Had to deal with a coward kid that works there today. The younger dude got in my face after i asked him why they didnt work on the car after 2 weeks. as i try to close the hood to the car, he then grabs my hand and pushes it away to try and close the hood himself. when confronted about touching me, he then gets in my face to act like he wanted to hit me. cops were called but they cant do anything because there cameras dont work . feel sorry for how miserable that family is. very very depressing. hopefully the young kid that works there can get a life.

The mechanic is top-notch and doesn't play around when doing state inspections. If you don't want to sit in a line waiting, go here!

Staff are very rude. I can't recommend going somewhere else enough. Driving to a neighboring town is better than attemtping to talk with them.

If I can give 0 stars, I would. The man is extremely rude and so was the woman inside. They literally talk to you like you're some kind of criminal and have ZERO respect or common courtesy. As a read the comments I giggle, this old man is one tough cookie. If You're a sensitive person then this place isnt for you.. caution you must have thick skin to deal with him..

The old man is such a rude, bitter man with no hospitality. If this place wasn t the only spot in town to get your vehicle inspected, I d never EVER return here. In fact, I heard there s a place in ft Davis that does inspections and I d rather drive 26 miles out of my way for some decent customer service.And God s divine path is very far from highland automotive. I hope he is able to fill your bitter heart with love and less hatred.

The owner of this place is a loudmouth. I would totally avoid this place AT ANY COST. The proof is how they respond to customers after they have a difference in opinion. In my opinion, this place is probably a front or they lie. No way they could stay in business if they treat customers like this. Are you on some drug lord's payroll? Do you do carding? I would like to know how you stay in business because you suck.

How do you report crooked business in Texas?I asked the inattentive service manager to inspect a leaking tire on a rental vehicle. Instead they filled it with air, claimed found no leaks, and topped off the motor oil. Charged me $42. The next morning the tire was low again, and their service door was closed.They didn't even call me when they were done, nor address me when I walked in an hour later to check up.AVOID.

They asked me to move my car twice. Once as to not block a garage bay. The second time I moved it too far. After expressing that this was complicated, the guy behind the desk said, well if you would listen. Unfriendly, rude and disrespectful. Don t go there. Cassie

All of the employees are rude and uneducated. I've never seen such unprofessionalism at an automotive shop. I've been working in the costumer service industry for years and the way they deal with customers is uncalled for. The only reason why they have food on the table and a roof over their head is because of customers. I will NEVER bring my vehicle in to their shop again and I will make sure to tell everyone I come across to never go to Highland Automotive.

They found us even when Good Sam gave them bad directions, got us running quickly. We followed a local customer that loves them to the shop for a checkup. Whole crew was friendly.

Broke down in Marathon on way to Big Bend. Car towed to Alpine and dropped at Highland. Spoke to Andon the next morning and had the car diagnosed (Audi A3). A part needed to be ordered which meant an extra day in Far West Texas. As soon as the piece arrived the team at Highland installed and had me on the road again. Drove 6 hours straight back to Austin, no problems. Charged parts and one hour labor. Honest. and great work.

They would rip you off here if you came in for a big job. Inconsistent hours for inspection. They're rude, nasty people. Avoid at all costs.

Everyone was very rude and surly. I will not be going here, and I will advise all my friends to avoid this business.
