What other shops should be like, as honest and blue collar as they come. If you need anything and you're in the area do not hesitate to give them a call for truck service. They do after hours calls as well up to 150 miles out. If you aren't going to pay your bills don't bother wasting their time. Thank you guys again for the respectable service cause it's so difficult to find these days. And the shop dogs were cool too!

We are traveling in our motorhome and had an AC compressor freeze up on a Sunday ( of course!) Got towed to High Plains and had such a positive experience with this group. They got us in first thing Monday morning. Stan, Kent and their team of guys were all over it and it was immediately very clear they knew their stuff. It was amazing to deal with such an honest group along with extremely fair pricing. Don t run across businesses like this very often. Thanks to them we are back on the road!

I lost the clutch on my way thru Amarillo on the weekend, I called these guys first things Monday morning to see if they can get me and look at it. They told me to bring it over. They got me right in, figured out what it needed and got me a price. They got right it and got the parts there.The guys are super cool and relaxed. Special shout out to Chad, the gentleman who did the, he was fast and did a great job! The office guy was awesome as well. The whole crew is just amazing.If your in need of some work and your in Amarillo, I highly recommend you give these guys a call!

I was really disappointed with how willing these guys are to take advantage of people who just don t know ins and outs of the mechanics. I was offered to pay $300 for a job that costs $50. They also wanted to me to pay $80 for a 10 minute diagnostics , which essentially was just walking around my vehicle with no sophisticated devices being used to locate the problem. After expressing the frustration about their pricing tactics, they stole my keys and blocked my vehicle. Such a bad faith way of running a business which is supposed to help get drivers back on the road

I called High Plains to see if they could take a look at my truck explain to him what the issues we re at the time they actually got me in they talk to me showed me what they were doing got me the best price they could my truck is running better than it has in a very long time and My fuel mileage and Mel it has came up at a very pleasing rate these guys will get more of my business I d give them 10 stars if I could

We broke down in our Motorhome in July. Got towed to these guys on Saturday. They let us stay in the lot until Monday when they got us in first thing. The hydraulic pump we needed could not be found. They found a shop to rebuild it for us. We went back to Indiana and they stored our coach for us. The owner is awesome and so is Kenton. Everyone was fantastic. Headed back down to pick it up and looking forward to seeing them again. They will treat you right and are great to work with.

Was on the way to California when I noticed a leaking rear end. Called them and set up an appointment for the next morning. They got me in right at 0800 and had resealed the rear and replaced a nicked air line that was leaking by 1200. Not hugely complicated but it was done quickly and done right. $3000, 3 days, 3 shops. High plains finally found and fixed my problem. Will be my go to place in Amarillo from now on. They got me right in, talked to me like I was an intelligent person, listened to and discussed what the other shops had done, what my truck was doing, & treated me with respect . Need I say more

I bought a truck at an auction. They got the truck roadworthy and safe to drive 1.3k miles. Just had an alternator put on our 2002 Blue Bird school bus. We have converted it to an RV and are just traveling through on our way out west.They quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it quickly too.They started checking for possible loose cables or loose belts. Didn t jump right in to a more expensive option.We pulled in when they opened at 8am and pullled out at 9:20.Price was very reasonable and they actually honored a price they quoted which was a little less than it should have been on one item.Very friendly people and knowledgeable mechanics. Had a "emissions tune" done here. Made it less then 200 miles and truck quit. Had to get truck towed to another shop, and found out that put bad software in ecm. They drug me on for 4 months saying they would make it right but didn't. $4800 down the drain!

PLEASE AVOID this shop. Manager rude and unprofessional. They charge me $81 for 10 minutes and do nothing. Manager really crazy and unprofessional. Never come here

Don't call these guys, they aren't reliable. We ran out of fuel and waited for hours for someone to show up. They kept telling us they sent someone out 20-25 minutes ago just to sit and wait for no one to show up. Call again and they say they will send someone in 20 minutes but still, no one shows up. We waited over 2 hours before someone finally get here to help get my truck started again. I called so many other places that offered to help in better ways. Seriously, don't trust this company.

Came out to Dumas to replace our Fuel Filter on our Penske truck rental. Was prompt in calling me, showed up and did the service quickly and I loved how he texted me to let me know ETA, as soon as he arrived in town, and to let me know the job was done. Communication was on point.

These guys are really helpful and efficient. They did amazing work on my truck and was done the same day, I was in and out after sitting at Peterbilt for 2 days. The shop owner was very generous and really professional. Really great service from these guys. Will do all my future business here.

Garage door was wide open but guy was working in cab of a truck so I waited for him to look over. He went and got a Co worker and continued to ignore me and finally when he couldn't ignore me anymore he just raised his hand toward me and got mad that I was there. I wasn't in the shop but outside the door so no real reason to be mad. After waiting around and basically getting brushed off and all of this was waiting to ask a question about the salvage yard out back! I will never do business here.

Stay away the customer service is good, the technicians aren't qualified. My truck loose power it cost me to pay 7492 $.after 2days I had the same problem. So my fellow owner operators take care of this shop.

Just like the guy states these guys are damm crooks. My trucks yoke went out 20 miles away and i had a tow company tow us to the location. they took half a day to fix my fuel lines and they stated that they could not find the yoke for my truck. They took a day in a half to locate my part, which i had located in the first 4 hours that i was there but they did not want to use aftermarket parts they only wanted to use original which had to be ordered. they charged me a arm and a leg just for the yoke which was 435 dollars. At the dealer brand new the yoke was 185.00 dollars. the total cost for my repair was 1675.00 dollars they charged me ridicules amount of labor work for something a regular mechanic would do in 3 hours. DO NOT COME HERE BECAUSE YOU WILL GET F**KED BY THESE PEOPLE. AVOID IF U HAVE TO THERE IS PLENTY OF OTHER SHOPS AROUND THE AREA.Lastly they stole 100 gallons of my fuel

Awesome people Mr. David came out on a Sunday and helped us for numerous hours. These guys have a passion for what they do. They do not procrastinate on getting the job done. Save yourself time and money's by dodging the big name guys (Cummins Frieghtliner International etc.) Thanks Mr. Stan, Chad, and David and the whole crew.

Crooks, bad business,they will screw you.....These guys are complete rip offs, charged me $300 bucks to tighten a fitting on my water pump on my rig only stopped there cause I dident have tools,dident think would be that much to tighten a fitting, after the fact 50 miles down road fitting came a loose that they fixed broke down I called them and they said couldn't do nothing for me!! Bad buisness and rip offs!!!!

The good reviews must have only had their oil change. I dropped my truck off and told them exactly what I needed done. 2 days later still haven't even started on it. One of the worst shops I've ever been to.

Same day service.. can not complain. Labor rates were high, but given the industry, same day service is better than waiting days or weeks for a more favorable labor rate.

I had them check my transmission on a truck I just bought. They checked it flushed and changed the oil, was priced right and I was in and out in 1 hr!

GET AWAY FROM THIS PEOPLE THEY WILL SCREW YOU !!!!they took 3 days to tell me that the ecm was bad then they install one bad ecmthat after $1749.04 cost to repair i still have to get other ecm the one they install the truck run but jake , cruise control won't work just a really bad deal ,AND AFTER THEY GOT PAY THEY HOLD THE TRUCK ONE MORE DAY AS PUNISHMENT FOR CALLING AND COMPLAINT MANY TIMES .THEY HAVE JUST NOT RIGHT TO DO THAT TO HARD WORKING PEOPLE LIKE US ,DON'T STOP THERE !!
