A leaking radiator with over 1000 miles remaining on our cross country trip brought us to Procter. They went above and beyond by not only getting the repair done quickly, but also in taking care of us in a strange city with no car. A good mechanic is worth their weight in gold. These people are priceless.

Have had several vehicles repaired at Procter while I was in the car business. My first vehicle repair with Procter was on a BMW with a check engine light that I drove myself to another shop; after weeks, I had to tow the car to Procter because the shop messed up the computer and it wouldn t run their recommendation was to haul it to BMW Dallas, on my dime of course! I called Procter and they said they could take a look; they ended up saving us the tow bill ($1200 at the time to haul it) and the car was running and driving, check engine light fixed, two days after I had it towed over. The craziest part of it was Procter s bill was less than the initial shop had quoted to repair before they messed it up. Always top notch service, accurate diagnostics, and good experiences. My only regret was that I didn t take it to Procter first.Recently, after being out of the car business for two years, I met the owner and did some work for the business. My opinion of this shop is even better now, these guys are great to deal with on both sides of business. Thankful we have a great local mechanic shop that s this easy to deal with and can handle high end vehicles. With their service, equipment, and expertise you simply can t beat em. Highly recommended!

We had a situation where we got bad gas from a gas station, and needed the engine to be replaced. Everyone I spoke with at Proctor was amazing throughout this process. I believe the first person I spoke with was named Tom. He was very friendly and informative.Jay kept me updated throughout this process. His customer service was simply outstanding!We got our Lincoln back and everything is working PERFECTLY so far!Thank you to everyone at Proctor Automotive for helping us!If you are looking for a trustworthy group of people, Proctor is your answer!

After several attempts by other repair shops to solve a variety of unknown challenges with a barn-find car, I took the car to Procter. They were able to get me in quickly, accurately diagnose and determine a path of action, and within days had me back on the road and running better than ever. Communication was excellent - and appreciated. The value I received for the work completed was more than fair. They are more concerned with being off on weekends than informing you that your car is ready, so if you have a rental, you ll have to pay for extra days because nobody had a working phone all day. Over a 1,000 dollars later for brakes and rotors, my car was ready 3 days before I got it.

I was frustrated and repeatedly disappointed by a local dealership. I went to Proctor - honestly just wanting to be heard and understood. It was amazing to be treated like a person and not like an inconvenience as I had been at the dealership.Not only did I feel seen, but I was thankful they had the ability to repair the car. I highly recommend this place especially if you own a foreign car.Never once have I had a bad experience . Had to have my car towed to Procter after it stalled out in the middle of morning rush hour. Jimmy stated it could be 3-days before they could even look at it. But I got a call the following day to say they were able to look at it the afternoon before. By lunch that same day, my car was back in my possession. Wasn t near as expensive as I thought it might be. I definitely recommend Procter.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Procter thus far. They've taken real good care of me and my 2011 Mini Cooper. They are priced high in my view, but you really do get what you pay for, and that cost is worth every penny. If you need your car taken care of, Procter is the way to go!

10/22/2022: Procter Automotive is the best place to get your vehicles fixed and services after a dealership. They are also the only AAA approved place in town so you know you're getting a good job not a shady job. I booked an appointment online, and despite not having a confirmation, I thought I had an appointment (my fault). The team was able to get me in and diagnose the issue with my vehicle. Unfortunately, I only had enough to pay for the diagnosis and not the actual repair, but I'll be back when I need them next time! Thanks guys. By the way, the older, larger gentleman is kind towards homeless looking people. Worth mentioning.10/18/2023: Second time coming here for a different car. My Taurus had some weird thing where when I turned the car on it would shut off. It turned out to be a vacuum leak and they had me done and out in the same day. Thanks guys

These guys are the real deal! My wifes' engine in her jeep spun a bearing and threw a rod. I had it towed over to Proctor after being referred to them by several people. Though I am getting the funds together to have an engine put in my wifes jeep, Jimmy was very helpful in making sure that I had the info that I needed and assured me that when I was ready to move forward, that he and the guys at Proctor would get me taken care of. Thanks again! This is the reason that Proctor Automotive gets so many referrals! Such a great crew!

I own a C300, so not the most economical or easy vehicle to work on. I just moved from out of state, leaving a family friend who was my trusted mechanic. I needed an oil change after the 2,000 mile trip. I had also gone through a dust storm and needed the air filter checked. They changed the oil, the air filter was in need of changing. They did those two jobs. After the trip, there was a rubbing noise when I d go in reverse. They checked that, and it was a busted strut.They called with all the prices before starting the work. The price quoted was the worse case possible, so there was no surprises, which I appreciate. I d rather be expecting to pay the most, then be quoted a less amount and have a higher bill when it s done. The bill came out to much less. The damage thankfully only affected the strut. I dropped my car off on Monday morning, they called that afternoon, said the parts would be there Wednesday. I had my car back Wednesday afternoon! The folks there are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and I found my new shop for all my vehicle needs.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

These guys were so knowledgeable and made sure that our vehicle was well taken care of. They re the only shop in town that was even willing to do the repairs/replacement on our engine. We didn t use insurance, but that didn t have any bearing on the quality of work or service provided to us. The whole team were very fast at finding the issues and sourcing parts. It was definitely one of the best experiences we ve had with mechanics, there wasn t any extra attempts at upselling unnecessary repairs, and when we found out the battery also needed to be replaced they went above and beyond to find out if it was still under warranty for us to try to save us some money. Procter was excellent. We needed the coolant hoses replaced on our Range Rover and they did a great job and were very helpful. They even checked on us after the repair and answered all the questions we had. I appreciate them and will return for any work I need in the future
