I highly recommend this Firestone, and especially the help I always receive from George. I have had some issues with my truck and George has always been helpful and understanding in getting them corrected. My son had a tire problem on Sunday afternoon close to closing time. George took the time and went beyond to address the problem. He has also been helpful with my daughter, when she had some issues from another tire company, reference her tires and alignment. I never have any worries knowing he will take care of my problems, along with everyone else's.He addresses the issues and handles them in a professional manner. He definitely is an asset for Firestone, and I feel they are very fortunate to have him as an employee.

Had came from out of town for our nephew's basketball game and thank god Firestone was open truly was blessed for the guys there and Store manager George the way he took care of our situation and for them to be the only ones open at the time we got a flat we wanna thank you guys for your service honestly from my me and family thank you guys and helping us get back to New Mexico if you guys are nearby have tire, batteries, wheel alignments or even tune-ups problems we recommend you guys to stop by

This place is a joke with customer service. Took in my car just for a simple inspection. They pull it in the bay, left it there with the lights on a the car turned off for over 30 minutes. I kept asking about 5 times if they checked the tire pressure and they said we didn t know about that whenever we told them from the start. They don t know what they are doing. My battery goes dead, they can replace it for free!! Jerks!!!

Dropped off car at 9:30 and they told me one hour it would be ready. We came back at 12:27 and the vehicle was still not ready after I was told it ll be ready within an hour. They did a call at 10:30 and let us know it would be another hour we showed up at 12:27 and ww where told it should be another hour asked for a discount since the service they said would be done has only taken 4 hours more than what we where quoted. They said you can have it back with just the balance horrible customer service. I llService: Steering & suspension repair

Made an appointment for an alignment, tire rotation and balance after I changed the front struts on my new truck. Drove straight and fine before I brought it in but wanted to be proactive since an alignment is recommended after changing struts. The first alignment took 4 hrs and they couldn t find a record of my appointment made online and confirmed through a phone call the day before. When I left the truck was shaking badly and pulling hard to the left so I brought it back in an hour later and they acted like they had no idea who I was. After waiting another hour they called me up to the front and said they think the issue was from rotating the tires and one must have worn badly even though the tires have less than 2k miles on them and had a good alignment before. They hadn t even pulled the truck back in to look at it yet. When I told them this they said they would take another look when the machine was clear and I sat waiting another 2.5 hrs. When it was done he said the last guy hadn t measured right and the toe was off but it was fixed now. Left the shop and the truck is still pulling to the left. Looks like I m out another $165 to take it somewhere that knows what they are doing. If I had read the reviews on here I never would have gone to this place. All of the disgruntled people in the lobby that were complaining about how long they were waiting makes me think this Firestone is just living off the brand name and won t be around much longer.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

Wow, I was blown away with the staff..I was panicked this day, had a lug nut that was locked, they took it off for free for me, even though I didn't get the tire there..Amazing, what customer service! I will definitely be using them in the future! I'm thankful for thier help!

I went in May 1 to get my front end aligned. They didn t have the parts to do the job so they contacted me 3 May said they had the parts in at that time. I set up a time of May 10 at 8 o clock to get it worked out, I had the car there at 7:30. Left it to be worked on about 3 o clock. I hadn t heard anything so I called them and they told me they had him started on it so I got up there to pick up the truck. I asked the man behind the counter. Why couldn t they have called me to tell me they didn t have a part He told me that it was Joe s fault. It s sad that you live in a world that it s always somebody else s fault. I ve wasted a complete day.Service: Wheel alignment

They take so long they. Always wanna sell you more Alot more than you need they. Don't take time to explain what you actually went in there for and they never want to help you if you have service that you have like lifetime alignment etc I know recommendations are important but they over due it and wont help you over the phone they always want you drop car for hours just to look even to buy a battery

Not impressed at all with this place after I called them to have some work done. They definitely didn't want to help a stranded traveler. Not much different from the Firestone place back home. Seems to be a trend with this company for sure.

No point in making an appointment. I made an appointment for 8 am to have my brakes flushed. Showed up a few minutes early. It is now 10 am. My car has not even been taken back yet. When I asked how much longer it would be til they can get it back I received a vague answer at best. " when they finish that one". I then asked how long the the service will take. "Oh just about 30 minutes " Then why am I waiting over 2 hours?? And why have people who just "walked in" had their cars taken back and sometimes even completed already? I will not be returning and do not recommend.

I do not recommend this company at all. I paid for a lifetime alignment with them and they do honor it. But there is a catch. I took it in recently to have my alignment checked and was told they could not align it due to bad ball joints and rack and pinion had play in it. So they quoted me a ridiculously amount to fix it. I did not pay. I took my truck to another shop to be told nothing is wrong with my truck and that everything is solid with no play. They fixed my alignment and truck steers perfect now. Firestone with rob you of your money and try to make unnecessary repairs.Service: Wheel alignment

I had to stop at this Firestone on my cross country journey home due to my car shaking and then I ended up needing a new drivers shaft on my car. I m a 23 year old girl who doesn t know much about cars, but Joe here was so amazing and helpful and considerate. I could not recommend a place more. He knew I was driving back to PA, and he had all the guys working on my car to try and get me back on the road ASAP. Although the situation that happened was awful, I couldn t be happier to have had this Firestone so close by. I would highly recommend. Thank you so much Joe for everything, you are the best! Do not recommend this place. The white dude at the counter said he didn't have time to do it today. If i wanted he could do it another day Although I was sent here from my rental car company. No wonder how people talk trash about this place, it all seems to be true. Keep up the awful work. Thank God I don't live in this town so I don't have see his face ever again.

So I walk in and these guys are absolutely swamped. I mean like, every single bay is taken.I thought that it would be at least 2 hours minimum even if all I had was a flat.Eduardo greeted me at the door, and he allowed me to explain the reason to my visit. I said I might have a nail or something but he took in my info and he took my keys as I was pointed towards the waiting area.Not even 40min later, he handed came in through the front door and let me know my car was ready.I forgot to thank the mechanic but managed to express my thanks. Eduardo was very professional and I would definitely come back. Never paid $20 for a flat before but these guys definitely know what they're doing.Fast, and definitely felt like I was welcome to come to them about any tire issues.

Showed up 15 mins before my appointment and they don't accept appointments on Sundays. Never tried calling me to cancel or notify me and online let me book it. What a waste of time.

I took my car in for an oil change and to see if the timing belt possibly needed to be replaced, and they said it would be a few hours and that they would call me when it was ready. Almost 5 hours later, I still hadn't gotten a call, so I went in about 10 minutes before they closed and asked if my car was done. They told me the tech had left hours earlier because of a family emergency and that they didn't get around to my car. I understand family emergencies happen, but I don't know why they wouldn't think to call me and let me know that they wouldn't get around to my car so I could take it somewhere else before all other places in Amarillo closed. Such terrible customer service. They apparently weren't going to call me at all that day because they figured I'd leave it overnight and they could do it the next day. I'm not sure why they'd assume that's okay either. I guess I'm really just not sure why they thought it was okay to not call me at all whether my car was serviced or not because I needed it back that day and needed to get it fixed that day. I've never had a good experience there, but that really was the last straw. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If that happens again, I'd suggest calling the customer because I would have been a lot less angry about the situation if I had known earlier in the day so I could've gone somewhere else.

I went in for a tire rotation and alignment. They ended up only doing one side but in the process stripped out my lock nut for the lugs. After looking at the lock and by the way it was stripped and broken I know they had to have used the impact on it and if u know u especially should never do is use the impact on the locks.....just the wrench. In results drove it home all shaky told me to bring it back but after seeing that and waited 3.5 hrs for them to tell me that don't really feel like going through that experience again. They didn't charge but if you're going to do a job have ppl that know or train them properly. So now I have to wait 3 weeks for a replacement to be delivered and in that process being I have to park my vehicle for the way it shakes, I don't consider safe to drive every day. If u do take ur vehicle I recommend looking at ur lug lock nuts before and after. Other then that they are friendly but I don't recommend.

Needed tire and they did not have right size and they call other store and they would not answer phone.went to discount tire and was treated a lot better and was able to get it on and off side of road

There's no reason to make an appointment when you've been sitting in the lobby for 2 hrs. While people are bringing in their vehicles and leaving. Yet you still sit there waiting. And most of the time people are just standing around. And they take care of men before they do women. After today I will never be back. I've never in my life have been made to feel like I do today

I tried not to go into a lot of detail here but, don t go to this location. First of all they opened about 5 minutes late, when he did open the door I waited at the counter for a good 5-10 minutes while he took his time opening the store until I was finally seen and got to explain what was wrong with my tire. After I was seated, about 10 minutes later I noticed the mechanic had given him the paperwork for my vehicle and I waited to hear from him. 15 minutes passed and I finally got up to ask him if my tire could be patched or if I needed to replace it. He ignored me and started to quote me a price for all 4 tires. I asked him if what he s telling me is I need to replace the tire and that I don t need 4 tires I only need a quote for 1 tire. I specifically asked how much the tire was going to be and he said $106. The tire was actually $68 and he took it upon himself to add some extra protection charges in there that I usually prefer not to get. There s labor charges on there that you couldn t get away with being charged, I understand that but when this guy decides he s going to ignore me until he s ready to talk to me and then try to charge me without discussing the charges with me I think his practices are shady and I would not recommend this location at all. Once my card was charged I didn t notice all these things until I left and was looking over the bill but by time I wanted nothing to do with this guy Mike again.I recommend looking for another locationJust to add to all this, he did not tell me anything about my tire, I went to the mechanic and asked specifically what was wrong, he said it could not be patched because of the sidewall damage and it needed to be replaced. I just read another review and it makes me wonder about this place. Don t go here
