Got recommended here for a wheel alignment, "phone price" was $89 got there, Jaime started telling me, that in order to do a wheel alignment on my 2019 Toyota Corolla will require a special kit AND WILL COST ME MORE MONEY well to his surprise I KNOW IT DOESN'T, so I walked out. DO NOT GET SCAMMED. THEY WILL TELL YOU A CHEAP PRICE, ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR CAR GET READY TO PAY FOR EXTRA THINGS THAT YOU DON'T EVEN NEED. SCAM ALERT

Have worked down the road for 8 years now and have been going to them for any personal and business issues regarding my vehicles. Always kind and courteous staff, never seen any type of altercation with any other customer as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My CV joint broke last year visiting McAllen Texas I brought my car to JG Auto service they replaced it for minimal fee and it only took a day to do the work. They did such an excellent job that I brought the car back this year from Houston so they could do the work down here. It was popping and every time I hit a bump in the road it felt like I was on a roller coaster ride. They replaced the CV joints the casings the tire rods the struts front end alignment and repaired a bolt that was broken on the rack and pinion at a much lower price than two other estimates that I had in Houston. They did all of the work in a day and a half and my car was returned to me in perfect condition. It was well worth traveling from Houston to have these people fix my car down here in McAllen Texas. I highly recommend JG auto service for any auto repair that you might need they are very knowledgeable and I am ever so grateful to these gentlemen. From now on any repairs that need to be done to my car I will come all the way from Houston to have them work on it here in McAllen Texas. They are the best.

Upgrade your software people. The community is not going to pay y'all $110 dollars an hour to have a car just sit in your shop. Real time service only.Jesus Christ. this is my review until I get a diagnosis done for the price of $110 an hour of service. I clearly asked for a no spark diagnosis but can't diagnose due to business software issues. Sounds like a scam.

Was having issues with my truck and the owner and all the staff were extremely knowledgeable in finding out the issue and fixing it. The work done was efficient and I didn t have to wait long for my vehicle. Most importantly, the staff had great attitudes and treated myself and other customers with respect!

Made me sped $540 and when they did final drive, the owner said the problem wasn't fixed. Took it back into the shop, half hour later he came back and said, its fixed, it was just a bad connection. I was in shock. I asked "you made me pay $540 and the problem was a connector?" he said it happens. Never going back. Very unprofessional(thieve) . While I waited a customer came in and was treated very badly. the guy left super mad.

I highly recommend JG auto shop for your vehicle service needs & repairs. Staff was very professional & knowledgable. Kevin took great care of us & explained everything thoroughly before working on our vehicle. Turn around time was faster than we thought! 2 thumbs up!

I recommend JG Auto service, staff is friendly, knowledgeable and honest. Service is great and fast and prices are reasonable. Been taking my company vehicles and personal for years. I don't have any complaints. The owner is honest, took the car for a break inspection, breaks were good. They didn't try to push unnecessary work. They took the car for a test drive and did a visual inspection. Walked out with no charge. Great service.

I had a blowout right in front of the shop, I went in to ask for them to put my spare on. Guy in the office wouldn't even look me in the eyes just kept his face down. He just waved me off saying 'no time'. Very unprofessional. This place needs to learn simple customer service and how to be human. Would never recommend anyone to this place.

They fixed my car in no time the first time. It needed an alignment really bad and the owner took his time to explain what was wrong and how it was going to be fixed and even printed out the before and after report for my records. Great service on his part. Have been told that I was charged a little too much but the service was great. I would probly go back again.

Nice Christian family business. All family members are dedicated to providing the optimum care and serves to their clients at a very reasonable cost. They will not be shy to let you know immediately what repairs are necessary or not. Their honesty and dedication to their customers is incomparable

If I could give ZERO stars i would.. older gentlemen was rude. Person inspecting my vehicle wore NO gloves or mask!!I asked why not he said "Because I wash my hands" I told him it wasn't right . Older man said if I wanted to leave to go ahead he already charged me for the inspection sticker anyway.Front desk gentlemen passed my vehicle without really going into detail. WORSE PLACE AND DONT RECOMMEND!!

I went there for a car inspection. I barely waited before they were going over the car. The car got through without any issues and the staff was fast and curious. Ignoring the other posters complaining about the lack of masks and gloves. I did not observe any of that.

I changed my battery and my car didn't want to turn on anymore. I was finally able to turn it on once but the engine died shortly after while on idle, then it wouldn't turn on anymore. I towed my car to JG Auto Service and they replaced my main relay and fuel pump relay. It cost me 200 dollars and my car still has the exact same problem.

I took my truck there because it was misfiring. A short time later he called me back and gave me a list of different items that needed to be replaced. Some of these items included a new serpintine belt and 2 new coils out of the 8 it has. After he changed everything he gave me my old parts. Some of these parts still looked brand new including the Serpintine belt. I asked what was wrong with three belt and he grabbed and bent it trying to show that it would crack, but it did not. He checked several other parts of it and still couldn't find a single crack. When I told him that belt was still in good shape he replied, "I dunno my son was the one checking it. It was because it was squeaking then." They had already put the new parts on so I payed anyways. This did include $128 per coil. Labor was a separate charge. Two days later I had another coil go bad so I want to AutoZone and bought a 8 pack for less than $400. That's less than $50 each. This place was a rip off and I do not recommend it to anyone.

Live in Utah, was visiting Texas for the summer and staying near San Antonio. While in the Valley, right after my trip to Boca Chica, my Mercedes broke down. Carmax was too busy to fix quickly so they sent me to JG. Their communication was outstanding and they got my car fixed in plenty of time to safely return to Kerrville, TX. Wish I could give them an extra star.
