I have an 09 Ram 1500 I recently bought, ended up being more work than I thought. This is very rare I say this about a shop, the guys up there have worked on my truck 2 times and have made me actually feel good about spending around $1,400 with them. They are very communicative, transparent about what they are doing and why they need to. They even replaced a burned out blinker that I had without me asking and without charging me. It's the little things like that; that will keep me coming back to them.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance

Battery died in Flower Mound, got a jump & called Argyle Auto at 4:45 pm. Went straight to AA and they replaced our dead battery! In 15 minutes we were on our way! GREAT service at the end of their day! We have been using AA for years and we will continue! Very appreciative!!

I've been an Argyle Auto Care customer for several years now, and I cannot overstate what an absolute pleasure it is to do business with Corey and his team.The work is exceptional, and the service is unparalleled. The staff is kind, warm, and always thorough in explaining the work they recommend and its corresponding pricing, as well as detailed instructions for ongoing care and maintenance.I personally far prefer supporting a small, locally-owned business rather than a big chain, and Argyle Auto Care is truly the best of the best. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Looking for a reputable business closer to home, have used AAC several times over the past few months. Competitive prices and the staff is very professional. Anyone having issues with the staff really need to take a step back and evaluate their own behavior.

I went in to get a car diagnosed and quoted for repairs prior to purchasing the vehicle... the guys saved me from buying a very unsafe car! Derek, Jacob, and Chris were very informative and thorough. Thanks y'all

I had been warned by people at Robson that this place had changed, should have listened.2 1/2 hours for a scheduled appointment oil change and tire rotation. On innocent inquiry, customer service desk was surly and arrogant. Mis led me on what was going on and unapologetic. I guess with the growth in the area Argyle Auto Care has too many customers.I'll be going down the road to Christian Brothers.

Had to have a lot of work done on my car recently. The team here was extremely helpful, professional and turnaround time was quicker than I expected. Shoutout to Chris, he made the whole process a good experience.

Just got my car inspected there and it was easy-peasy! Made an appointment and when I got there they got right on it and I was out quickly - I did have a morning appointment. The guys working were very helpful and super nice.

The lack of professionalism and terrible customer service displayed by management at Argyle Auto Care is disheartening. This had been our go-to place for all of our family's vehicles for nearly a decade until our most recent experiences. Now I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially with their current manager at the helm. His rude and explosive behavior tarnishes the reputation of the entire shop.If you're looking for a competent and respectful auto repair services, steer clear of Argyle Auto Care until they replace their current manager. Save yourself the frustration and find a more reputable and customer-focused establishment.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My two most important qualities in an auto shop are trust and dependability and Argyle Auto Care has neither. Dropped my Honda off on Friday for an oil change and diagnostic. Did not call me with an update or say its done or tell what I owe so my car sat in their garage all weekend. No professionalism or customer service. I picked it up on Monday and just wanted to pay and get out. Still no feedback, no call, no text, no email, and no information about what they found on my car. This was their second chance with me after they wanted to replace my entire exhaust system on my truck for a couple of thousand $$ so I took it for a second opinion at a different shop in Denton and they repaired it for a couple of hundred $$ with a weld. Would not go to Argyle Auto Care for a state inspection.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

For the second time now I call explain what I need get a quote schedule an appointment take my truck there. Second time oh the quote we gave is wrong it is going to be double. Try to workout where the breakdown in communication was. They don t seem to care just want double. Took it elsewhere and got a simple task done cheaper than they re original quote. Last time I take my vehicles here.

The management is beyond unprofessional. I took my vehicle there for AC diagnostic and inspection and went 3 days of calling with no response back before finally going to pick up the vehicle after not hearing from them or knowing what was going on. There was no accountability or apology for the lack of communication and instead, the manager was irritated and gave me my keys to leave without ensuring the car was good to drive.I opened the hood to find pieces they took off and never put back on just laying on top of the engine. He stated he knew that but it s my fault since I gave them no heads up I was coming- Not sure how to notify you when you don t answer my calls. When I tried letting him know how frustrating the situation was, he proceeded to slam my hood and storm off. As a young woman, his aggression was very unsettling. Disappointing to have this interaction and have to find a new mechanic after years of going here.

Outstanding service! Derek was great in helping facilitate the communication between my extended warranty company and me. He provided detailed information on what maintenance needed to be done now and helped game plan the work that should be done in the future. All work was completed promptly and with expertise by the technician Berry. During checkout, Chris was very patient with answering my questions. My truck now drives better than when I bought it! Highly recommend Argyle Auto Care. I will continue to see them for any maintenance needed on all my vehicles.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto tire replacement, Oil change

I used these guys for years for both family vehicles. Not anymore after getting charged $300 for an AC evac and recharge that couldn't/shouldn't have taken place, unless the compressor miraculously started working after they charged the AC and then stopped working again the moment I picked the vehicle up.I didn't ask for the system to be recharged. I knew the compressor was bad and assumed it would need to be replaced. Per your own write-up, "DOES NOT SEEM LIKE THE COMPRESSOR IS ENGAGING. CHECK AND ADVISE AS TO NEEDED REPAIRS". I got a call stating the system had been recharged. But it shouldn't have been. The compressor is bad! I should have only been charged labor for inspecting the system and then advised on what repairs are necessary.Instead, I have to pay for an evac and recharge that didn't work (of course, because the compressor is leaking), so I was surprised to find that it was even attempted (especially since I didn't ask for it). They also told me that the evaporator core is leaking and suggested a complete AC kit for roughly $1800.UPDATE: I bought a compressor online for $150 and ended up replacing it myself. After installing the compressor, it held a vacuum at -30 for over 36 hours. NO LEAK anywhere else in the system. Charged it with 2 cans of R134A and system works fine one week later.I will never take my vehicle to this place again.Service: Air conditioning

My car was having weird vibrations and when I took it here I didn't know anymore than that. I went it to get my truck inspected. They couldn't pass me because of my license plate light. I ask them how much it would cost for them to change out the bulb. They say my bulb is expensive (they said something like $65) and they would have to take off my bumper and it would take 2 days. I drove home went under my tuck and removed my old bulbs and drove to Orilys. I paid $6 for 2 new bulbs. I put them and drove back to Argyle auto care and passed inspection. If you value you time and money and also don't like lies then I would stay away for Argyle auto care.

Attitude and prices. Emphasis on attitude! Complete jerks. But don't take my word for it. Give em a try. Maybe your experience will be better.

Used to love this place. It's two doors down from where I live so super convenient. And the people there were always good at explaining what your car needs vs. what it could use. Now it's impossible to get in same day. They're pretty much appointment only. And when I explain what's going on with my tire pressure they tell me its $128 for diagnostics not including repairs. I just feel like that's a lot. I hate to take my business elsewhere because in the past they've always been good to me. But now it's so hard to get in and they don't even sound confident that they're able to fix my car.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Brought my car in with a parking brake error message. After believing I needed a $1500 repair, Chris went the extra mile of further troubleshooting the issue to find a loose harness and pinched brake line, which was fixable without needing new parts. Saved me over $1000 in parts and work I didn t need. Thanks, Chris and team!!!

I moved here a little over a year ago and this place has serviced all of my vehicles. It started out very good. The work performed has always been top notch. However, more than once now, the customer service agent has been rude and condescending. Getting vehicles serviced should not be so frustrating. The man is rude and I'm just done here. The first time it happened, I thought maybe the guy was just having a bad day. Clearly not so. Sadly taking my business elsewhere, as I'm not going to be talked down to like that when I'm the one paying. If you have a diesel truck, DO NOT BRING IT HERE! These guys tried to charge me $7k when a check engine light came on.They said critical components needed to be replaced. Low and behold, I call my REAL diesel mechanic and a few sensors needed to be replaced. Cost me a whopping $375.00 VS $7k!!!!Oil change go for it, real repair on a diesel walk away as fast as you can. Frankly, shame on this company and I will never do business with them again.Service: Auto maintenance

Fuel pump in gas tank , leak in fuel tank, steering box replacement, clutch replacement, fixed AC now cold air ,.
