EXTREME disappointment in a customer service failure today/yesterday at the Aransas Pass Enterprise location.I am renting a car for my job, to travel out of town this week. I realized last week that my driver's license had expired on January 15th. I renewed it immediately online, and received a printout that stated that the printout, along with my expired license would comprise a valid Texas driver's license until I receive the renewal in the mail.I called yesterday (Monday, 2/19) to change my reservation time to 3:30 pm instead of 4:30 pm, and explained that I had a temporary license printout along with the expired license. The person on the phone asked if the temporary had a photo, and I explained that it did not. They stated that as long as the information matched with my physical expired license, they would be able to call a district manager and there should be no problem renting the vehicle to me.When I arrived at the Aransas Pass location this afternoon and explained the situation, Matt pulled out a laminated paper and went to the managers office. They conferred, and then Matt called a risk management person who stated that they would be unable to rent a vehicle to me with the temporary license and the expired physical copy, contrary to what I was told the previous day. I was confused at first, and explained that I had previously called and been told this would not be an issue. I asked to speak to the manager, but Matt refused and stated that the manager was in a meeting and there was nothing I or the manager could do. Matt suggested going to the DMV here in Aransas Pass and stated I'd need an appointment there but might be able to get a printed copy of the license they wanted today.I did drive to the Department of Motor Vehicles, but they were unable to assist without an appointment.I returned to the Aransas Pass Enterprise location and waited to speak to Robert, the manager. Robert stated that this has happened before at the location (and presumably others). This is a complete failure of your systems - when something bad happens to one person, that event should be examined and then prevented in the future. If there are different rules for renting at different locations or among different franchises, that needs to be EXTREMELY CLEAR to ANYONE who is answering phones for Enterprise. It is completely unacceptable that bad information was given, especially when I called SPECIFICALLY TO VERIFY that I would still be able to rent using the temporary license I have.Additionally, I am renting using a corporate account - I have rented from this location before for both work related and personal use. The fact that no exceptions can be made at the discretion of the store manager seems ridiculous. I would like to know what Enterprise is doing to ensure future customers are not given bad information as I was. I am fortunate that a colleague is able to come and pick up the rental, but I know other people are not as lucky. This is a systemic failure that should be addressed and corrected.

After having my truck breakdown I called enterprise to request a vehicle. At first after arriving at the office there were no vehicles available. Someone cancelled and they asked if I would be willing to take that vehicle. It turned out to be a very nice vehicle. I ended up having to extend the reservation twice without any problems. I would recommend Enterprise to everyone. All of the guys at the Aransas Pass office are really Easy to deal with

Outstanding customer service. I went in, got an extremely clean car. And was on my way. The manager Robert is phenomenal at his job. Who while I was there made sure people coming in didn't just get good customer service but CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE! I am going to start renting here instead of from the airport in corpus

Can you give negative stars?! I have had my fill of that place. They had me running around for two days telling me what I had to do and what they wouldn't do. But in the end I was told that I could not rent a car there. Before you go in there have your strong sedatives with you. "Customer service has left the building!!!"

DO NOT COUNT ON YOUR CAR OR ORDER!!! I placed my order online and received a confirmation number. Confirmed in any other business means you are good to go. NOT WITH ENTERPRISE!!! I was on vacation and my daughter in another city was having a medical emergency. I was planning on my reservation to get home to her only to awake the next morning to well we don t have a car . This left me in a TERRIBLE place mentally and physically. I needed to get to my daughter. I counted on them and they basically lied to me. Never again ..never again. I hope many people read this and follow my advice.

I would not rely on these people to be helpful. They don't return calls when waiting on a rental( for a full 7 days), most days there's no cars available and if there's one in the shop they're too lazy to go pick it up (for like 5 days) worst enterprise service I've had ever, and I travel a lot.

Was on vacation with my grandfather and visited to get added to his rental to drive was denied due to a restriction on my license that states no alcohol allowed in system at all. No other restrictions just unable to consume behind the wheel. Definetly a joke for a reason of denial. Would not recommend this place to anyone visiting or on vacation. After returning this vehicle will not be going back to this location or company. if your going to get a rental get one In corpus or rockport. Seems they care little to much about there little printout "awards" they stick on there wall and hitting monthly goals than they do customer service. Would put 0 put of 5 if Google would allow. Stay away

Soo funny story I had a balance with enterprise which I tried to pay off multiple times well 6/8 because they over charged my account and put me into a negative balance I cleared that and paid it . But that s a whole another story Robert the so called manager refused to allow my mother different household different bank account different insurance different person rent a car because I had a outstanding balance then we agreed to pay it he then turned around and said no matter what she did he wouldn t rent to her ..remind you she was not even on my agreement don t even have same address but he assumed same last name and color that she was affiliated with me ..discrimination on so many terms ..Robert is very rude

I have rented cars there several times over the last year and each time I have been more than satisfied with the service,Especialy, and the vehicle. Will not go nowhere else to rent a car. Very well ran.

We rented a vehicle to take a trip to be with family after a sudden passing of one of our family members and our car just wasnt in condition to make the journey.I want to say upfront this isn't a complaint review.Reserved a truck online for the next day to pick up in the early morning.Since we had just sold our house in the same town, we thought might be able to make a stop for some personal items from storage on the way home, so a truck would be ideal.While en-route to the office, got a call the truck wouldn't be available until later that afternoon, but they did have other vehicles available.On arrival, the representative was very courteous and professional and offered a (more expensive) minivan for the same rate.Paperwork was done in just a few minutes and we were on our way earlier than expected.The van was very clean and the rep sanitized the interior before handing it off to us.There was a wreck on the highway and we got stuck in traffic, so we called the office to inform them that we might miss our scheduled return time.The rep was very understanding and polite.After dropping the vehicle off, we were told it might take up to 4 days for our deposit to be credited back but it arrived the next afternoon.Will definitely keep Enterprise in Aransas Pass, TX in mind next time need to rent a vehicle.Gave 4 stars due to the online availability check not indicating our preferred vehicle was unavailable for the time we needed.The local office staff is amazing and would recommend them.

Enterprise always comes thru! Our vacation was in jeopardy after another company called at the LAST minute to say they couldn't fullfill our 6 month old reservation because they were out of cars. Thank goodness Robert at Enterprise was able to find us a car and save our vacation. Great job!!

This location is OPEN. Two guys working there are really friendly. Were able to get us into a rental car within 30 minutes of walking in the door.They also will call you to make sure the insurance company provided them with the correct information about your situation so that there is no miscommunication and everything runs smoothly. It is a smaller location so available vehicles are limited, you definitely want to call ahead of time if you are seeking a specific sized vehicle.Side note: They stopped taking expired licenses in April so if you don't have a valid license they won't be able to get you a vehicle using your expired license but they will point you in the direction of the nearest dmv while they hold your vehicle until you get back

I reserved a economic car, on arrival all they had was a full size truck, I took it. They asked me to return it at least by 1130 am, which l did. l asked them if they could drop me off. The representative informed she didn't have the staff to do that. Ron was behind her and jumped in and said he would. Thank you to Ron for taking initiative and even though he would have to stay longer he did. It is greatly appreciated!

I did a one way rental from Aransas Pass, TX to Lake Jackson, TX. The folks at Aransas Pass were super helpful. They delivered the car to my door and it was super clean and in top shape. The car worked really well the whole trip. I would rate the Aransas Pass office 5 of 5 stars.My problem came with the staff at Lake Jackson. They were less that helpful. They refused to give me a ride to my destination which was the Freeport marina. That was just 11 miles from the Enterprise office, They stated that it was outside their drop-off radius, That is ridiculous! I ended up calling a taxi to get to my boat.

Excellent vehicle. It was delivered to me at my auto repair shop where my car was being repaired. They extended my rental as needed with little or no effort on my part. Employees were friendly. Price was fair.I did not see them walk on water so I gave them 4 stars.

Very sweet manager and super efficient service, but the car itself was filthy. He did apologize and told me I could wait around for them to clean it again. Maybe if they had another clean car choice or something newer that wasn't covered in stains on the front seats and super dirty cup holders and console? Apparently all of the cars were dirty on this Monday morning. I travel a lot and I've just never rented a dirty car before. Rented for 2 1/2 days so he took the 3rd day off the price? I really didn't want to sit in it, but I was on a schedule and every car I've rented from Enterprise in the past has been clean so I never thought this would be an issue.... it was a bummer.

I was rear-ended in an accident and was sent by Gainsco ins. to pick up a rental while mine was in for repairs. When I went in to enterprise in Aransas Pass to pick it up Sean the branch manager asked for a license and a credit card. I asked why he needed a card, since insurance was paying for the rental he replied that it was only in case of damage to the rental. I was asked to sign a touch screen ,which I did believing I would only be charged, as he said, for damage.When I returned the vehicle after my truck was repaired, in the same condition , no damage, Sean did his inspection and told me all was good, no mention of any charge. No receipt or paper work of any kind offered. Thinking this was covered by Gainsco insurance I left thinking this was done, until I got my card statement on which there was a charge of 986.77. So my advice is to avoid this business at all cost, which as it seems can be unexpectedly high.

This was possibly the most painless car rental we've had. We got a good rate on a standard size and were out of the office into the car in about 5 minutes. When we had a flat tire in the middle of the trip, they switched cars for us and we were on our way again, no hassle.

The car was exactly what I asked for. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of it though, ESPECIALLY with this pandemic concern. The manager did give us a discount to compensate for the poor detailing. We will use Enterprise again and recommend them to others.

I have rented hundreds of cars around the world and this is the absolute Worst Experience and car I have ever rented. I requested a SUV and was confirmed that they had one to rent. When I arrived at the counter the guy said we only have a sedan and a minivan!!! That is Not what I paid for nor requested. They were the only rental place in the area and I had taken a taxi to get there (they advertise that they will pick you up but they said that they did not have enough people there to do that)The minivan was Terrible it was Not Clean, the drivers door was ajar and hard to close, it smelled like it had not been cleaned and certainly not sanitized. I DO NOT recommend renting from this place at all!!!

My husband and I were on our way to Corpus Christi and our vehicle broke down. I called Enterprise Car Rental in Aransas Pass and spoke to Alex about renting a car. I relayed to him what the circumstances were and he told me someone would be coming to pick me up and get me a vehicle. It happened to be the first week of Spring Break. We were about 20 minutes away from their office. I hung up and 20 minutes later a representative came by to pick me up and take me to their office to complete the transaction. I was most pleased with the prompt and courteous service. Great job!
