Incredible experience. Their technician (Angel) did an amazing job on replacing my truck windshield. He completed the job quickly and accurately. Come rain or shine, they were able to accommodate my needs. Angel was a pleasure to work with. They accepted card transactions, no touch-to-pay method available however. Their competitors quoted me on average about $450 more to replace my windshield and on top of that, I would have to go to them. Safelite came to me while I was at work and replaced it in the parking lot.

This is a waist if time, can't get answers over the phone. Wants me to text while im driving. How safe is that? Will never use this company.

Aside from 'Alex' destroying my paint job, resulting in $3600 worth of repairs/ not vacuuming the broken glass (I got cut when I sat in my seat)/ arguing that it was already like that and then offered me a wash and wax to make up for the damages maybe 6 years ago..The hail busted out my windshield and insurance wanted to go through SafeLite. They said they have it scheduled for the 5-18 between the hours of 8-5. Okay, great. At the time, it was maybe a week away. The day prior, I got email and text confirmation that they'll be coming for repairs. That morning, I got another confirmation.I get off of work early that day and waited. 430pm came, I couldn't find a number to call in any of the emails or text, just a link with a status of it. I look at it and it's been scheduled almost 2 weeks later and nobody even said anything to me. I did finally get a number to call Safelite. They pick up, they said they'll call the Abilene number. They come back like 15 mins after saying that nobody is picking up.They had time to reschedule me, they could've given me a callor even a text on the update.

Had an appointment scheduled today. Tech was supposed to contact with a timeframe this morning. After rescheduling work for the day they aren t coming. I finally got ahold of someone who told me they rescheduled me to Saturday when I am out of town(he said he must have dialed the wrong number). I now have to waste another day because they rescheduled me without asking or telling me.

Made 5 phone calls over 30 minute time frame trying to get answers to questions not covered in the FAQ section on website.Tried most of the options in the automated phone system, but couldn't speak with a person.

Absolutely DO NOT USE this company. They came to us to fix a small chip in windshield. With no alert as to what could happen, the windshield was completely cracked by the repair. I spoke with the manager with nothing but an "I'm sorry". We chose to have the windshield replaced by a local glass company that was more than $100.00 cheaper than Safelite. When we took the vehicle in to the local company they told us that ours was the 3rd one this month to be repaired that Safelite had messed up !!!!

I called these folks and set up an appointment 4 weeks in advance. I have had a appointment to have my windshield replaced. I thought Safelite comes to your car. These complacent jokers don't! The Safelite moto is we come to you! The woman on the phone said that they can't? So, I go today (a day ahead of the appointment), drive over 70 miles to the address given. What I find is a two stall area located inside "Sears Auto Center" at the mall. These idiots rent two stalls to do the work instead of coming to your home or business! Top it off they weren't even there to be seen. They only work 2 days a week according to a Sears Service Manager whom I spoke with. I can see now why the reviews are right. I came there today to insure that I would be seen tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. as booked. I also wanted to be sure these people have the right windshield. I decided to call Safelite Auto toll free to see if I can be sure that they are all set to do the work and that the right glass is present for install. I was told to call back with the VIN Number of my auto. As I was walking to my car my phone rings and it's Safelite Auto there at in Abilene and she said that she caught wind from the Safelite man I spoke to about getting my VIN Number and that unfortunately they are over booked and cannot do my repair that was scheduled for tomorrow morning and here it is 3:00 p.m. This is one reason why I decided to show up today (a day in advance). I am glad I didn't drive out 70 miles in the morning rain and find out that 1. The work in a stall at Sears, 2. They didn't have the right windshield replacement, 3. They were over booked and didn't call me! This is such typical Texan lies. They are fat, lazy, complacent and very ignorant to say the least. I told the Safelite rep that I am dropping them like a bad habit and that I am very mad! Seriously people, find another auto glass business. The rip off's at Safelite in the mall (two stalls) are a joke and proves that they are shoddy. Rent two stalls at Sears? A Franchise like that? I don't think so! I will be writing Safelite Inc. about this and I will also be posting more of their terrible way of doing service on all the reviews and rating sites.

Wow, this was the most difficult windshield replacement ever. My first appointment was cancelled because the first technician "Alex" forgot the windshield molding and rescheduled for the next day. The second technician "Angel" discovered rust damage (thank you for letting me know so it can be repaired) but was a complete jerk about the process. The third technician "Tavarish" was angry and passive aggressive the whole time. He was rude and left my car with sealant all over the passengers side of the car as well as didn't install the rear view mirror. Also he didn't fully install the molding correctly and the sealant is exposed. The best part is I have all three of these incidents save on my security cameras so I will share them with corporate. This was epicly terrible service!

Easy to schedule my appointment and my technician, Austin, was awesome. He had a new windshield on my Jeep Wrangler in about 45 minutes. I will definitely use Safelite again the next time I need a windshield.

My appointment was scheduled for 3 o'clock Wednesday. On Monday before my appointment my husband was put in ICU and was getting out earlier than the appointment. My servicemen took my car in earlier so my husband didn't have to travel 50 miles home in the heat. I say that's going above & beyond.
