Robert and his team had the engine replaced in my Forester in four days at a very reasonable price. I'll do business with them any day.

Very friendly. They helped my sister when she was in a bind. Earned a customer out of me as a result!

I have been going to Roberts shop for years and I can tell you without a doubt - Robert is honest, reliable, experienced on all make and model vehicles. If any of my cars are out of dealer warranty I will always use him because I trust him and his prices are always a lot better than the dealership. His mechanics have been with him forever!. He is a true mechanic that can do major engine work as well as any maintaince or repairs. His customers are extremely loyal for a reason. Clients from all over have been going to him for years. I don't know of any other mechanic shop that even comes close!!Thanks,Nick

I've been a customer of Robert's for over ten years with two successive Honda Accords after finding him by the positive reviews on the Car Guys website. I run my cars out to 200,000 miles each after buying new. I haven't found a Honda dealer in the area I trust. This is the kind of auto-mechanics shop most only wish they could find. Every visit has been without fear of being over-priced or of unneeded service. Robert's staff has been stable all these years - a good sign. Robert is excellent at communicating during a visit. I've never had to return with a problem after any type of service. Absolutely worthy of a Five-Star rating, but watch out for the candy dish if you have a weight problem.

No better place to take your car in North Texas. Robert is honest about what you need, this shop will never try to sell you a bunch of stuff you don t need. You ll walk out spending 1/4 of what you d spent at a dealership. The mechanics are excellent. Erwin & Edgardo are friendly, knowledgeable and can fix anything! Robert is amazing at explaining technical terms to someone who doesn t know anything about cars. He will even show you the parts in your car that needed to be fixed and why. No better place to go, don t waste your time going anywhere else.

Came here because all the great reviews and comments. I can vouch for those comments and reviews as my experience was good with All Start Japanese Engine & Auto Service and Robert. He has an honest and fair approach to repairs. Suggesting the best course of action (as if it was his own vehicle). Happy with the speed of repair and price quoted was fair. He also took care of some other little things here and there, which i noticed and appreciated. I would use this business again.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Robert got the job done after we took our car to THREE other mechanics, and no one could figure it out. They would "fix the problem" (car was shaking alot) & within a week or two the issue was back but FINALLY our car works and I can say this with confidence, it's been a little over 4 months and still working perfectly. He's the real deal. Won't trust anyone to work on our cars from now on, so grateful to my grand father for recommending Robert to us.

All Star Japanese is a truly great place to have your car worked on! I brought my 2006 Toyota Sienna here for the 1st time in May 2020 after suspecting my local dealership was trying to oversell me. Robert gave me an honest inspection of the car and addressed the things that the car actually needed fixed. He took the time to show me the worn out/brittle valve cover gasket when I went to go pick up the car AND the engine was even steam cleaned! I will definitely be maintaining my car here from now on.Service: Engine repair

I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Robert tells it as it is, he doesn't do the salesman act or go looking for parts to replace - in fact he's done a couple of small courtesy replacements like a wiper blade when he noticed mine had split. He will tell you the cheapest and most effective manner of fixing the car, even if that means he misses out on work.Great value for money, the personal touch and prompt service. The guys at All-Star live up to the name.

Mother and I were at the end of our ropes with the dealership and these guys were able to save both our cars at less then half the price! They were patient and helped us understand everything that needed taking care off and what we could wait to fix later. Thanks for giving us our cars back!

I'm new to the area and needed a motor mount replaced on my daughter's Mazda3. I called Japanese Engines and Auto Service because of good reviews online. Robert and his team did a great job. The car feels better than I ever remember. I was charged a very reasonable price and the work was finished quickly. I'll definitely be back for future auto repairs. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for an auto mechanic they can trust.

Here I go again bragging about my mechanic! The concept of having a mechanic so good that you want to tell everyone you know that has a Japanese car is so strange to me but that's how it goes with these guys. They have been my go to now for 5 years on my Toyota highlander and every time I walk through their doors, I'm treated like family. The always go the extra mile to take care of you an ensure you are getting the best quality work done at a fair, honest, and affordable price. They now take care of our work fleet, and all my employees cars! If you have a Japanese made automobile, and you need work done, from as simple as an oil change, to as complex as a transmission swap, look no further, and expect to receive the red carpet treatment here! Thank you guys!Thank you Doc, Ross, and the entire crew at Japanese Auto Service!!!

I went in to see Robert for a rotation and wheel alignment after reading the reviews on Google and was very happy with the work that was done. More so, I was very glad that I was never pressured into getting anything more done, like what they usually do at dealerships or some other shops. He offered me advice on what I should look out for as well.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

I have been using this company for the last 10+ years. Robert and his staff are the best. He always gives you straight answers and very fair prices. I have brought several vehicles for pre-buy inspections and his opinions have always turned out to be right on the money. I highly recommend this business!

This was my second time visiting Robert and his guys. I cannot possibly express how appreciative I am of their service and integrity. They are so honest, turning away work when it isn't genuinely needed. I have gone in so stressed about how much something might be to repair and to find out it's something really small. They really are watching out for me and I love them for being honest and genuine! They are true blessings!

I have been taking my Japanese cars to Robert for several years, his business is as honest and reliable a mechanic shop as I have ever seen. He always tries to avoid doing work that is not really needed, and he is happy to walk you into the shop and show you exactly what work is needed or is being done. If you have a Japanese car you would like to keep running rather than buy a new one, he is a great guy to see.

People on Reddit recommended all star as a trustworthy mechanic. I took my car there for a steering issue. They looked at the car, found the issue, and found that the issue is currently covered by an extended warranty through a TSB. They called me and let me know that if I took my car to the dealer they will fix the issue for free. They didn't charge me, they even provided me the print out of the TSB to take to the dealership.I will loyally use All Star moving forward.

This place taught us a lot about shopping for a used vehicle, saved us a ton of grief, and prevented us from making a huge, expensive, mistake when they gave the used Nissan SUV that we wanted to buy a good look up on the rack. The reasons that it would have been a bad purchase were pointed out to myself and the dealership salesman too. I will always be grateful to All Star and will use them to look over all future vehicle purchases.

Reasonable prices, quick work and great service! My car barely made it into the parking lot, but they diagnosed the problem quickly and got me a new alternator in just a few hours. Would highly recommend.

Robert is a great mechanic. He's also the most honest I've ever worked with. Hesitant to give to many accolades as he's already busy and selfishly want to keep the information to myself.

Robert's ASJEAS has been repairing our personal cars for yrs now. The work is done timely, & as said before, only what is needed, & at an affordable price. He has also been very good at referring us for repair work that they do not do. I would refer my mother to All Star.

If you have a problem with your vehicle go here. I had a problem with my vehicle mis firing and went to firestone, which I have a card with, and they told me I would have to replace the engine. Robert and his staff took care of my vehicle to where it's running like new and it's an 2002 acura. The only downside is that Robert wants to fix your car to where there will be no issues in the future. Which means he will try to replace everything which may be a potential issue. That is a con if your money is limited but a pro if you can afford it. This is all coming from a guy that despises mechanics

Car wouldn't start, tow truck was able to jump me and I was on my way to All Star. Determined quickly that it was a battery issue, gave me a fair price to replace it and did it FAST. I'll be returning to these guys with all my mechanic needs.

WORST AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! And if I'm wrong then why is my car still broken?!During my 34 years of breathing on this planet I've never been so disgusted with the lack of accountability, not to mention bigotry. The man that owns and hardly manages this mockery of a business should know that the following behavior is not permitted as an adult and certainly not as a business:A) blatantly lying to a customer saying that you have completed a service when you have clearly not. (I have receipts from him and from other repair facilities advising of his deficits)B) speaking with an insurance company or another business about the customer in hateful manner. *(on a recorded call)C) Not providing the guarantee in which you have on a written paper.**** I just paid Honda $412 to repair the sway bar that he didn't.
