Honestly, I don t know what to say. I ve been dealing with Firestone for about two years now with a little repair here a little repair there and Mr. David, Chris, and the rest of the staff have just been fantastic. They stand behind their work, and they keep me coming back. If you re looking for a good mechanic, I wouldn t think twice about recommending them!

Took my car in for routine maintenance and wanted to check my alignment on the vehicle. I requested the courtesy check to see if a full alignment was needed. Front desk clerk said he would call me with an update when they received the results. I never received a call so I called to check up on my vehicle and they said it was ready for pickup. I arrived to the store and ask for the total. Come to find out my total was higher than originally quoted. I asked what happened and he said, We found the vehicle to be out of a slight alignment so we went ahead and did it. I told them I never received a call to give you the go ahead and proceed with that work. The front desk clerk said, well we can put it back the way it was for you. I already had waited for my vehicle for 3 hours for a simple check and did not want to wait another unknown amount of hours to put my truck back the way it was. This is horrible and shady business practices. I have been coming here for years and never had this experience. For now I would look elsewhere to take your vehicle until they fix their business practices.

Specifically, the McAllen N 10th location has proven time and time again why I will always return. I live closer to two other Firestone locations, but will always come to this location because of the exceptional customer service and quality of service on my vehicle(s).

Took my car for a noise while accelerating. Called me with a bunch of recommendations estimating almost 3500. Got a second option found out the axle nut had became loose causing some play within the wheel components. Bearing is damaged due to driving with loose axle so will need to be replaced as well. Very shady that they didn t atleast tighten the axle before giving me car back. Wheel could ve fell off while driving.

Tried to service my truck twice, they never had time and they never wanted to make an appointment. I would give 0/0 if possible, non of the staff are friendly not trying to help you at all.

Every time I take my vehicles to get checked for anything, they always tell me , there's nothing wrong and charge me for the checking. Or I ask them to do something and their machines are not working. BUT.... there was something wrong and I had to take elsewhere. ???? My car was overheating and it was the thermostat!

They tried to rip me off. After giving me a quote of $355.00, they went up to$395.00. I told them that no the quote I received. They said the only way would remove the $40.00 was to apply for the Firestone card or pay full amount.i will never go back again

This is my second visit to this Firestone location and I'm happy to have it near by. The customer service is great and there is no hassle from my experience thus far. I will definitely be coming to this Firestone Location from now on and hope they keep up the great work that they do.

We have been Firestone customers since 1997, and have typically used them in our Ohio area, but this week while wintering in South Texas we found our toad needing break work. After receiving a very friendly greeting upon arrival , I awaited the determination as to what needed done. Unfortunately for us it was both sets of brakes and a caliper. We also had acquired a nail in our 9 month old tire. Chris worked to find us the best price and I waited for the work to be completed. 1 highly recommend this McAllen on 10th in McAllen. Thanks for getting us back on our run around wheels.

Called like 20 minutes ago and they said inspection was first come first serve and it's 5:30 right now and they close at 7 . Then I get here and they say that it's only til 3. How come they didn't say anything til I got here when I called to make sure I can come

I had an issue with my car while I was on vacation in Houston and had a part changed while I was there, on my way back home I realized that my car was now making a funny noise and called the North 10th location to see if they could check it out. I took it in a day or two later after 5pm and they heard out my whole story and told me they would look into it. An hour later the issue was fixed and I was out of there! The customer service was amazing and they made me feel so at ease after I had been so stressed out! Thank you David and everyone else who helped me out!

Chris was very nice and helpful. I was feeling stressed thinking about my car problems and I was so relieved that they could help me. He explained everything that was going on with my car and what could be done. The person who was there when I picked up my car was very knowledgeable and took time to answer my questions and explain the warranty. I highly recommend this place.

The work got done but customer service is non-existent here. I d come in the past and met a friendly, engaging associate but the last two times we have dropped our cars it s been a completely different experience.Today really took the cake. Both times upon arriving for drop-off and pickup not a word was said as I entered the facility. No hello, how are you, we ll be right with you nothing. Forget eye contact too. They re either talking to each other or looking at the computer screen. 0 explanation was given when I asked a question about a repair until I did some probing. Dropped off at 9am. Never got a call. Called 5 hours later they said oh yeah it s ready. I asked about the repair cost they were going to check for me as they didn t offer this information up themselves on the phone. They said oh yeah we can t do that. Not a care in the world. I arrived to pick it up and same thing. No greeting, no eye contact. When I paid the associate just said, That s it. It costs truly nothing to be kind and welcoming to customers. We won t be coming back.

Could not do a diagnostic because the diagnostic guy was not there. Kids at auto zone can do a diagnostic read. Felt very much like they just didn't want to work.

If you want a firm service time frame and results then go to this Firestone location on 10th St McAllen. I have been taken care of several times by a counter associate named Chris. He is a true professional and very knowledgeable so he is always able to break down a reasonable plan of action to fix my vehicle issues ,even on my budget. I like to fix my own vehicle issues as long as it doesn't require lots of time or specialty tools I don't have in my toolbox , but when time is an issue my family comes first and that's where these Firestone techs come to save the day. Some people don't have the luxury to let one of these private sector mechanics hold their vehicle hostage for a week to do something Firestone will knock out in a day. You are paying for safety and peace of mind in the end.

Took my Diesel truck in around 8am on a Saturday. Had it back by noon. The men were extremely nice, they did look at me like i was dumb because I was a woman. They explained what happened or what they found. Unfortunately mine HAD to be taken into the dealership, but over all I'd definitely will be coming back.

Called the day prior to ask if I needed an appointment for my car inspection. They told me no appointment necessary just come in between 1pm and 4pm the man who does them would be here at that time. Went the following day at about 230 only to be told first that the guy had left for the day. When I said I had callled the day before and had been told to come at this time the guy then stated they re not taking any other cars bcus he has met the maximum of cars to inspect? Which is it the inspector left or couldn t help me? It was obvious that the guy in the front who assisted us did not want to do is job. And Blatantly lied to my face wont ever bother coming here again

Had a flat tire caused by a big nail. After unsuccessfully seeking service from two other stores I called Firestone on 10th St. in McAllen. I was told to come in as soon as possible, I assumed they were not busy as it was early in the morning. When I arrived parking lot was completely full I almost left but a technician waved at me and helped me find a spot to park. I walked in expecting a long wait, to my surprise it took them less than 1.5 hours to fix tire and change oil. Great service Firestone!!Services: Tires, Oil change

Great place! We were traveling and ended up here in a Sunday with car troubles. They were able to diagnose and fix the issue and we were back on the road. The staff was kind and knowledgeable.

I scheduled an appointment to have my company car serviced the day before thinking this would help quickly serviced my car. I arrive 15min early; upon entering I was not greeted. I actually told the gentleman I had an appointment. I answered all the questions necessary to set the service up in the system. The service was for a routine oil change and check the normal things on the car like wipers, brakes, etc.. I was never given an estimated time so I assumed it would be 30-45 min. Turned out to be over 2 hours I waited which I could ve had my wife pick me up. Needless to say I was not happy; it would ve been different had I been told the service was going to take long.

Went to get my complimentary tire rotation since I have bought firestone tires, but there was only the worker in the front available and the mechanic hadn't come in after being open some time. Not very professional but the one employee there was nice, nicely told me there was no one available to provide services for my vehicle.

I was having a horrible day today. I couldn t find anyone to complete the inspection on my vehicle until Sandra! I went to another firestone close by and the man I spoke to stated he would be there to inspect my vehicle after five/when I was out of work. When I arrived the employees at this location looked at me confused and told me that the inspector was gone for the day. Sandra was patient, caring and helpful, she waited 45 minutes for me to provide insurance information. It was almost time for closing and she had other customers to assist but not once did she say that she could not help me! Sandra went out of her way to make sure that I got my inspection completed! God sent me an angel today! The world needs more people like Sandra! Thank you for being a wonderful human!
