Seeking Better Service: Why I Prefer Brad s MufflerI ve had my trucks worked on a few times, with prices going from $450 to $1400, and honestly, I ve never been really happy with the outcomes. The work always seemed a bit overpriced, and I usually ended up going there due to availability or because they had the heavy-duty lift needed for the job. That s never been the case with Brad s Muffler, and I ll keep going back there unless I need that heavy-duty lift or they re too busy.My last experience with the other workshop was a bit frustrating. They used some cheap, no-name mufflers and donut gaskets that didn t last even two hours of engine running. What made it worse was that I took my truck in to fix an exhaust leak, and after two weeks of waiting, I picked it up and it was still leaking! Sure, it wasn t as bad at first, but it quickly got worse.So, comparing the two, it s easy to see why I prefer Brad s Muffler for my servicing needs. The difference in service and satisfaction is pretty clear, and I know where I ll be heading next time my truck needs some attention.

Went this morning to get something checked out on my Mercedes that was loose under my car. Cory was who helped me and let me just say the professionalism, customer service, friendliness, and helpfulness was a 10/10. So thankful i didn't have to go to Mercedes where i would have gotten over charged for a screw and a washer.Again thank you so much Cory! Alvin muffler has a happy customer that will be returning for sure for any other vehicle problem i might have ! Thanks!

I had a stripped O2 sensor. Chance at Alvin Muffler took care of me and fixed the issue, reinstalling the sensor. Great folks and great customer service. Very fair and affordable price. I would definitely recommend this muffler shop!

My friend Bari took the fries machine to be welded and it was done in less than 15 minutes. Everything was nice and good and fast service.

Great people that do great work. Not to mention the pricing is pretty much unbeatable. I had a muffler and a leveling kit installed on my truck and they where done in about 2 hours. I ll definitely be back.

Took my 2017 Ford Mustang GT in for a resonator delete and was super impressed. My car sounds AMAZING! This place is hands down the best when it comes to service and price. Good people. Would recommend and have recommended to friends and family. You can't go wrong coming here.

I had been recommended to go here by multiple people and when it came time to have a performance system installed on my car I went to see them. They gave me a great price and fast service. Over a year later a high speed bump caused an exhaust rattle, they still adjusted it for free and made sure nothing was damaged. I'll be bringing any other exhaust work I have to these guys!

Wow! Finally a place that listens to the issues you have and comes up with a outstanding solution. Long story short, I bought and Audi Allroad previous owner straight piped it, I don't like the fast n furious sound so Chris came up with a awesome solution to rid my car of that sound & it was pocket friendly plus he's quick! I'm so glad I came here, if you need muffler work don't think, go here & get the help and advise you need.

I took my son's truck here to repair the muffler that he sawed off and Chris helped us very quickly. He is honest and does great work. He's also very friendly. I will recommend this place to anyone I know that needs muffler work.

Best place to take your vehicle for exhaust work as well as other stuff . They did exhaust work on my 04 f150 , also fixed my mother s cats,and misfire issues. Will be taking my 14 f150 up there for some exhaust work soon. Very affordable and awesome people. Keep up the good work !

I have been here a few times, with a few different vehicles. Chris always tells it like it is, does good work, and is fair as the day is long. From a whole new system, to an adjustment to get your ride looking good...these guys have you covered.And to the guy leaving bad reviews about lift kits. I have no doubt that they told you all of the reasons not to have them install the lift up front. Take your truck to an offroad shop next time. You wouldn't let the dentist fit you for glasses, would you?Great shade tree feel, dealership quality. You wont be disappointed. Ask for Chris.

I was hearing a loud rattling sound from under my car, reached under the carriage to discover a loose piece I suspected from my muffler. Long story short, it was a quick fix of the heat shield. I felt silly but Chance was gracious and he saved me over $480+ the dealership was going to charge me. I live in Angleton and I will pass all the shops here in town to take my business to Alvin Mufflers where they're honest.Thanks Chance, you made a new customer today!

Went to a local muffler shop in Alvin, and they gave me a estimate for 695.00Took my truck to Alvin muffers & Accessories and they took care of me in less than 10 minutes and charged me 45.00! My truck is running beautiful!! Thank you Alvin muffler shop! I highly recommend them.

Great customer service! The owner was very respectful and gave me a great recommendation on what to do with my exhaust. We ran with the recommendation and I was not disappointed! Also saved me money! I highly recommend their business!

My son purchased an after market lift Brand New from reputable co.- made spec for Toyota Tundra. Went to Alvin Muffler the end of March and asked if they could install it. Was told yes, and he had it installed. It is now 06/16/2012 almost 2 months to the date of installation and as we were pulling out of the driveway and proceeded down the street the right wheel pretty much fell off! After looking at the wheel we found that the nut that attaches to the bolt of the upper A-Arm had fallen of which, is not easy to do if installed correctly. Took it to Alvin Muffler and of course they accepted no fault and blamed the manufacturer of the lift kit. Here's my issue..The lift kit itself and any part that came with the kit did not physically break. the bolt that was removed by the muffler shop and put back on after the installation of the lift was the issue that caused the wheel to fall off! If the instructions were followed they would of tightened the bolt to specification and they would of used Thread lock as instructed which they did not use. A bolt just does not fall off unless it was not tightened properly!Long story short......he offered to give me free labor to install the damaged parts which the part a lone cost me $455.23. Why should I be responsible for the part that he is clearly responsible for ??? He said, "YES" we can install it and at no time did he tell my son that he was not capable of doing the job.If I installed in myself in the driveway believe me I would take responsibility but, we took it to a professional for the guarantee that it would be done correctly. If Toyota would of installed it, I would have gone to Toyota to fix the damage caused by the installation.Unfortunately, this now is going to have to go thru the courts and he will end up spending way more than the parts and installation would of cost him if he would of just swallowed his pride and taken care of the damage caused by the installation from his shop, Small town businesses usually live off the referral from others and I am very disappointed and upset that I have to give such a negative review to someone my son and family trusted.Truly Disappointed,Sandy H.
