Called Messer service about brakes on F250. Took and left for estimate and then authorized repair on 2 22 2024. Called and was told in progress. Called several times to see if ready, left message, no reply. 2 24 2024, Called and no response from service. Drove to Messer and was ready. Service rep asked name, retrieved key laid on counter ran copy of invoice, I paid with debit card. Asked if he knew where truck was. No offer to bring up. Told rep Messer did good work but no Service as see our vehicle and others brought to customers when had car serviced. He said out on first or second row of vehicles. Was not, used alarm and found on far end of far row. No response from rep.

We dropped off our vehicle for an oil change. We knew it would take about 2 hours. The shuttle took us to Cavender's and hopefully they are on their way to pick us up! What a nice service to offer customers, especially since we are not locals!

Customer service was great. Took it in because it was losing power/wasn't want to shift like it should. Got it back. Drove it for 2 weeks, seemed better. Getting it towed in now. A miracle just drove out of palo duro before it quit shifting into gear.

Highly recommend this location for anything you need. JC was awesome to work with and took care of my problems super quick. Big shoutout to him for being on the ball with everything and giving great service.

Would even take time to appraise my vehicle to give me an offer.. they ask what I had in mind and I told them. And they said it wouldn't be what I wanted. I asked them to appraise it anyway so I had an idea what they would buy it for and they refused.. then told me if I sold it to come back.. I told them if they want to take time to give me an appraisal I wasn't going to take time to give them my business. So I won't deal them because of that one individual. Go see Cedric at petes car smart kia. He gets things done

This has been the worst car repair experience ever. NO communication from our service provider Jimmi unless we call and nearly impossible to get a hold of or get a call back from. Asked for three things to be fixed, blower motor, leaking AC lines causing a hissing noise from back, and a simple estimate on strut replacement. Blower motor fixed after waiting over a week for diagnostics and then another weekend and two days for a part. Leaking AC line (already fixed twice before) not address but marked as Normal Operation on the invoice. Estimate on the struts marked as Complete but never given. To top it off, invoice says ready 3/24 at 2pm. We were not notified it was ready till I noticed it sitting in the parking lot unsecured over the weekend and I called Jimmi again to get a voicemail. Got a text from the dealership it was ready at 5:20, 40 minutes before they closed. Went to get it and Jimmi was not there. Spoke with an extremely rude service advisor, don t know his name, 2nd desk from the main dealership, who would not take the time and tell us what was done. Not impressed with this place. Will be glad to get rid of any Ford product just to not come back

I went to the service department so that they could see 2 small issues that are fully covered under warranty on my 2021 F -250 diesel with less than 8000 miles on it. I wanted to make an appointment 2 weeks out since I would be out of town that week and they could have the trick all week. Long story short, he said in order to get in the que, I had to bring it in, and quote it might be 2 weeks before we can even look at it . If that s the case, what s the point of even making an appointment? He also told me they can t do loaner cars due to government regulations regarding Covid. My friend at a dealer in Oklahoma said that is false. If you can t loan a car due to Covid, how can rental companies rent cars? I ve had my oil changed here before, and had issues getting that done correctly, one time on the way home smoke was coming from under the hood, turns out they had forgot to put the cap back where the oil goes in. I had to drive back to the dealer to make sure they had in fact added oil. Should have known not to use this dealer. Their attitude is even bad when you walk in, no one acknowledges your presence until you finally stand there awhile and look at them while they re all on their computers. Fortunately, another dealer in town said they were booked, but since I could leave it for a week, no problem, they could get it done. Consistently bad service experiences at Gene Messer!

I have used Gene Messer service department for several years now. Jimmy & Rudy ( Service Manager) have always taken real good care of me & all my vehicle needs. Thank you Gene Messer Ford.

I put one star because it won't let me do zero. For the second time in 4 weeks, they have exhibited unprofessional behavior, indifference and a whole lotta incompetence. When you call for a service appt, you are actually calling a call center, where a congenial person makes an appt for you...after asking a good 10 mins worth of questions about the prospective problem. (if I could diagnose the problem, I wouldn't need to take it into service, now would I?) I could run to a parts store, watch a you tube video and fix it myself. But I digress...The first mixup was about a month ago. I made an online appt, took the car in, they thought I was there for an oil change...this was the first of 5 times I have heard the phrase, 'we are having trouble with them (the call center). This time, I call and am told to rush up there and they could look at the vehicle today. Guess what, got to hear the 4th and 5th time, ...'we are having trouble with them (the call center). To shorten this litany...Gene Messer Ford Amarillo Service Department - Your business paractices and customer service are despicable. I am going to tell everyone I know (I myself have 3 Ford Vehicles) to go elsewhere and not to bother you and your call center. I am going to try Whiteface Ford or Allstar Forf next time.Service: Electrical
