Best mechanic shop ever. I have had bad experience after bad experience with mechanic shops over the years but Mike and his crew at Genesis are by far the best. Very knowledgeable, honest and hard working. Prices are extremely fair. This will be my go to shop from now on and I will refer all my friends and family to them as well. So relieved to know I have a good mechanic to turn to when needed..

Hands down, the best auto-repair experience I've had in years. The manager is knowledgeable and communicates extremely well. Our car needed two fairly large repairs. I never felt that the manager was anything but honest and earnest about parts and the costs. Unlike the dealership, Genesis had us in and out the next day, too. I would very much recommend them!

Over the years I have brought in some of the most challenging diagnostics. They work hard and get through them and my car drives like a dream again. Highly recommend. This is the only place I go. This place is the best. They took care of my Jeep, which is my baby, took the extra time to test and adjust until it was 100% AND the price was lower than the initial quote. You should definitely go here, they are awesome!

Brought it in today got it back today!!!I was a walk in needing a couple of power steering hoses replaced on my Dodge 3500. Dropped it off around 1:00 pm and got the call it was ready at 4:00. These guys do excellent work, the only place I go for automotive work.Very friendly guys there too, excellent work as usual!!!Service: Steering & suspension repair

Had my car towed in for a shifter bushing that corroded. Was told I had other issues wrong with my car, but didn t. And said I needed a battery. Well the bushing was never put in instead used an inexpensive tie wrap to keep the shifter in place. And was charged over 500 for this. I ll never go back again I never would have known anything if the tie wrap didn t bust. A tie wrap!!!

Less than 1 star. Mike the shop manager lost the keys to my truck that was in for a taillight repair. After 5 months of lies, mis direction and mistruths he said he and the owners were done and couldn't get keys or get my truck started and needed me to pick my truck up and they were not responsible any longer. Had the truck towed to a reliable shop and they told me this shop has a history of this sort of thing as far as bad business practices. Beware and stay away. The manager is a conman at best. Already filed a complaint with the attorney general's office and currently seeking other forms of action. Based on other bad reviews on here I'm sure the manager's protocol is to reply with additional lies and mistruths to try and defer the blame or lessen the issue. Facts are facts and I'm just trying to help other folks and make them aware there are better more trustworthy shops in the same area.

I would go back to this repair shop, after my latest experience. Diagnosed the problem, quickly and accurately. Worked me into their schedule and completed the work on time. Have had no further issues with their repair work. Very professional and friendly staff, too.

Hands down the best experience I've EVER had at a mechanic in my entire life. Mike went out of his way to explain everything to me and took great care in repairing my vehicle. Mike was also open and honest about the condition of my car and all of the available options to remedy its issues. By far this place Is the best. When no one else would help not even jeep at Ron Carter would on a re call because of my Intoxalock or BC in Alvin wouldn t either. Mike and his crew did. Very honest explained everything to me. They never shut the door in my face and got me up and going. Thank you. Mike is the bomb, honest to a fault, he is is patient beyond measure with my stupid questions. I would trust him with my first born. I don t even consider using another shop. I m in the service industry as well. Genesis is by far hands down the best. When you find a great mechanic you stick with them. Cars aren t cheap to fix anymore, just know when you get quote you weren t expecting it s gonna be done right and at a fair price.

I have been in this town for a couple years and it is always difficult to find a new mechanic to trust whenever you move to a new town. After trying out a few in the area, I finally found this location. Words can't even express how amazing Genesis Auto Repair is. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the absolute highest tier of customer service. I seriously mean it when I say that they have the best service I have ever seen in a mechanic shop. Probably the most important thing with any mechanic is whether or not you can trust them. This is, in my opinion, the most trustworthy shop I have ever been to or heard of. Heck even while sitting in the room waiting for some repairs other customers are literally talking about how amazing this place is and how they trust these guys more than their own family members who are mechanics. Not even joking, this is an actual conversation that was happening while I was here. The work they do is amazing, the prices are fantastic. I have never been happier with service and all 3 of my vehicles will exclusively be serviced by genesis as long as I live anywhere nearbyService: General repairs

Never to late to say thank you.Since moving to Alvin we have used Genesis Automotive and have we have always been treated honestly and the work fairly priced. We are heading to cold Kansas and needed to have antifreeze added to the radiator. They were so kind and gracious to take care of us quickly and when we stood to pay the said "No, just have a safe trip and a happy holiday." What a gift to give. Though just a tire rotation, I needed to be in and out quickly to get to work. Mike and his tech was able to do just that.
