Will recommend and give them our business when needed again. Our truck was needing fixed, they didn't think they could get it in till next week, but due to caring about our safety they got it taken care of the same day. Very thankful for their profesional and quality of work . Truck sounds and runs great!

Super helpful and very friendly! I was on a road trip when one of my headlights went out. I brought the replacement headlight bulb with me, and they replaced the broken headlight within a few minutes. They didn t charge me so I tipped $10.

This shop is walking distance and had to abandon my car in their parking lot at 7:30 AM in fear of going any further or my car dying somewhere less inconvenient. Called them when they opened and they were so nice, understanding, and professional. Was able to walk back and drop off my key and received an update and estimate a few hours later. Now it s all fixed up. Definitely going back to this shop for my future needs. They get from me.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Very satisfied with the work performed and the price we paid. We took our 1998 tahoe in for sloppy steering, squishy brake pedal and a state inspection. They quickly diagnosed our problems and gave us a reasonable estimate to fix the long list of issues. They wrapped up the job in a couple of days and stuck to the estimate they provided. We will definitely be back!

Be careful I took my truck to get it fixed when I went to pick up there was a bunch of more problems then when I took it just be careful they seem like it was hard to figure out problems

To sum up my experience, I was picking up my vehicle (not repaired due to them ONLY installing new motors and have never worked on a Subaru ) from the parking lot waiting for a tow truck. Once the truck arrived, I was approached by an older guy with glasses who said you might as well drive it the damage is already done. There s no oil I told the guy why would I drive it and make it worse than it already is? In which he replied the motor is already shot and walked away before I could even say anything else. Idk if he was having a bad day or what but I d at least like to know if he s doing okay I wasn t happy but I kept my composure and professionalism.Service: Engine repair

They warranty their work for 2 years, 24,000 miles, parts & labor across the U.S. (where CAR guys are found). And they offer a military discount. They are quick to schedule you & get you in, accurate diagnostics in my experience, & quick to get you back on the road. They've fixed my oil pressure sensor & done oil changes in the past, also now disc brakes, rotors, & a broken master cylinder. The master cylinder photo attached - shows a separate piece that should not detach.

Great group of guys. Great work, brought in our SUV in for repairs...was given estimate and time frame for job before work ever began. They completed the work quicker than what they said they would and was reasonable priced, real pleased with these guys and there work. And not to mention they threw in a 7 10 cap I was miss at no charge...thanks guys will be back.

Honest about car repairs needed and things that can wait. Best value for your money. Highly knowledgeable no bs car repairs for you fixed right the first time. We have had brakes, ac, belts and front end repair. I would not go anywhere else.

Very knowledgeable and professional. Dave will answer any questions you may have about your vehicle and repairs needed. Ladies these guys are very honest and you can trust them....Although they are usually snowed under with business you may need to make an appointment to get your vehicle in and the repairs will be done right...

5 stars all around, always trying to save me money, always get my car fixed the first time. Been a regular for years. One star reviews on here are pretty laughable and unintelligible . Just sayin

I have to take time to talk about how AMAZING David and The CAR Guys are. I was told I needed a $500 fix on my car. I took it to David and he came in when the shop was closed for winter weather just to make sure I'd have a safe car to get to work. He found that I didn't need the $500 fix and was so patient and kind. 10/10 great service!

My husband an I made a great decision to give these guys a call. They were supposed to look at our truck this coming week, but they got a cancellation and started to work on our truck earlier. The fix wasn t as expensive as I would ve thought, and the guys were very honest and respectful to us, and our truck is running better then ever! I highly recommend coming to these guys for sure!

Got an oil change and free brake check up. Had an irregular oil filter for an import vehicle that they handled with ease. And simply and rapidly identified the part wasn't in stock but sent an employee to get it at another vendor while they checked the brakes. And while my brakes where squeaking, they firmly and without hesitation explained that I didn't need any work done on them, just that the replacement pads I had installed a year previously by another shop were a bit lower quality and tend to squeal a bit even though they work perfectly fine. I was impressed on both fronts on the honesty and going the extra mile. Price was more than fair and service was top notch.

A truly honest shop. John is a very knowledgeable mechanic who tells you things straight up while being very transparent. I am always been super cautious about shops, and I try to do most repairs myself. The CAR Guys put me at ease with their quality work and superb character.

These guys are awesome. Lets face it, auto mechanics typically have a stigma of being dishonest. These guys are honest, trustworthy, and are genuinely trying to get you back on the road safely. The only mechanics I trust in Abilene!

This will now be my mechanic for life took my van to him because another mechanic I had wasn't getting the job done right, David was very professional and honest he didn't lie and fix it to take money. He let me know the type of repair my van needed wasn't worth it being a older car he just earned him a loyal customer, will never take my vehicles anywhere elsw.

I thought my dad's car had a leaking oil pan gasket so I bought the gasket and brought the car to The Car Guys. Not only did they find out it was a leaking valve cover gasket which had leaked the oil down under the car (where I noticed it and thought oil pan gasket), they returned the gasket to autozone for me and got the valve cover gasket that was actually needed, installed it and then it was cheaper than what they quoted me!!! Excellent work and has been my go to place for oil changes, brakes and anything else with our vehicles!!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Everyone hates having to dish out their hard earned money on car repairs..but when it has to be done, I would definitely recommend "the car guys." Calling around abilene, these guys have always offered the lowest price on repairs I've needed, and they service quickly. Super friendly staff and very accommodating.Thanks, guys!

Found our new mechanics!! My car over heated and I look up and see a car shop. I immediately pulled in and asked for some antifreeze and the owner and his guys helped me without hesitation!! They looked more into the issue instead of filling the car up and sending me on my way. They went above and beyond without payment! God was looking out for me for sure!!! Thank you, John and David!!!

The CAR Guys are amazing! After getting into an accident with no way to get home, The CAR Guys were able to look at my car right away, order parts and fix it that day. They were trustworthy and didn t take advantage of a stranded motorist. I can t thank them enough.

Went in to get AC looked at. Only thing they could find was it was 1/2 lb low of freon. If that fixed it I pay, if not it would be no charge. Didn't fix the problem, so there wasn't a charge. These are honest hard working people who tell you like it is up front. I highly recommend them.

Took my van there check engine light on they replaced oxygen sensor catalytic converter charge me over $650 then told me the motor was no good took the van to the dealership they checked it out found out that it was a coil when I had asked the guy if you check the the coil he said yes it was fine it was a motor guess not with the coil all along no I'm wondering if the catalytic converter needed to be changed out at all

Found myself in a bad spot with my strut springs needing to be replaced. I called and they were able to help me out immediately and in less than an hour I was on the road again. I would completely use them again for any of my auto needs.
