I would like to think we had a good experience with Jims for the most part. But after banging my Glide over a curb it started running badly. Thinking it was the fuel pump I took it to Jims.. 1000 bucks later (fuel pump and tire replaced on the rear, my tire) it still ran badly. Missing at different points and idling badly they said it was just something I will have to live with. Wrong answer. I changed the coil, leads and plugs. Runs like a champ. I ain't the sharpest tool but the coil was the prob.

Jim for many years has been one of my customers that i love to do work for. About 2 years ago i bought a 95 wide glide from him. It was a blast to ride. A while back i made the mistake of letting a inferior place in town work on my bike. Parts labor all inferior as it broke down again 1 month later. Jim of course reminded me that he services as well and i should of called him to mitigate my issues faster. He proceeded from that call to bring my financed bike into his shop and conduct repairs working with me in a way we agreed apon. Being amazing in customer service not only in the whole buying experience but in payments and services. I will never go any where else and can not wait to be talking about the next bike.(Note) the bike runs perfectly now and the needed item's (exmp tires) ext are perfect. They're attention to detail even at pick up was amazing. Thank you for getting me back on the road jim and crew.BUY FROM JIM!

Jim s motorcycle service went above and beyond for me. Suffered slightly from backordered parts on H-D s part, but they went above and beyond for me regardless. I went in for engine repair secondary to a bolt getting sucked into my top end (ouch.) not only were they kind and kept me updated throughout everything, but they even replaced my exhaust gaskets, flanges, and bolts. It s the little things that will have me going back to Jim s. Very happy with their service and knowledge.Service: Engine repair

I'm very satisfied with Jim's Motorcycle. I can be difficult to find a shop that will work on Indian motorcycles, but, as advertised, Jim's works on all makes and models. I just recently brought in my Springfield for it's 20k service and I was also in need of a new tire. I think they were fair in their pricing and got my bike done as promised. I highly recommend Jim's Motorcycle.

Took my Road Glide into Jim's today to get the back tire replaced. Getting ready to take a quick trip to Colorado Friday and today is Wednesday. They took me in and got the tire done all in one day! He even had the tire I was looking for. They even checked over my brakes for me to tell me we're good to go. I'll keep coming back!

And I moved here from Phoenix Arizona, about six months ago. Jim was nice enough to come pick up my motorcycle at my house, of course with the fee, but that was to be expected. The repair took a little longer than I wished it would have however, the results I was very thrilled with. I had a new clutch put in my 03 Streetglide as well as front tire, some stereo, work diagnostics rear brakes, new front tire. The clutch needed to be readjusted. I called Jim took it in about a month after I got my bike back and he rode it readjust my clutch and my bikes never rode better. I d recommend Jim and his crew to anyone for an honest work for honest pay. Thanks Jim happy holidays Greg Miller.Services: Tires, Engine repair, Brake service & repair, Oil change

I have had motorcycles and worked on them since I was a boy. Never in my life have I encountered such total incompetence. It took five months to have tubes put in my tires and a top-end checked, for which they charged $389. When I went to pick the bike up, it was in pieces as I told them I did not want to spend the $1400 on a new top end which is outrageous. When I asked why it was in pieces, they said because that's what it takes to check the top end. So no estimate was given on the cost to check the top end, and they decided to charge me $289 to put what they tore apart back together.CONCLUSION:So $500 plus dollars to have tubes put in tires and to give an estimate on a top end. Worst experience in 35 years of dealing with motorcycles.Services: Tires, Engine repair

As a new customer to Jims motorcycle service, I was very pleased and happy with how I was taken care of. In a very extremely busy time at his shop they got my bike repaired and back to me. Jim and his crew are very professional and courteous. They have gained a new loyal customer. Thanks Jim.Service: Electrical repairService: Electrical repair

Had these guys do repairs on my bike (2002 honda shadow 750) and was not impressed at all. I will premise this gripe by saying that in their defense they claimed they'd just had their main mechanic leave rather abruptly. BUT I left my machine with them and they worked on it for 11 weeks before I decided the work it needed was not getting done there. I ended up spending over $2,500 on the repairs including two carburetors because they messed up the first one and a new battery to replace the one I told them NOT to replace. The bike was not in absolute disrepair prior to dropping it off, as you might expect. After I picked it up it still wasn't done and the carburetors still needed to be jetted. In addition to this I had a spark plug work it's way out within a few days of having the bike back. Safe to say I learned a valuable lesson about what sort of shops to use and keep an eye out for. The woman at the front desk was friendly though, so that was nice.Service: Engine repair

First off, I understand business. I understand my bike was there 2 yrs due to some legal issues I had. I also understand storage fees. They get this star, because they could have charged me more for storage. I am very upset and unhappy because. They tell me the bike has been sitting up and it will need to be redone all over again, understandable, I was actually ready with cash to pay that off for more repair. I won t get into what I spent with them which was reasonable. But here is my problem I go to look at my bike, nothing is together, everything was taken off, no new tires like the receipt said, everything just taken apart. Now when I started payment for the bike making payments, how do they or myself knew I would be I. The situation I was in? What I m saying is if the work was done and you were waiting for payment, then everything should have been together and rusted and old. Instead looks like they said oh we haven t received payment so take it all apart and leave it. That s unprofessional. Anywhoo money is gone and you guys did a great job of nothing. You could have even said it s not worth fixing this bike but we can sell you a new one. You would have had my business forever. Thanks for nothing.Services: Carburetor cleaning, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Brake service & repair, Battery, Oil change

Jim helped me out with finding parts for my 30 year old Harley. He found me the correct parts I needed. I will be going back for my other motorcycles for parts and service.

I found Jim on Google and took my bike to him based on the reviews. They weren't wrong! Jim is kind and helpful and knowledgeable. He took care of my bike like it was his own. I told him about my budget and he stayed within my limits for the maintenance, then he put me on a plan to continue with maintenance based on that budget. Last week I had an emergency and he took me immediately and had the bike fixed by the end of the day. I'm super excited that I have found such a good mechanic to take care of my bike!

Couldn't be more impressed with the level of service, speed of work, price, and professionalism. Jim is one of the rare ones - an honest guy who will actually talk you OUT of spending money if there is a way to avoid it. If his shop was 100 miles away, I would still take my bikes there. Literally HALF the price of the Harley shop and he will treat you like a friend - not a number. Fantastic work, extremely knowledgeable, and willing to share his knowledge and experience with you. Repair shops are a-dime-a-dozen, but Jim's is in a league of its own. Give this guy a shot...I promise you won't regret it. Plus, who doesn't like supporting a hard-working entrepreneur? The garage may not be fancy, but he gets it done.

Been taking my business here for several years now, theirs is the first name out of my mouth when asked for a shop recommendation.Found Jim and crew on accident when my clutch gave up on me down the street from the shop. Jim and Johnny got me road-worthy enough to limp home even though it was well after hours. When that clutch inevitably gave up for good a few days later, I asked Jim to order me a Barnett replacement kit. He agreed but then a day or so later called me to let me know he got his hands on it for much cheaper than anticipated. Saved me enough to pay for the labor on the install. Would have been so easy for him to pocket the extra, but time and time again Jim and the crew place their integrity over making a quick buck. I ve since moved to the north side of Houston, but still continue to bring my bikes to them, and won t quit any time soon.

They were able to find the tire I needed faster than any other place in the area and were able to install it. After the tire was delivered they told me to stop by anytime before 3pm and they would have it replaced the same day. The majority of their business is Harleys but made me feel valued as a customer; even though I ride a Honda Reflex scooter.Service: Tires

Ok, so they won't be the fastest pace to get things done to your bike but you have to remember is a small local shop and be patient. All in all, we had a rocky start but when it was all said and done the BIKE LOOKS AMAZING. I had handlebars, grips, levers, highway bars and mirrors done and they did a great job. There was a mishap and a wrench got dropped on my fender during work but Jim painted it, it looks brand new, and he threw in my mirrors for free. Overall, he's an honest, decent business man and I feel confident in the work that was done. The pricing was on point and fair. He was super fair and owned up which a lot of places wouldn't have done, AND he made it all right. I'll go back and have other work done.

Jim did a great job! I was lucky that he had the time to squeeze me into his busy schedule under such short notice. He did the 20k tune-up on my bike and even ordered and installed some new pipes on it as well...all of course for a very great price! Keep up the great work Jim.

If you want honest, dependable service for your Harley Davidson take it to Jim. I have had him perform a 10K service, brake service, tire installation and also did a Stage 1 install. The D&D 2:1 pipes sound awesome. I would trust Jim with any service on my bike and he is always less expensive than the dealer.

Jim did a fantastic job of doing the Stage 1 upgrade for my new Harley Heritage. Excellent service, quality job, and reasonable rates (compared to Harley dealership). I will highly recommend his shop.

I am a a Special Forces Veteran Business owner and decided to support a local business within my community rather than drive across town. I could not believe my experience! I brought my T-Rex in to have them fix the reverse, stator, and a few other issues that I was having. I was told that someone will contact me in regards to what was wrong and a price before work would commence. They contacted me and told me what was wrong but no price. They had my bike for over 2 weeks and all that was done was replace the faulty reverse cable. No additional parts were ordered to address the other issues claiming the parts were difficult to find. (I was able to find OEM parts and have them delivered in 3 days). I had an event approaching, so now I am under a time restraint. I was asked to pay for expedited shipping to accommodate. No problem. I thought about it and decided to called back to get a cost for the rest of these repairs. Not including the expedited shipping of parts, the price was astronomical. Reverse Cable was almost $400 which is a little high but not terrible. Just to replace the Stator alone WITHOUT expedited shipping was well over $900. That's UNHEARD of! Obviously I chose not to have them do the rest of the repairs. I gladly paid them for the work on replacing the reverse cable because they had already done the work. I immediately requested that they button my bike back up and I will take my business elsewhere. All would have been well. THEN!....They decided to charged me to button my bike back up to the way I brought it to them or I can pay for a tow to avoid this charge. Not to mention the restocking fee of items ordered...lol. I'm not one for writing reviews but I was so blown away by the overwhelming feeling of "ARE YOU Sh!..g Me!" so I had to. I have all my receipts, I can post if needed. I was counting on being a loyal customer having a mechanic so close to home. I was extremely disappointed by the opportunity that was squandered here on their behalf.Update...was able to buy the stator and regulator rectifier online for $210. Paid $180 to have it installed. Well short of the $900 I was quoted.

I recently brought a 2002 Softtail for myself and a 2008 Sporster Custom for my wife and wanted to get my wife's bike lowered. We checked with Harley and they wanted an arm and a leg to do it. So somehow we came across Jim and he had such a resaonable price we allowed him to do the work. Also he came to our house and picked up her bike and left his bike in our garage. He did the work and brought her bike back and we were happy with the service and how he handles his business. He also did my 1st oil change on the bike when I brought it to him and I was also very happy with that too. He explained everything to me about the oil change and answered question I had about my bike and riding. Thanks Jim!!!!

I have an 04 suzuki intruder 800.called a couple different places and he was the most knowledgeable out of all the places I called. Just dropped it off to have him tune it up and go over the hole bike. So far the experience has been great. I'll update when I pick my baby up.best shop around. Went above and beyond what was expected and under budget... has my business for life.

Went there today to get maintenance done on my motorcycle. The guys there are friendly & knowledgeable. The waiting area is a couple of chairs in the shop/garage so you can watch your bike being worked on; and if you get bored & just happen to have your gun with you, there's a mini shooting range (dirt hill with some targets) out back.Prices are very reasonable & In case you haven't read to the bottom of their website before heading over, keep in mind that they do service by appointment only. That is to ensure that they have your parts in stock, and if not, to ensure it will be there before your arrival. This keeps the flow of service smooth & prevents backups and long wait times. I got the same day service when I called to schedule my appointment and they even had my part out of stock, but it had already arrived by the time I got there. So if you need something done asap, still try giving them a call. If you get a recording, Leave a message and they will get back to you shortly (their caller id came up as restricted on my phone, just fyi for any call screeners). They returned my call within 15 mins and I was in the shop an hour later. I will recommend this place & do business here again. In fact, I've Already made my next appointment :-)

My 16 year old son took his race car here that has a 1000 GSXR. I talked to Jim a day before he took it and let him know we need it back by Friday for a race. On Tuesday my son dropped the car off. Thursday evening I drove by the shop and all they did was remove a fuel filter that I already said had been replaced previously. Friday morning I called the shop to let them know that my son will be coming by to pick up the car. They said no problem. My son goes there at about 11 am and picks up the car and they give him a invoice showing nothing was owed. About 10 minutes later they start calling claiming they done work on the car and need paid 150.00. Jim proceeds to threaten me telling me someone will be showing up at my door. Jim then gets his little Brazoria Sheriff Buddy with badge #1705 saying he was going to press felony theft charges on a 16 year old over a 150.00 bill supposedly. I'm filing a formal complaint against the Officer as we speak. Beware this guy claims he does work that is not performed...

I brought my wifes bike in for brake work, then brought mine in for chrome front lowers and 20K service. One thing I found out about Jim is that he is honest and provides a quality service, he will not do more than needs to be done your bike without calling you and going over the issue, also his prices were more than fair, again thanks Jim for your quality work, I will not go anywhere else to have work or add-ons done to mine or my wife's bikes.

Took my bike in for service. Had been sitting without running for a couple of years. Very friendly there. Fixed it quickly and price was very good. Runs better than it did before it sat up. Would definitely go back. Recommended!!!
