After taking my 2002 Chevrolet Duramax to three other businesses and waiting over two years, I finally took my truck to Jeff Durbin Automotive and they got my truck in and out within 2 months!! It is running very well!! They kept me updated on estimated prices and progress to the truck!! They were very professional and tried to work with me the best they could on price!! I even pulled another truck with my 2002 duramax already and it did very well!! I would highly recommend them for any automotive mechanic work that needs done!!

Well guys....could go on and on about how you worked us in to get turbo and intercooler replaced during our breakdown across country but instead.....everything working fine and a few tokens still to come. Big thumbs up and hope y'all are doing well

I've been using Jeff Durbins for all my personal and work related automotive needs. I was driving from Dallas, TX to Albuquerque, NM for work. About 50 miles outside of Amarillo my AC randomly stopped blowing. Obviously at 3:30pm in Texas this was instantly miserable, but I also had a time crunch due to needing to arrive at my destination in time for orientation the following day.After calling two different mechanics with no availability (as I expected), I was referred to Jeff Durbin Automotive. I spoke with Josh on the phone and after hearing my plight, told me that they could help me out. As soon as I arrived, one of their mechanics, Ryan, immediately began assessing the issue, had it diagnosed and parts ordered. This business was obviously very busy and primarily services diesel trucks. The fact that they were willing to get me with my little Ford Focus in and out, back on the road with AC blasting in an hour and a half was unbelievable in the best way possible. Also, in this situation it would have been very easy for them to up-charge because of the urgency of the situation, but their pricing was fair for the repair and labor spent. Driving through Amarillo towing a trailer and had a low oil pressure issue on my 7.3 PSD Excursion. They got me in first thing the next morning, figured out the problem and had me fixed in less than 2 days and back on the road. Quick, honest, great communication and they know diesel trucks. Call them if you need fixed!

One of our trucks broke down near Amarillo and as most know a Google search can be a dice roll sometimes. Broke down, on a new route, 3 states from home, and our own deadline job to complete we called Jeff Durbin Automotive.It was the best possible call we could have made.With prompt response and arrival, JDA stuck to their timeline and budget to get us back on the road and get our job done. I have an 06 F250 with a 6.0 diesel engine, It kept breaking down on me and leaving me stranded. I drove from Lawton Oklahoma to have Jeff Durbin work on my truck. They explained to me what all it needed in detail and help me understand the engine more. They were quick and very efficient. My truck has been running absolutely incredible every day since I brought it home. I one hundred percent recommend this shop to everyone of my friends that need work!

Not long ago I discovered a fairly substantial diesel leak on my 2019 Dodge 5500. It's a long story and through a set of circumstances I ended up at Jeff Durbin Automotive and it was a huge blessing and an answered prayer. From the guy behind the counter to the mechanics to Jeff his self all of them acted like real people and treated me like a customer, they knew I had places to be in a short time they got me in and out of there and at what for me was a fair price considering the alternative. I believe they focus more on Ford's impossible Chevrolet's but they accommodated my Dodge and anything that I can schedule to have done there and travel that way I will take it to them to get it done I highly recommend this business. Was on a trip from SE Az to Michigan, when my truck died. Was told to call thes guys, and I couldn't be happier! They got me on the road the same day, and did everything they could to both fix the problem, but also make it as affordable as possible.If you have a 6.0 Diesel, these guys know it inside out. Highly recommended!

Ok so what do you say about a place that has excellent customer service and helps people out.? Well we got stranded 30 minutes south of Amarillo, Texas and we had our F 350 dually towed to their shop. They stayed in contact with us with every detail about the truck. In the end the truck needed more work than we can afford, the engine was done. So they worked it out with us to take the truck and deal with it themselves. Josh was the kindest person we have dealt with when it comes to mechanic shops. We highly recommend them because they truly know what they are talking about when it comes to dealing with vehicles. If you ever need a mechanic and you are anywhere near Amarillo you should definitely use them. Thank you guys so much for your help and honesty. We don't know what we would have done without you.

Traveling through TX in an RV we blew the #4 spark plug and ignition coil, stripping the threads in the head. After calling every dealership in the area, one of them recommended Jeff Durban. The other shops were a week out and Jeff squeezed us in for the repair the same day. I can't say thank you to his team enough for their hard work ethic and sympathy to our circumstances. They could of charged an exorbitant amount, but their price was very fair. Thank you all for getting us on the road, I wish you were closer to Colorado and I'd buy them all beer everytime I saw them. FYI, this is the 1st time I have ever tipped a shop and probably the last...unless I come back through Amarillo and break down again. Take your vehicle here and only here.

Had my F250 work done 2 months ago had a valve or a head problem they looked at the number one piston said it be fine!Then it ran for 7 days or about a thousand miles and had to tow it back from Florida been in the shop since then and the number one piston is cracked, I'm still waiting after 2 months to hear what's going to be done with it gave him some time to get the other vehicles done and out of the way.September 19th waiting to hear an answer from Jeff hopefully they'll do the right thing and fix it under warranty. But this truck from Jeff does a lot of great work and they said they overhauled it about a year ago so I'm hoping hoping they honor their work.

I was traveling from Arkansas to California. The rear end on my F150 blown apart. Thank you God that it was near Jeff Durbin's repair shop. These guys know trucks, they all drive trucks. They ordered a remanufactured rear end, got it in and got me on the road, quickly. They were slammed, but they put me 1st because I was stranded. Great guys, they know their stuff, they made my stay fun and memorable.

I was unsure about the issues going on with my truck. The team there diagnosed everything and explained my options. I felt very comfortable throughout the experience and felt the price of my repairs was fair. Good job guys! I enjoy doing business with local companies that care about their work and customers.

We were traveling from Baton Rouge, LA to Salt Lake City, Utah in our E150 van pulling a toy hauler with our motorcycle in it. About 60 miles from Amarillo the van started vibrating. Parked the toy hauler at Amarillo Ranch RV Park (Also a great place. ) and they recommended Jeff's place. Took the van there the first thing on a very busy Monday and explained the situation. They found 3 problems, 2 they fixed and the other, a tire problem, they suggested a tire service who who also took care of us on that same day. We were back on our way the next day with a smooth running van. We are very happy with the service we received!

Your ReviewWe had a turbo failure driving through town at 5:30pm and Jeff said to bring it in. They immediately identified the problem, fixed it, and took us on a test drive to make sure everything worked. They ended up staying 2 hours past close to get us home, and even cleaned out our radiator. Very honest and trustworthy, with a fair price. It's hard to find an honest shop, but this is one of them.

Jeff Durbin and his staff have worked on three different vehicles for me in the last year. I have always received detailed invoices of all the work that was completed. I have been truly satisfied with all the repairs that they have done and the commitment to service they have provided.

I had Jeff research an oil leak on my 1994 F350 Diesel. I suspected rear main seal.Long story short, he found the issue (not what I thought) -- fixed it, and it's been well for another 200K miles.There was a mishap at the shop, but he was upfront and honest about everything and more than made it right.I would take my truck back here in a heartbeat. I trust this guy....he'll tell you like it is and not rip you off.

They worked my truck in the same day I called. They answered my questions and completed the repairs. I took my truck on a 6 hour trip the next day, and it ran perfectly! I travel for a living and my 02 Ford F-350 started leaking oil profusely while I was in Amarillo. After calling several shops I was finally referred to Jeff Durbin and was excited by all the positive reviews. I feel that they overcharged, excessively so, $101.99 for a $34 carrier bearing. My truck was in their shop on 9-17 and by 10-05 I was making a special trip back to Amarillo. I used 6 gallons of oil from OKC to Amarillo. They replaced the seals on the high pressure oil pump the first time around. Now I accept that faulty parts occur, what I do not accept is being called a liar and not accepting responsibility for their mistakes. I was treated as if I had inconvenienced them and no apology was offered for there failure to install an O ring correctly. I do give them credit for fixing their mistakes, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Josh and the rest of the staff at Jeff Durbin helped me turn a bad situation around. I can't thank them enough. I started driving back to Michigan after my grandmother's funeral and while going through construction hit a pot hole that damaged my drivers side bearing. Not only did the guys fit me into their already packed day, they got me back on the road quickly, and didn't charge me an arm and leg. Thank yall for helping me get back to that 20 hour drive and home safely.

EDIT July 19 2017:Jeff recently reached out to me. Apologizing for the way my truck was handled. He refunded my money for previous work. And explained to me the reasoning "a new employee" screwed the pooch. My opinion of them being con men is no longer a thought. However given the ordeal I still have a bad taste in my mouth.Original review:have many expletives to use to discribe this business. The pg version is they are con men. These POS tried selling me a new motor claiming I had a cracked block. I was suspicious from the get go. So when I told them i wanted a second opinion. I got nothing but additude, even asked me for a estimate and once again additude. Took it over to Pit Stop on paramount. After running the same tests they told me it was a bad valve spring. MY FIX WENT FROM 6500 DOLLARS TO 500! Do not do business with these criminals.

Great work diagnosing and repairing the long cranking on my 05 6.0 power stroke when 2 other shops failed to fix it, Kept calling me and updating me on the progress day by day awesome job guys thanks!! Bring your truck here if you won't it done righ the first time!

Wonderful got my cars transmission serviced and it was done in few hrs. Awesome job they did!! Thanks guys!! Oh and the price was way better then i could have guessed...
