Pulled up around 7:45 p.m. (they close at 8). Lamar greeted me with a smile and asked how he could help. He told me to pull in and took care of me, all the while with a smile on his face. He and his coworker never moaned, checked their phones, or seemed bothered by me coming in so late. These days, that's asking a lot! Top notch customer service.

Samantha is always wonderful to see when I come to take 5. I only come here for my oil changes! Today I needed my state inspection. I had a great experience with Warren inspecting my vehicle. Was kind and courteous. I really do love it here! Thanks again take 5 team!

I needed my car inspected on a Sunday. They're by my house. In and out in less than 10 minutes. Simple. I had not been there for an inspection. Now I've been for an oil change and inspection! I'll definitely go back!

I'm waiting to get my inspection done and an employee walks up to my car smoking a cigarette. I've been a Take 5 customer for several years and have never had any issues prior to this day. Not only was an employee smoking, but the normally smooth process was a bit disorganized and I've been in and out of my car multiple times. The smoker got in my car, and my car smells like smoke- neither my wife nor I smoke and both hate the smell of smoke. I know I get out for the brake check, but now it's being done for the 2nd time by another employee. The same employee that was smoking was also on his phone off and on throughout my time there, which was much longer than expected. The inspection is complete, and I've had time to contemplate writing this message for several minutes and now have almost completed it before my paperwork has been given to me. I'm sure you can understand my frustration. I hope these issues are resolved before I come back again or that will be my last visit with take 5. If this was a free service, I could maybe understand some of these issues... maybe.

Very friendly Staff! The prices keep getting higher and higher everytime I go. It's now over 100 for just an oil change. I am aware that it isn't the facility's employees's fault whatsoever. They have always been courteous, even when there is a wait.

Warren and Jeremy were SO kind and helpful! They performed a state inspection and a routine oil change for us in a timely manner, and they were extremely thorough and transparent throughout the process. I would highly recommend this location for the services they provide.

Great service. The guys yell out everything they are doing to the car and they let you know the price before they begin. They also pull out the air filter and show it to you, mine needed to a new one.

I have been using take 5 for a while. Yesterday was the worst experience I ve ever had while getting an oil. It all started out smooth, but (I guess) a shift changed happened in the middle of my oil change. The new guy had no idea what had been done and started the entire process over again, I told him multiple times that I had already paid and answered all the questions. After sitting in the bay for at least a hour, they finally wrapped it up. I left and immediately went to another place to make sure everything was done correctly because I was uneasy about the service.

They make the changing oil experience quick, friendly and hassle free. No getting out of your vehicle waiting in a lounge or out in the elements after putting away a valuables like you would somewhere else. I was strapped for time and ended up with time to spare. Great team!

I went yesterday (Saturday 0316 around 2 PM). No one came to acknowledge my presence. There was a white van waiting in line when I got there. After about 10 minutes, the van left without being serviced. Shortly, a car pulled up and the driver got out and spoke briefly to a bearded guy with glasses who seemed busy counting bottles of oil or something. The driver of the car left. By this time, I had been there for about 15 minutes so I got out to talk to the same guy. He said someone would get to me in about 20 minutes. At this point I left and ended up at Strickland Brothers on Catclaw.

I come here regularly to get my oil changed they are always friendly and very knowledgeable and take pride in what they're doing I recommend them to others and we'll be back. I changed my oil and my oil filter and recommended a additive that would clean my engine. I asked him to put the adjective in next time I will get my air filter changed.Service: Oil change

First off the policy and procedures was not followed.I pulled up no mod on duty no water in 30 sec it took over 27 min to be treated with hey what you want. Then a bottle of water is to be given to customer I was asked if I needed not wanted needed a water.Then the asm that is just walking around with his shirt untucked wrong is vaping and just messing around.Get into the bay for just a simply top off and no call outs are being made and the ones that are being made are from the old call out list.The asm is not doing their job as a mod they are not using the hood props and doing what they want. I help this shop multiple times to get under the right training and it seems the manager and the asms need to be evaluated by a higher source then the district manager cause that how clams happen. And the new take 5 off 351 is opening soon I hope and pray they stick true to the correct traing cause this is said how a 50 plus store drops to a 25-32 car store a day. I honestly believe the manager is riding the fact she isn't getting watched that much anymore and just letting the employees run her store and her check plz help shop 524 in Abilene it need new managers and a professional trained team.

My boys took 2 cars for an oil change. They directed my oldest out of the bay where he sat in his car and waited in his brother. After the second car was finished, they left. On the way home he got a call saying he left without paying. He sat on the lot the entire time they changed the other car s oil and nobody charged him. He assumed they charged his brother for both cars.My problem with this is they took his credit card info on the phone while he was driving (not very safe) and never even told him a total.

If i could give this place a zero I would!! How are you going to be so incompetent when I take my vehicle to get an inspection and enter the wrong vin number and wrong type of car!! This is pure stupidity. Out of all the years I have had my car inspected, never ever have I had such an incompetent thing like this happen!!Don t let this so called certified inspector inspect your car by the name of Warren Wingfield!!

Really liked this place. If they find something, dirty filter or bad wipers, they will show you and let you make decision. They even told us that we had a choice in changing our filter. Ours was not really bad but we changed anyway. Awesome place and I will go back!

Service was fast, mechanics were helpful and explained everything and answered my questions. I like that they don t just change out filters and you have to trust it was needed, they actually show you filters. I appreciated their service very much. A week ago I pulled in right as they opened (I think it was 7AM) and a young man waved me into the bay, but had me stop short. He said "I need to let your truck drain for a bit" as it had rained the night before. Uhhh, okay. 15 mins goes by. Finally some lady shows up and she and the guy are arguing and can't get their computer to work. I overheard her say "why is he parked halfway" and the guy said "I"m letting his truck dry off. I dont want to get dirty." YOU DONT WANT TO GET DIRTY and you work at an oil change place? I immediately told them to open the door and let me out. 15 minutes wasted. Went to Valvoline down the street and they were awesome.

I had a great experience with the friendly staff at Abilene. I was in and out, my transmission fluid was low and air filter was awful on my new to me car, and they made sure everything was in working order for me when I was all done! The service was slow, and one of the workers was walking around smoking and then got in my car. It wasn't busy, but the service took a while and my car smelled like smoke.

Took my truck to Take 5 for an oil change and they did not tighten the oil filter all the way causing my truck to leak oil. Luckily I caught it (hopefully) before damage was done to my motor. The manager was supposed to reach out to make things right over 3 weeks ago and I have not heard anything. Will not be using Take 5 for an oil change again.

Passenger side tires were 35 lbs, drivers side were, one 38 lbs & one 39 lbs. I prefer them to be the same give or take a lb. Otherwise the service was good

If you love your car do not take your car to 5 oil change. They drain my transmission oil not my engine oil. Then they put the oil filter on wrong. Took it to Pep Boys ,smh . # don't take your car to 5 oil change.
