Finally, a pleasant license renewal. The workers here are friendly and courteous. I can't say that about the public in the waiting room. Great experience with a knowledgeable staff.

We went to the DMV for the third time to get My Son A Texas drivers license. Debra who performs the drivers tests made my son watch a video and then he was given a time limit to take the driving test and had to schedule an appointment. Debra took his information with myself and my sister watching her ask the questions and input his information into the system and told him to come back March the 4th. We were there when they opened and he was informed that he did not have an appointment. (Even though the three of us witnessed Debra making it and telling him)She refused to acknowledge making the appointment And told me to call whoever I needed to call MA AM.He made another appointment which wasn t available for another 2 months. We have since decided to go to another DMV that s 2 hours away to get him in.Debra is a very rude woman and was rude to me when I applied for my Texas license. One of the other ladies that works at the DMV told me she s always like that towards customers and gave me Debra s name.Seems she s the only one who can give the driving test and she needs to be sent home for good. There is NO reason anyone up there providing a public service should treat people the way she does. I had another white lady who was in the waiting room tell me that Debra is always like that and she was tired of it too.I honestly feel like she s that way to the white customers on purpose and definitely needs to learn customer service and have her ethics straightened out. Not going back there until she s gone and I recommend anywhere else for DMV needs

Almost did not get what we needed done, not because of them but I did not have what they needed, all my bills are on line, I had to run to the library to print them because i was to late to email them to the office.. But it got done...

The earliest date for me to renew my license is a month away. So I will be driving around with an out of date license which means I risk getting tickets and it also affects cashing checks at my bank.

Amazing location compared to the ones in San Antonio! As soon as I open the door I was greeted with a smile. I was asked if I had an appointment, I was asked to check in and I was given the proper application for a change of address. All this was done in a professional manner by staff member. She constantly walked around asking if anyone needed assistance with application. The people at this location are awesome, polite and have so much patience. After this experience I definitely don t mind the 40 minute drive from San Antonio to Jourdanton.

The people there are super rude and unprofessional. I went in to ask a question about replacing my driver's license and when i said I had a question one of the ladies started yelling about how I need an appointment number, something I can not do without a driver's license. This is supposed to be a professional setting but there attitudes are far from that.

I got my wallet stolen and needed to replace my driver's license. I was shocked at how easy and fast this place was. Everyone was so nice and super helpful.

I went here with a friend and was blown away by the courteous and professional treatment we received! My friend was able to get everything done in and out in less than 30 minutes. Will be going back in a few weeks and am oddly excited about the future experience!

You would have to make appointments online waste of time as walk in there is rude customer service city needs to update these small services as city grows so should their services not everyone is computer savvy and that includes services for elderly residents

We're have to wait months to get a new or to renew our Identification cards... it's messed up and cause use to get tickets over this stuff...

This is the poorest example of service I've ever experienced. First there's only a few parking spaces so there's no where to park. There are no signs showing additional parking at the church. Had hard time finding it. The numbers are too small to read on door.. Sign for DPS was small.They need a sign above computer that people are to fill out a form. There was only 1 person working which made my appt 1.5 hours late. The other employee came back from lunch but didn't take any customers. Just worked on computer. The office is cramped and small; it's ugly.

Great service! I had to drive an hour to get there because it was the only location I could get an appointment and they took care of me in a friendly and timely manner.

Excellent service. Appointment strongly advised. 7 people waiting..I walked in, signed in on Kiosk, called 5 minutes later. Were on A004, my number was 018. Appointment bypassed everyone.Friendly staff.

Love this location!! Went in to renew my DL and was out in 20 minutes. Will be coming to this location from now on vs the ones in San Antonio lol. The employees were really helpful and kind as well. 10/10.

Apparently it makes no difference if you make an appointment. Still have to wait forever. I came on a day when no one was here and they made me make an appointment. I show up today and they're taking walk ins. Very inconvenient.

They need more help. I made appt on line, got there no appt showed need up waiting 5 hours till the lady finally helped me only because j went up to ask . They are truly doing the best they can with only 2 working. Then one has to leave giving driving test, going to bank ect.

I had a terrible experience at the General McMullen office, where I waited 45 min before they opened to be immediately turned away. I was informed if I didn t like it to take it up with DPS director Steve McCraw. The DPS website clearly states walk-ins ARE available. I hope Mr. McCraw reads these.A friend recommended the Jourdanton office, it was 45 min drive, but I gave it a shot anyway. I was not disappointed. I was met with kindness and professionalism. It is this office and it s employees that should be the model for every DPS office in Texas. They are knowledgeable, efficient, and complete professionals. I will never not go there for any of my DPS needs. I was reluctant to review this office for fear it may be overrun with others like myself who desire top notch service. Congrats Jourdanton, your office is the best.

Staff was extremely helpful. Small down home feeling. They are by appointment only at this point but even with that they walked me through every step I needed to take. I will definitely be going there for my needs.

I went about a week ago to renew my expired license due to covid and Charissa Beckett was very professional, efficient and kind!! :) The other lady was as nice to her applicant. My son went a week before me & even he said the ladies were professional! It is true, there were some unhappy employees a few years ago. :( Don't let the old reviews influence you!!

They don t even try to help. Lady was rude and not helpful. It was hard to even get an appt which I m surprised it was super dead nobody was even in line. I told her I needed a new license have google of my old one since the police took my old one and said she couldn t help.

I went in to just change my last name and the lady made me retake my license picture, even though I had just taken one. Had no make up on, hair not done, been up with a newborn the night before. Now I have a horrendous picture I have to show for no valid reason.Make sure you go prepared to take a picture so you are not screwed for years until you can retake it.Big deal to me; may not be to others but I know a lot of people have issues with their physical appearance and just wanted to ensure nobody else has to deal with this situation because mentally it sucks.Service was efficient and I was in and out. The picture part was the only issue.

Amazing service! Everyone was very sweet and helpful when we walked in, we were greeted at the door promptly. Make sure you have an appointment though!

Pitiful. Can't get a live person to talk to. Why do we pay this HIGH tax to support this if they won't even talk??? What if we don't use "on line"?? This sounds like something like obiden and his unGodly crew would come up with..
