Jim and the guys went above and beyond and got my wheel bearings replaced same day. He understood the urgency and did the job right the first time. Now my car feels and sounds like new and the best part is, everyone there was super friendly and respectful while doing it. They ll even pick you up and drop you off. Who does that anymore? Great work and I ll be back for any future needs.

I wish I had paid attention to the bad reviews. They weren t kidding and it s pretty serious problems. He took money for parts, never got the actual parts and then did some work on my vehicle that was done wrong, and made it undriveable. So I was out money and in a worse position than when I brought it in. Also strung me along for a couple months where I didn t have a car and was terrible about answering or returning calls, and was generally dishonest about what was going on. Please, people, consider the bad reviews because there s no telling if you will be one of the unlucky ones. Going to court is a civil matter and the court costs to sue can be hard to pay after someone takes a huge chunk of your money. Maybe a lawyer is the next step, if they do this sort of thing.

OMG , this is the place to go, satisfaction guarantee, I'm very pleased, Jim is a mechanic genius, I'm glad I took advice from others and put faith in it, I know who to call on if I have to put him out there for referrals, my car is running better and stronger than ever, thank you, Such A BLESSING !

Jim s a solid guy. Brought in my Ford after it threw a bad VVT sensor code. He ran diagnostics on the truck, made the repair, and worked after hours to get the truck back to me the same day (8pm on a Friday night). He didn t charge me for the delivery, and he definitely could ve charged me more than he did to work on my 5.4 Triton. Will definitely have my business in the future.

Totally messed up my car. Charged for new parts that were never installed. Put used parts from a vehicle on their lot on my car. Hammered my catalytic converter. Towed to another mechanic. Now they won't answer my phone calls. Will not recommend them to anyone.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

My son give them 6500. Cash for a car, it ran for maybe 2 days and needs a new motor! They acted so concerned about it but then wouldn t even answer his calls or return them!

Needed our brakes replaced last minute with 2.5 hours left on our 14 hour trip. Called and said they could take us right now to look at it and make repairs if necessary. Turned out we really needed the brakes replaced as well as other repairs and were able to get back on the road in only a few hours. The owner, Jim gave us a fair and honest price. Not to mention, all the staff and the owner were extremely helpful and personable.

Service was great with a "can do" attitude!! No matter what type of issue(s) your vehicle might have these guys will find a solution along with an affordable price tag. Anything from a simple oil change to a complete motor or transmission overhaul they can do it at North side service. Above all the feeling of honesty and knowledge I get from them will keep me a dedicated customer coming back again and again for all of my vehicles service needs.

Driving cross country and needed some last minute help on my truck...they got us in the shop right away, offered fair and honest advice, and gave the best customer service I've ever seen at a mechanic shop. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and prices were fair. Would highly recommend!

Its so hard to find honest trusting mechanics.especially if your a women and you know very little about cars needing to b repaired I finally came across jims. I was leaving chase bank and my car started so stall out on me i pulled in not knowing if they could help me and I was very surprised at how helpful and nice and didn't start talking prices without even looking at my car ..

Look, armored car companies trust this place with their vehicles, ...shouldn't you ?! Personally know these folks, they do great work, at reasonable prices, and back their work. Armored cars !

Jim, the boss, is a savior for Abilene, TX. He works with customers' budgets. He will not take your money if the car is not fixable. Also, he will tell you if the problem is minor and is not an emergency. Frankly he has been saving me a lot of money.

Paid for front end replacement and they didn t replace tie rods. Poor communication. Was told 1 day and it took 3. Owner ignores calls and curses at you when you show up asking.
