Went for oil change. A day later Something was not right under my car and making noise on highways, when checked underneath my entire bottom cover was missing and supporting plastics where hanging. Went straight to store to complain and they defended saying they put them back after the oil change. When I insisted them to check, they brought the cover from somewhere with hardware missing. Am glad that I got my cover back but it still not fixed right.Am surprised how they just left a car drive when they knew they forgot to fix the cover backon. The cover was right there.Am not sure what else got damaged but could have been a disaster if my bumper had dropped in middle of highway.

Staff is friendly and services are always quick. I've gotten multiple inspections and oil changes there. You don't even get out of your car.And I just learned today that they are open until 7 and open on Sundays! Perfect for a quick stop on your way home from work to get the car inspected!

This individual Valvoline station is probably fine when everything goes according to plan, but it can turn into a nightmare when it doesn t.My wife and I had a pretty bad experience with Valvoline when we brought our car in for an oil change and inspection on 11/3/23. They damaged our car and it had to go to a repair shop for about five days. They gave us the oil change for free, paid for the repairs, and told us they would reimburse a rental car while ours was in the shop. That was all reasonable and I wouldn t be here leaving a critical review if the story ended there. Unfortunately, it took five frustrating weeks and 10+ interactions with Valvoline to finally get reimbursement for the rental car.It's a long story, but here are some highlights of the more frustrating parts:* We were required to coordinate communications between Valvoline s own teams. They did not have someone driving resolution, so it fell on us to facilitate several steps of the process including getting the station to send a physical copy of our rental receipt to corporate and to seek station manager approval before Valvoline could issue a check to us.* Valvoline s primary source of internal communication was e-mail which dragged this on for weeks, whereas a phone call could have resolved it in minutes. For each step of obtaining the reimbursement, we had to contact general Valvoline Support who would then e-mail a manager on our behalf. There were at least three occasions where the manager never responded, meaning that no progress had been made when we followed up days/weeks later. And the only additional action the Support team offered was to send another email and hope to receive a response this time.* Despite asking several times for someone to contact us to discuss the situation, Valvoline reached out to us only once. And that was just to let us know that the manager who makes reimbursement decisions was on PTO until the following week.* Valvoline has car rental policies that they did not share with us when they damaged our car, which would have saved us weeks of frustration. It took three weeks of battling, but we finally received manager approval for rental car reimbursement. However, it was only for the base price of the rental ($650) and they explicitly denied reimbursement of the rental insurance ($150) portion of the bill. We were told something like rent a car and Valvoline will reimburse it , but no one said anything about opting out of rental insurance or what type of car to get. So, it was additionally frustrating that, once again, no one from Valvoline called us to discuss the situation and instead made the decision to approve only a portion of the reimbursement.* It took another week and a half of Support sessions before finally getting the rental insurance reimbursed as well. The message was that they d do it for us this time , as though we should be thanking them for their generosity. It felt insulting.Overall, the most shocking part was Valvoline s lack of interest in resolving the situation. It felt like they wanted to sweep us under the rug rather than own the situation and admit their missteps. It s understandable that things go wrong when servicing cars, but it s important to ensure the customer is taken care of in those cases and Valvoline utterly failed.

Oil change was fine. After driving for a while realized the flapping sound I was hearing was due improperly reinstalled splash shield. Several screws were missing. Store phone rang busy and couldn t get ahold of them so just went and bought replacements screws and fixed it myself.

Took my Audi for an oil change. Come to find put they couldn't do it after they said they it wouldn't be a problem. Hate to tell you guys but Argyle is a nice area. Lots of ppl have Audi. Step up your game Valvoline. Don't promote oil changes if you can't perform oil changes on normal cars.

Great service. Professional. The exit is blocked off, that s to bad. Makes the parking , waiting and exiting a big problem. Owners should find a solution. I will go back, but don t go if peak times.

Really appreciate the team at this location, they are young but very professional and know their subject matter. I especially appreciate how they set wait time expectations. Their front area seems to be in a constant repair state, but it does not impact the great service. I send both my wife and daughter here, on their own, without fear of mistreatment or being taken advantage of. Great service at good prices, totally recommend.

We love Valvoline. Recently we had our vehicle serviced out of state at another Valvoline. The oil drain plug was stripped and it was leaking oil. I was able to quickly speak with both managers and the shop in Argyle fixed the issue.

Refused me EV vehicle inspection by saying Car does not pass inspection because I have tiny condensation in my tail lights. He did not charged me or gave receipt for failed inspection like he said, that shows how dishonest this shop is.

I got an oil change and transmission fluid change for about $265.It was a little over priced but the service was nice.Where I live (rural) they're are no transmission services offered.So, I took what I could get.

I've had it with this place, wasted my time on multiple occasions coming to this place. First, online it ALWAYS says a 0-10 minute wait, the sign out front says a 15 minute wait, but then the people in the store tell you an hour to an hour and half a half wait. Told them I would come back another time. I just went back, they had me wait for 30 minutes which is no big deal, pulled me into a bay and we're just about to change my oil when they decided to finally inform me they are out of synthetic oil and asked me if regular was ok. I didn't want non synthetic so was forced to leave AGAIN without getting my oil changed and wasting my time in the process. Oh and forget about getting your inspection done here either, they more than likely will tell you the machine is broken or some other story why they can't do it. If I did not already buy a Groupon for this place I WOULD NOT EVER COME BACK.

I'll never go to Walmart again!! I checked my oil after Walmart oil change an it was barely full a week later! And no they never showed me the oil. Why. Because I get out the car for oil changes!Valvoline in Argyle top off everything including my tires and reminded me of a real oil change experience is in my car! The staff is happy and friendly and made my experience pleasant! A new forever client!

We stopped here part of our road trip from Utah to Georgia. They were very busy on a Saturday and we had to wait for 5 cars ahead of us. They were able to accommodate us and complete the job within 45-50 minutes.

We had previously had no issues here and use valvoline for all of our oil changes however this morning I came in to get an inspection and was there until 8:15 and the place was empty. All of the bays were closed and lights were off with no employees in sight. All 3 cars that were waiting left. Not sure if they no longer open at 8 or are going out of business.

Took my truck in to get a transmission service, fluid and filter. David was very knowledgeable, including me in every step of the way. The employees are friendly and well-versed in their trade. Highly recommended!

Each and every time I go there for an inspection they say that the machine is down. Yet when I go to the one in Flower Mound miraculously their machine is working just fine. This has happened to me several times over the last few years. I don't know why I still try to use them and don't just go to the other location first knowing this Argyle location will 9/10 times will not be able to do it.

The staff is great! I went to this once because all the places near me are out of my oil type. Everyone is very friendly. But the biggest thing is they're honest. My air filter seemed bad to me, but he said it'll be fine until the next oil change. He could have daily gotten me to get one. He also checked the cabin filter which was also not quite ready. I reward honesty and will be making the trip to this great company in the future. I highly recommend them!

I just want to say Juan the Manager is a rockstar. I towed my vehicle with my neighbor to the shop and I was dead in the water. Thankfully Juan gave great service and was able to repair my vehicle and did everything he could to make sure I was able to get out of there on my own. Months ago, I had an oil leak problem and had the leak fixed (or so I thought) at another place. The staff at Valvoline in Argyle are much closer to home and didn't hesitate to answer our multiple questions, even took a look at my car. We have been there multiple times for oil changes and the staff are consistently courteous, quick to respond and knowledgeable. Again, today they helped me out after a drain plug failed. As I waited in my car during my repair, I watched an effective team with superb communication (with each other and customers), a positive attitude and a strong desire to help.Service: Oil change
