Very unprofessional.. I called them 2 hours before coming to pick up a vehicle as it was in contract, and they told me it's ready.. when I came, I still was waiting 30 minutes because they were looking for a key and preparing a vehicle to release.. they didn't even start doing this until I came.. then they told me that the customer didn't pay for the vehicle's insurance and they couldn't release me it until he did.. I spent another 45 minutes.. at the end of this story, they told me that the customer couldn't pay and asked me to come next time.. very disrespectful..!! Don't even respond that you're sorry, because you're not and you don't care about time and work done by others..

I am beyond grateful for Country Preowned Amarillo. I was fortunate to have been helped by Slater Johnson. I found that Slater is everything a customer hopes regarding customer service. He was honest, transparent, fair, flexible, and most importantly, he listened to the things that were important to me as a customer.Even after the purchase of my truck, Slater has made himself available at every request to explain the tech and mechanics of my vehicle.I absolutely love my truck and am confident that I chose the right dealer. Country PreOwned Of Amarillo & Slater Johnson have been absolutely amazing to work with. From taking care of my oil changes, and getting my car in when it needs to be serviced, to repairing my car when I got in a wreck! Their customer service is exceptional!! Highly recommend Slater Johnson!

A little over a year ago we found ourselves needing a vehicle that would hold 6 people. We were told the vehicle we were interested in was on the lot, but when we arrived an hour later, it was in Pampa. We ended up getting another vehicle because it was an emergency situation. The car we purchased was missing a hubcap and jack. Slater told us he would throw those in for us. He did, but added it to the cost of the vehicle. We are still waiting for the hubcap. We have called multiple times and Slater will not return our call. The jack is nothing but pieces of different jacks that do not fit together. We found this out recently when we had a flat and had no way to lower the spare or raise our car. They also added in GAP insurance when we told them no and did not contact the lender we preferred working with. Instead they went with GM Financial that had the highest interest rate. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I'm only giving them 1 star because I can't choose no stars!

The service department is amazing! Our car needed a side mirror replaced. BJ was very helpful, answered all our questions, and gave us updates. There were no surprise charges. Great experience overall. We ll definitely be going back!

I bought a car a little less than a year from here and within a week of having it, the car was already back in the shop. Here I am months later with a new battery and tons of things I have had to replace out of my pocket after being told multiple times there is nothing wrong with my car. I bought this car when I had my first son something I could rely on. Here I am almost a year later, tons of money spent on what should of been a Sure thing, and the issue still persists. I told the mechanics several times that it was an electrical issue and they refused to listen, I am positive that is the issue. The response I have gotten from the dealership is that they can look at it but I have to leave it overnight (couldn t tell me how many days) and I would be charged $130 per hour for diagnostic/repair.I am beyond disappointed and will never by a car from here again.I seriously wish I could give negative stars! This place is a rip off!

I'm looking to buy 3 work pickups and spoke with Slater about one of their pickups. Once I learned it wasn't what I was looking for, I politely let him know that I was no longer interested. After that he was extremely rude and became enraged. I definitely won't be looking at their inventory to purchase any vehicles anymore.

I tried to look at a car here and they told me the car was more than what it said online I go to look again and they changed the price but I had screenshot original price so it just proves to me that they were lying. Now they don't put any prices online and how inconvenient is that? People are looking online now more than ever there is no way I'm gonna go up there just to be harassed by sales men to get a price if its not online I won't even bother looking. Anyways, by seeing some of the broke down cars they have sold I'm glad I did not continue to pursue any purchase from here.
