A big thank you to Jennifer the assistant manager in the Alvin store! What a hard worker! I called and ordered parts for my truck, paid, when I came to grab the parts she was stocking the shelves with heavy items, stopped what she was doing and went beyond every expectation! It's people like you that promise return customers. I don't normally write reviews, this lady deserved a great one! Thank you again!

Bought a battery last year, lost the receipt came to try to warranty it, they laughed in my face and removed the battery stickers on the battery itself and told me the most they can do is a 10$ store credit since it wasn t put under my phone number worst customer service experience EVER

Prices are better than competitors. I've noticed a pattern, though. They have to order a lot of the things because their stock is low. I will say the 2nd one we went to, the guy there was very helpful & called a sister store in Alvin, TX and they had what we needed so we didn't have to wait for it ti be shipped.

Honestly, I think all of the Auto parts stores are the same. All of their prices are about the same. They might be high on one part but low on the other. I always verify online that they have what I need in stock, and I just give the part numbers to the employee, or I just do curbside pickup. Makes things simple for both of us. There isn't much to review.

They are always so great at putting in my hit lights, blinkers tail lights and wipers without any hesitation & it's hard to install lights on my car.

The gentleman was very knowledgeable and super helpful. He checked our check engine light, and my husband was able to get the code and fix the problem with a quick conversation.

I will never go there again I took a window motor back that I never even opened the box because I didn't need it, The guy behind the counter told me it had been used so he called the manager the manager went to the shelve and got another one like the one I brought back and it was the same no stickers on it, he tried to apologize but it was a little too late for that. When someone accused me of something like that.

This is the only auto parts store I shop. These are the reasons:1. Honesty. Everyone there has always told me the truth about what I need, what I can do, what I can t do, in about what it s gonna cost.2. Helpfulness. They have help me install air conditioning refrigerant, windshield wiper blades, the little itty-bitty batteries that go inside your key fob, they did two of these!3. Location. I mean really, they re right in the heart of Alvin.

I had shopped at the Alvin O'Reilly's for decades and was very happy with their knowledge and service all that time. I got along well with the counter personnel and management all that time, UNTIL one Saturday a little over a month ago when I was treated unbelievably rude, without provocation by a certain counterman while trying to pick up an online order. He was so obscenely rude to me that I haven't set foot in that store since, and I never will again. After all those years of customer loyalty to this store I have now taken my business to O'Reilly's competitors. And that's a shame because I liked doing business with that store.

I am severely aggravated right now. O'Reilly's would not warranty one of my batteries. Because it was warrantied back in 2019. Well this battery went bad too so y'all need to warranty this too! That guy said no, the warranty runs out when you use it. He said the replacement battery does not come with a warranty. And they wanted almost $200 to replace it.

Went in yesterday, because the brake hose I bought was missing the crush washers. I was in the middle of the job and had already replaced the driver's side, but when I opened the box for the passengers side it was only a hose with no crush washers. The hose was not in a sealed bag like the drivers side had been. I went in to the store and the counter person has an attitude with me, because I don't know whether I brought the right box with me (two identical boxes with no idea which one is correct). He tells me that he is going to give me "free" crush washers for my hose...well the hose should've come with them and these "free" crush washers have cost me two trips to the store when it should've only been one. I have been told multiple times going to this store that they don't have something that I know they do have. The last time this happened it was due to the employee not knowing how to read the planogram information in the system and I had to explain to him what it meant. To end on a positive note I like Jason. He is very nice and helpful every time I go in there.

The huy who helped me buy all new wipers gave me multiple price points and then was very kind to come and install them since I couldn't. Very nice guy.

Went in today to buy a tool. Then I went to the check out counter. They have a rope baracade in front of the counter. The rope is about 3 feet or so from the counter. I am a senior citizen and I had to balance on my cane to hand the tool to the employee. Then I had to reach over to the credit card machine. This is carrying the Covid-19 thing to the extreme. Not Senior Friendly.

$389 for a wheel hub assembly, and broke down on the side of the road only to find an old returned warranty hub inside the box.On several occasions the level of technical knowledge was low. They're helpful but, not very experienced.

Oreillys Auto Parts has a great selection of stuff, like some auto parts and stuff. And they got some other stuff but i dont know what it is or how it works. Maybe they do. Youll have to ask them if you ever go there. I went there. I didnt get to go in. He came to the door and told us he didnt have what we wanted. So we had to leave to find another place like that one that had stuff that we wanted. We did. So overall it was good shopping experience.

My battery died, had it jumped and it died again, so went to get a battery. I quit going to Walmart because the guys are rude and pretentious. Went to O'Reilly's instead. Jason was very friendly and helpful, so I don't want this to reflect on him. When I replaced the battery, I realized the terminal connection was loose and that was probably draining the battery. I called and Jason answered, again extremely helpful and polite. He offered to test the battery and call me back. I was surprised how much he was willing to do for me. He called back and told me that it was still good. I asked if I could bring the battery back and he said sure. I had to work late, so my wife went up there. The manager, who I guess isn't fond of women, told her that they didn't do that and scolded her for using a battery as a "diagnosis tool". This is exactly why I quit going to Walmart. There is an AutoZone literally next door. I'll try again.

Bought some license plate bulbs. Got the right number from the counter. Even asked if I needed help. Which is good to know incase my better half would have done it.
